This company is a dream t5o deal with. I called Daniel at 9am, was told he had a unit very close to what I wanted in inventory but needed awning, graphics and front rack....he took my deposit and told me drive up at 1 that day, by 2:00 I was driving home with my new camper.
I have watched all of your Runaway videos. It is remarkable to me the time and effort you put in, to showcase this company. I know you are a dedicated Runaway owner and support their business philosophy, but it simply blows me away how unselfish you are in your effort to promote them. We ordered and picked up our 6x8 Range Runner last year at the factory in Ocala. Daniel, as well as other employees at Runaway that I have spoken with have always been very helpful and professional. When I walked in, and asked Daniel some questions, he told me the lot was mine.(I arrive early for all of my appointments in case I have a flat tire or spill coffee in my lap) I had free reign on the lot,Daniel said we are not going to breath down your neck!!! I did my duty getting in and out of the 4×8,6x8, and the Rouser... went inside to ask questions ,the answers were given . Deposit put down, picked up the cool camp 6/29/19. Thank you All !!!

I have already done that for you! A year ago, my wife and I spent a week filming at their factory buildings. Are those tires rated for more than 60 mph or can I switch out regular 13-inch car tires?
How can I know if the hitch I get installed will be level with the runaway? Is there a measurement you can give me? Also, I want to thank you for all of your videos. I have been researching for about a year now. I was leaning towards a mypod. But your videos have me sold on the runaway. Well, that & the price!! I have a fiat. 1st I'm getting the hitch installed then in a year or two, I hope to place my order, and pick it up on my way to Disney. Thanks again for your time, answer, & videos.

I seen one of your distributor mention that you have to re-calk the runaway once a year. I have been thinking of 6X8 off road. But that comment scares me for leaking issues. So now I’m wondering if I should look at other options
That is absolutely not an issue. ALL Rvs and campers need to be checked yearly to see if the caulking needs to be redone. We have had ours for three years and never had to recaulk.. It is just common maintenance you check for. All RVs and campers are subjected to "earthquakes" as you drive down the road, so it is only natural and smart to check to see if it needs to be recalled. One tube can do a Runaway twice. Most Runaways do not need to be done once a year, but it all depends on how much you use it and where you are driving. Not an issue and not a reason to drop the Runaway for consideration.
I really appreciate your videos. How do we find out the other states and locations we can buy a runaway in?
Look on the Runaway website or call them. There are not a lot of them and I am know there will not be one in every state. Runaway just wants any customer to be within so many driving miles of a Runaway dealer, if they are not near enough Florida. And they want only carefully-chosen dealers who match their business philosophy and ethics. They currently list: Cleveland, TN - Broken Arrow, OK - Placerville, CA - Herndon, PA.

We are in the process of figuring how which options we would like to order when we pull the trigger. I have a question you may be able to answer as you've seen many units. I would like to have a second power strip placed in the back (opposite wall from the air conditioner) but I find the strip looks unsightly hanging on the wall mid way up, which is where I've seen them placed. Do you think they could place the power strip closer to the base of the wall so that it (with the cords) is not seen? Thank you.
I am not an employee of Runaway, but I would expect they could do that for you. They do their best at being accommodating for customers. Call Runaway and ask.
Do you think they can add a vent fan on the top? I’m not handy enough to do it myself.
I have not heard that they are offering that service yet. Just call Daniel at sales and see what he says.

Runaway campers only available from Florida?
The mother ship is there, but they have dealers in several states - look at their website - runaway campers.com for further info. I am not a part of the company.
Too bad he didn't go over the Venturist model options.
That was a deliberate choice by me. The Venturist is a highly customizable camper and deserves a separate video. And that is what I am doing very soon. This video was obviously simply about the ordering process of Runaway’s “bread and butter” - the standard Coolcamp and RangeRunner Campers. The Venturist is a small, but growing part of Runaway’s line up. Look for my.Venturist video soon.
How much more is the automotive paint job option?
Call Runaway, but I am positive that they dropped that option.

It's called - Runaway Campers. They have a few videos there - my channel has a LOT of Runaway Camper videos that have over half a million views total - with more coming. In the last two days, I have uploaded one each day and another one is going up today.
How about taxes and licenses
dareil2000 Every state is different, so addressing that in the video would be tricky. In most states, I believe, you can license it as a utility trailer. It is not a self-contained RV. In Indiana, mine is licensed as a utility trailer and it’s cheap. I showed them a photo and described it to prove it. One BMV employee at first wanted to charge me a lot more calling it an RV, but it is camping trailer. Just check with your local license branch. Insuring it is not expensive either.
All the comments are 3 yrs old. Nothing new. Why is that?
You offer an email for a contact, but you don't answer your emails. Why is that?
Well . . . no comments for three years - well, maybe I covered the topic so well, no one needed to ask a question. I do answer my emails, so I do not know about that. I used to have a "Moment by Moman" email, but it is long gone. Also, nothing has changed about the ordering process, so why make a new one? They are now all fiberglass and lighter. There are many newer videos you can look at.
