For anyone who’s wondering why Ilah started crying after she got kicked out:
She put faith in people that ended up bullying her for her humility. She put others before her and got exploited for that. She lost a little bit of that faith in humanity we all have.
I’ve lacked self-esteem in the past, and this feelings are so relatable. When an act of kindness of yours, or trying to be real and sincere with others, is abused and exploited, it gets really rough.
Don’t wanna play victim though, the world can be crappy and we all gotta learn self-esteem if we don’t have any, so that’s still a very valuable lesson she got (and I got too).

It can't be used for white people because being white is a privilege, but you can say it for things where people suffer or are marginalized. Example: We're all farmers so I love all of us. We're all druggies so I love all of us. We all have ADHD so I love all of us. It doesn't just have to be about a marginalized race. It just means you understand that another person went through the same struggle that you did and as a result you feel closer to said person.
