      You have no idea about dogs behaviour. Most dogs are aggressive because of fear. That does not mean love will solve it. They aren't humans. Nature designed them very different. That doesn't mean he should be beaten to death or tortured. But there are steps and protocols to train an aggressive dog.
      BTW, I'd also like to see how you've trained dogs with love. Would also like to learn so that I can help my clients. Can you share your dog training links? Please don't show your dog, it'd be better if you could share you working with atleast 5dogs with serious behaviour issues🙏

      Exactly, people act like just because you're scared. It's impossible to be aggressive. You think that when a bear attacks a human? It's not scared everything that's trying to survive ever is scared. That's what triggers your fight or flight. That's literally just survival. It's gonna be scared, but it's still aggressive.

    I picked up two golden puppies from the farm. They’re almost two now. Although we trained both (with professionals because we’re first time pet-parents) and have loved both immensely, one of my goldens exhibits fear aggression. This is just so you know that not all dogs who exhibit aggression or fear are abused or neglected.

    For those saying it’s the owners, in 2010 goldens were like top 3 in biting( not mauling). Overbreeding and backyard breeding due to rise in popularity leads to dogs with bad temperament. It’s still a dog and dogs have teeth.

    • @idylle.illume
      @idylle.illume Před 5 měsíci +6

      I’ve raised dogs my whole life and never had aggression issues in any of them until we got a golden puppy. We already have an older golden who is very docile but she’s an outlier. My parents decided to adopt a golden puppy from a reputable breeder so we had her since 2 months old and she is by far the most challenging puppy I’ve ever experienced. Unfocused energy, obnoxious and very defiant even with constant obedience classes, it was doing nothing to improve her behaviour at home, she recently showed aggression toward my other dog that I had to pin her down with my entire body and physically reprimand her as she was trying to bite both me and my other dog as she is about 60 lbs at a year old now. It was fucking terrifying because her teeth are strong and razor sharp. Since I showed her there are consequences to her actions, she’s never dare tried it again but I’ve never experienced such a difficult breed in my entire life and I will never recommend a golden to anyone, especially for a first time breed - they’re extremely overrated.

    • @Taureantiger888
      @Taureantiger888 Před 5 měsíci

      @@idylle.illume bad breeder? You need to get a dog from a breeder that titles the dogs in conformation/obedience and health tests. The breeder stands by the dogs for life and will take any dog back. If they don’t title or health test they are just a back yard breeder.

      @@Taureantiger888 no this breeder is actually extremely reputable, specialising in English Cream which is the one we have. Apparently English creams are generally known to have mental issues because of their limited gene pool for that white colour. Parents will never return her, she is part of the family now but my other 2 dogs can’t stand her and just tolerate her. She’s slowly improving in some ways but it’s a constant uphill battle. Just annoys me people blame parenting when she literally behaves like a psychopath from the moment we got her and all of our other dogs were well raised by us and have no behavioural issues whatsoever. I’m 100% sure it’s her genetics. Even reputable breeders I’m sure are capable of producing shitty dogs, especially for “English Creams” as they are bred for their coat.

    • @Taureantiger888
      @Taureantiger888 Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@idylle.illume oh wow! Yes there are reputable breeders.. they are called preservation breeders. Breeding is an actual science. If the breeder doesn’t put titles on the dogs in shows/sports it’s not a reputable breeder. The shows:sports proves the dog is stable.
      I heard the same thing about English cream- they have resource guarding issues and aggression in their lines.I’m sorry to hear that.
      I have a standard Poodle that just turned two and he’s a perfect dog. With everyone getting doodles these days- they blame any trait on the Poodle side and Ike like.. your dog is a badly bred mutt.. do you think Goldens are angels lol. Mixing two dogs gives it random traits.
      People don’t understand how much breeding matters.
      Yes I’m sure sometimes dogs with issues come out of reputable lines but the breeder stands by the dogs and will ALWAYS takes the dog back- it’s always in the contract. They care about preserving the line and are always working on improving their line. Back yard breeders will breed anything for money and typically just focus on color etc.
      My boy was temperament tested when he was 7 and he’s exactly what the breeder said he would be. He’s stable in all environments, confident, super friendly with everyone, and has a nice off switch. We are so happy we will add another in a couple years from another preservation breeder so he has a playmate. And I know if there is any major temperament issue I can give that dog back because all preservation breeders take dogs back. But genetics is like 50 percent plus and that’s why breeders are so careful in selecting who they are going to breed and the dogs are proven temperament wise in various environments like performance shows to ensure they are stable and don’t have any issues like reactivity.. noise sensitivity etc.
      When I hear doodle owners complaining., I’m just like.. you bought a mixed dog that shouldn’t be mixed and it was bred for money.
      So you are incorrect as preservation breeders are extremely meticulous in their breeding practice while back yard breeders like the one you bought from.. are not.
      Please learn what actual ethical breeding is and what the breeder has to do sue to prove their dogs. It’s literally science. Aggression is typically passed down in the line and if the breeder doenst have a long pedigrees and is breeding for money.. that’s how u get bad dogs.

      @@Taureantiger888 I’m not disagreeing with you about your points lol, I get it. Im just tired of people blaming the humans for bad parenting when they’re are literally screwy mentally unwell dogs around, I have one and training her has been fucking hell, her personality literally consists of being an obnoxious jerk. Also English creams are just too inbred because of their limited gene pool, which explains the mental issues - I’ve heard bad things about them from many sources. We got our older first English cream from the same breeder, she’s not the smartest but she is harmless and is the sweetest angel and has an amazing temperament. She has never shown aggression, she let the younger one really beat her up :-( That’s the only reason why my parents decided to go with the same breeder again but then we got this one who is far different with obvious mental issues. Your right about show breeders tho, all my pugs have been from breeders who show competition and all of them have been healthy and amazing personalities.

      Kuch bhhi ho sakta hai. Nobody can tell unless the dog starts talking in human language. Whatever be the reason, it's hardly going to help. Rather we should focus on the HOW to solve the issues that the dog and humans are facing.

    Hello sir I was thinking to buy a golden retreiver this will be my first time buying a dog and being a pet owner how do I make sure he's comfortable?

    • @desi.dogfather
      @desi.dogfather  Před rokem

      I'd suggest a Labrador than a golden if it's your first time. GR is a high energy breed and it gets difficult for many first time owners.

      I would suggest go for it if you can love it and take him out to play and love and also give him a little personal space because dogs need personal space sometimes just like us humans do and also make sure he's healthy search Google before feeding him anything literally anything even if it is dog food and for his exercise and training let them out to play and teach them new things whilst playing that way they learn quickly

    • @desi.dogfather
      @desi.dogfather  Před rokem

      Gene plays a big role. But ofcourse, environment and training has role in behaviour as well. If done right, it can be managed and in many cases reversed if trained from puppy hood. But as usual, it's a difficult thing for many pet parents and many don't know how to do the right things because of the misinformation in the Indian dog training industry. We think of training as sits, downs, handshakes, etc. After teaching that we stop. It's same as a kid stopped studying after it's kindergartens. The edycation/training must go on.

  • @CN-uc6py
    @CN-uc6py Před 10 měsíci

    My first hunch is this is an owner/family issue. These dogs don’t have any natural aggression towards people. And the fact he doesn’t appear to trust the owner (if that is who they are) to even remove a collar is proof enough that he has been mistreated.
