Quick how to for building a pressurized oil pump primer and what fitting to use, i hope this helps you prime the oil pump on your Corvette Camaro or truck equiped with the 6.2l lt1 lt4 lt5 basically all the 6.2l lt platforms. this will work for ls motors as well but you will need a m16 by 1.50 not the m12 1.75 the lt uses. Hope this diy do it yourself walk through tutorial helps you.

Is there any damage if you prime the engine through the oil filter port?

You could but id suggest putting a filter on and priming throught the oil galley port so it preasurizes the system and can tell if you have any leaks

Hard to tell, but is that the top oil port that was used for the vacuum pump? I have a L83 and wanted to prime the system but wasn’t sure what port to use as it’s different from the LS videos I’ve seen.
