This is what "fishin" is all about, good times, good friends, and good food.
Thanks for your videos.
Need some more videos with Capt. Charlie. Started fishing with him 19 years ago. Went every year for my birthday for many years. Were the greatest times of my life.
You fellas make a great team. Fun video to watch.
Love your videos brother. I was very lucky to find your page. Thks
I tried fishing that day in Venice... Monster winds! Although my trip turned out to be a boat ride, you did pretty well fishing considering the rough conditions. Nice fun video!
Great video it brought back the friend 😊 ship I had with my best friend ,he is always with me in my fishing trips, even know,I ask Randy Workmen for advice, between Tides,He will be fishing with me Till,we meet again.
Nice videos Marsh Man! I'll get them bitting with the live shrimp, then throw soft plastic. Throw live shrimp again if the bite slows down.
Over here on the Calcasieu I tip my plastics with a small piece of shrimp just to add a little Lagniappe. Fish it like you stole it 👍🏻
I have taken 2 texas bay fishing trips over the last couple years throwing soft plastics with slow to no results. I'm definitely going with live bait this year. I'll bring artificials as well.
Great vid. Also is there a secret to using the versa lost ? I ever can get them to work right.
Thank You
Charlie
Was at a pier in Texas at night a large school of trout was under the pier, I was throwing lures and plastics and wasn't catching as many as the guys that were using live shrimp on a popping cork.
Great action
Fun!!!
Most important the live shrimp holds the fish. I have retired from guiding but as a guide always had one guy with live shrimp and others with plastic.
I think live is better but I had a lot of luck with the Berkley gulp ghost shrimp. Just strong scent. Just my opinion
What kinda cork is that?
Had a blast!!
How to double the life of braid
Keep a small bucket with aerator up front so you dont have run to the live well every time. Just keep a handful of shrimp in it so you want kill them
Down here trout need to be 15 in to be keepers..
Nice competition
Thanks! Where are you from?
Marsh Man Masson south texas as south as you can go.. Lol..
Brownsville to be exact..
Cheers..
Here it’s 13 and up Corpus Christi tx
I meant versa cork
Where can i buy those soft plastics at?
Isaias Macias academy/puglias
If you were using procure it probably would have been a closer competition

Can we get some more jump cuts?
No, sorry. We've hit our limit.
How does a redfish EVER equal a catfish!
If you get points only for a trout, a redfish is as good as a catfish.
Charles Norris To me, redfish equals courtbouillon 🍽🧂🍴🍽
Artificial make you a better fisherman
william Harris I look at it this way. I fish to eat. I use live bait. I don’t use artificial just to brag about how small my penis is because I can catch on a plastic.
Pickle Rick wtf was that paragraph
Well when you're competing against live shrimp AND the fish call, I'd of just stayed at the dock and gotten a Last Stop poyboy. Some fights aren't worth it.
Ha! I probably DID eat a Last Stop po-boy that day. Great comment!
Babies. Real trout not in yet
These are all throw backs in North Carolina. I’d be embarrassed to keep trout that size
No embarrassment at all. The smaller fish are far better to eat, and removing them makes room in the estuary for the larger fish to thrive.
Small ones don’t have as many parasites
