Bangkok's MBK center is crazy 🇹🇭

- I this video I visited Bangkok's biggest Shopping mall, MBK shopping mall.
The journey started by grabbing a grab taxi. On the way to MBK shopping mall my eyes were everywhere. So many beautiful building, local markets, everything was new in this city.
Before going to the shopping mall I explored the surroundings and went to a well known money exchange center that gave me a really good exchange rates.
At the shopping mall, I started in electronics section where I had to change tempered glass for my phone and also tried some cool fan that you can put it on your shoulders.
Then I saw a nice looking snack or maybe it's more like a desert. It was a pancake with some coconut and cream. Very sweet but very delicious.
To wash everything down, I found a place that sell fruit juice. I tried coconut flower juice. Very unique but very delicious drink.
After a little walk I saw a shop that was selling bags. I decided to buy one. I did not bargain, I knew that on Wednesday in Thailand better not to bargain, because it's a sign of no luck.
And finally I left this shopping mall and just outside there was a little market. I found a nice little shop from where I bought a nice looking bracelet.
To come back to my hotel I catch another grab taxi.

MBK เป็นห้างเก่าแก่ มันดังมากสมัยฉันเป็นวัยรุ่น แต่ตอนนี้กรุงเทพมีห้างที่น่าทึ่งอยู่เยอะมาก

the fact is
there are many Arabian, Indian tourists come to MBK center, that's why the owner hire those Srilanka, Indian, Bangkladesh people to sell things, because they can speak the same language, easy to sell and comunicate.

Thank you, I do bargain, but sometimes more for fun, not because I want cheaper price, I also look how people react, if they don,t like it I do not bargain more.
A general screen protector for an iPhone is 200 baht, which is reasonable. As for haggling at the price of 150 baht, they hardly make any profit. But they choose to make it for you. The price is 100 - 150, which is for various android models.

I think they accept cards, but maybe not in all stores. It’s a big shopping mall and it would be strange if they don’t accept cards. I only used cash out there.
of course they accept cards you can buy gold with your card they will charge a 3% fee

Yes icon siam is shopping mall at behind mall is Chao Phraya river very beautiful u can use boat go wat arun temple

MBK has been opened nearly 40 years. Have u crossed the street & visited Siam Paragon , 1 of the best malls in Thailand ?

If you wanna see a tall building go to King power mahanakhon you will see every angle view around bangkok, and don’t missed icon siam too.😊😊

This is the old part of the city when you first started so they got an vintage vibes my friends. Fun fact foreigners can’t own a shop it against the law peoples you saw not an owner just employees .Most of them from Myanmar some time police come to check these shops they will got trouble my friends.

Why dont you bargain on wensdays?
Thailand is a country with many superstitions and ancient beliefs. Wednesday is a special day, the only day of the week that has two good luck colors and two bad luck colors. Cutting hair on Wednesday is considered a bad luck, that is why most of the barber shops closed on Wednesday. Therefore, some believe that on Wednesday, specially in the morning bargaining is not a good luck. As you probably seen in the video after I gave the money, Lady took money and touched all around her and the items in her shop for good luck. Hope it makes sense.
