Great episode! We need more Tom and Jake. And Drew, he's cute. Hopefully, he won't be kicked out in another episode. And yeah, it's a shame that Will lost but he was too emotionally weak and cowardly, he would have a problem with every challenge so it was a matter of time.

Fiore is one of those characters who i love to hate. she definitely makes a great antagonist, one who puts that girl Grett to shame. I love the tom and jake dynamic and drew is a sweetheart. can't wait for more!
Ellie reminds me of Gwen, Will reminds me of DJ, and Alec makes me think of Harold and Duncan combined as if they were one person.

I liked the episode, Jake is happy for Tom, Tom making a deal with Grett, Alec and Gabby working together, log riding challenge, Gabby feels threatened by Grett and finding the totem, Fiore threatening Will and getting eliminated for that excuse, apart from Tom hiding something and Drew will find out, I love watching the episode!

I actually didn't like Gabby in Adventure Camp, but now she's hilarious. One of the funniest charcters and I noticed that she has the longest screen time in both EP1 and EP2, that's interesting ! Also Drew is kind of like the Adversity Twins in the Ridonculous Race so I love him !

I was so interested in Alec and Drew's characters and their individual storylines when this remake was first announced! It's nice to see Ellie find an ally this time in Alec so early on in the season, and Drew at the end really caught my attention. Can't wait to see these two new guys develop further!
Yeah I liked that they gave lines to Dan instead of just one line then kicking him out in the first elimation like they did in the beta season

I'm okay with Will going first, as he behaved like he did in the OG seasons.
Dan might have something more up to him. His dynamics with Grett and Gabby seem enjoyable, so he might be better as an early boot instead of being out because of being the fodder eliminated nobody cares for.
The rest of the cast acted the same for now. Alec's inclusion seems very good for the dynamics.
Actually, there are key differences here. For one, Will actually stood up for himself during that intense argument between him and Fiore AND he even got pissed in the process!
True, he has some better depth, but still, he offered the same dynamic, which is why I'm happy to see him as the first boot over Dan.

I'm so hyped for this!!! I love Gabby and Fiore lmao, I know some people might hate Gabby because she's annoying and creepy in general but I like her. Also, I was so surprised by Fiore being a villain she instantly became my favourite.

Gabby’s whole mysterious “evil” version that only she sees reminds me a lot of the Gollum/Sméagol dynamic from the Lord of the Rings, if anyone knows what I’m talking about you should understand. It’s really interesting and I can’t wait to see how it’s explored. Brilliant episode I’m really loving this so far.

My only wish for this series is that they don't eliminate antagonists to early like s2. Their main mistake in s2 was eliminating Yul and Karol to early and destroying Riya's character in order to create conflict when there was 3 episodes left.
Please keep Grett and Fiore as long as possible in the game (we know Fiore wont be a finalist again though).
Karol was not an ''antag'' just because she had a'[justifiable] problem against one of the gays.I don't think we have to worry about Grett or Fiore going early

That elimination was INSANE. At first, I really thought Teal would lose and Dan or Gabby would be eliminated, but as Will got more cowardly he started to get annoying, and by that point I knew he'd be out. I really like how Alec doesn't care about the fact that Will might be right, because he just needs to stay in the game. Looking forward to episode 3, this season is amazing!

Despite watching the series in Spanish, coming to watch it in English has also made me realize that the level of audio from the participants has significantly improved
We went from having fairly poor and questionable audio from some campers to almost professional-grade quality

This is also where the trope Kid has a point and unintentionally sympathetic comes into play. For the first trope is because Fiore did have a point that Will was costing them the challenge and the latter was because she was supposed to be seen as cruel by aggressively getting Will on the log but Will was wasting time and his elimination was karmic.

Unfortunately, I just feel like he’s not gonna make it to the merge since Grett will probably expose him for what he’s writing down or Tom finds out about what Drew knows about him which he might feel threatened which might cause Drew his elimination. I think that Drew would be eliminated before the merge whilst Alec makes it past the merge.

Yeah, I think their elimination order will be switched. Will going first instead of Dan and Dan's going second instead of Will, I don't see him having too much of an arc on his own, besides being a supporting character for Gabby. Supporting characters usually don't make it far (besides Rosa Maria).

Honestly I'm pretty shocked at how Will flipped positions in this game, in the beta version he got out 2nd and now this time he get out 1st. Genuinely thought today would have been Dan due to the fact he lost his glassed and was eliminated 1st in beta.
I'm mainly just happy they are handling this season alot better than the beta version and I look forward to seeing what they do for it in the future :)

Will deserved to get out clearly, with the exception of Fiore yelling at him (which didn’t affect the win but affected him), they would have lost the challenge because of his fear. Will was holding the team back clearly, Fiore hasn’t done anything wrong yet (kinda of). She was lying to the team and yelling at will and looking for immunity, but none of these affected the win of the team. She was with the team when they needed her and she didn’t slow the team down any. She was kinda justified in yelling at Will she didn’t want to lose the challenge and Will was making the team lose and she got Will down the mountain. It was just too late because he was taking too long. Will was the weak link here clearly.

What I thought of this episode,(SPOILERs BELOW)
Gabby went from my least favorite character to one of my favorite characters. I really liked her dynamic between Dan and Drew. I also liked the dynamic between Ellie and Alec. I did think that Will was gonna be an early boot, but not this early. As much as I like drew, I think he’s going next. In the ending scene we see Tom leaving and drew write something. I predict it’s something about Tom being a spy or something. Then Grett is gonna get Drew’s notebook. Show Tom what he wrote, then he’s eliminated. But yeah overall the episode was a solid: 8/10, keep up the good work.
