On the other hand, I used some plastic door stop(for 1$) inside the headlight so that they hold in place the projector, works great.
Did you make a video on the more permanent fix (or can you link a video that shows how)? I think I'm in a similar situation as you are/were, i haven't checked the date on my headlights yet.
