+Eric Gregorio i don't get it IF they can have "COLOR" for this film she was in..... "Du Barry Was A Lady" 1943 how come they didn't have "COLOR" for the..... "I Love Lucy" film? which was from.... June 15, 1951--- May 6, 1957
Technicolor was extremely expensive, filming hours and hours of a television show in colour would be far too costly. Anyhow, almost no one had a colour television in 1951. So, spending all of that money for a show to be in colour only so no one could enjoy the colour would be a massive waste of money.
That's not Lucy's voice. Lucy was one of those stars that could sing and sometimes get away with it, but this is a lip sinc, way too smooth for Lucy. She sure was a hard worker and a great actress, but singing was not her strong suit.
I’d love to this performance in Drag Race 😄
Lucy is such a superstar! I LOVE LUCY FOREVER!!!
***** TRUTH!

BY FAR the most gifted entertainer from the Pin-Up Era, along with Rita Hayworth.

It doesn't matter if that's her singing voice or not it just matters that after years we still remember luccile ball
It's rather obvious that this is a studio vocalist (Martha Mears) doing the singing but that doesn't detract from how lovely Lucille Ball was.
This movie was amazig.
All these fresh faced beauties are dead life is so strange
The Dead is so blessing in this world full of wars and hunger. 😊 It is so great to die. Being inmortal could be like an eternal jail.

That movie was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
She's a friggin hottie! And since she didn't ruin the number, I'm starting to think Ethel was the one bringing her down.

Martha Mears
Lol. Have you heard Lucille Ball sing?!?! That's not her voice!
Which one of those chorus girls is Ava Gardner?
Who sang for Miss Ball? Marni Nixon? My understanding is that she only sang for herself in "Friendship."
Omfg! Girls were unbelievably gorgoues in those days. Especially, white girls. Damn son.. Lucy was always fuego from jump.
That’s what Desi thought!
