- Russia is enlisting far-right extremists to conduct attacks in the UK and NATO countries, according to a report in The Telegraph.
Intelligence sources reveal that terrorists recruited by Russian GRU agents have carried out several attacks in Western Europe and the US over the past six months. Undercover GRU officers and members of the Wagner mercenary group are reportedly recruiting extremists.
It follows the expulsion of Col Maxim Elovik, believed to be a GRU operative, from the UK. An intelligence source stated that the GRU is building a network of right-wing terrorists to target NATO, with attacks already occurring in various NATO countries, including the UK.
