Actually, I'm wondering if this song is a satire. Seems like it by the way they talk about the drugs destroying dreams and fantasies, but then referring to euphoria, defined as a feeling of excitement, as her goddess. So the song kind of refers to drug addicts destroying everything they are for the temporary good feelings; their "plastic paradise" Even at the beginning, I don't think she's asking for a demon to rape her (how it sounds at face value but not context), but referring to the drugs as his "venom, in her"
me too... i mean... the song sounds very epic and when i fight against some hard boss of any videogame i used to listen this song...but... the lyric....ammm... no match....
Seems pretty simple to me. Drug addiction. Feels great destroys your life. They are saying drugs are a demonic and destructive force, despite how good they feel.
Yes. Nightwish is the best! They're my favorite, at least :) It's worth noting Dream Theater for musical complexity and technical prowess. Though one could argue that Dream Theater is really Progressive Metal, not Symphonic Metal.
this is not a song everything that song is saying is a prayer for goddes of demons. justvlike song for sorrows and woe whoes mentioning a tyrant that actualy satan :/
xandria with manuela is like nightwish with tarja
exactly, best combo...only xandria is better
Natasha Iliopoulou that's why I got so into them, it's like picking up right where nightwish with Tarja left off at Once 💕
Ich möchte Xandria mein Kompliment für diesen hervorragenden Song aussprechen.

Spot on. I also believe that the lines about demons and serpents are referring to dealers or drug lords, infesting society.
Very Nice,..
@Andy Weedin I agree...
I thought Xandria was the artist's name. Like Sandra, Xandria.

Also perhaps drug dealers are being compared to demons
Dražen Karakaš If you considered this complicated, then wait till you listen to Nightiwish lol
