Android VRChat unity 2019.4.31f quest compatible tutorial guide step through help VR virtual reality - Hry
I was wondering how people just uploaded avatars that most of the time weren't seen for quests yet a quest user found one magically
I like your workflow! Much more efficient than the process I was using before.
I like how you explain everything while also doing it. Im new to VRchat and Unity so its very frustrating to try and ask around for advice on how to work with unity. All i seem to get is explanations with terms and things i dont know since i never dealt with Unity before. I do appreciate your video here and i will do my best to put these tips to practice. I hope i can run into you or talk with you on VRchat sometime.
Keep up the good work! :)
You're both amazing
I really appreciate this tutorial. My first avatar can know be seen by my homies!
Happy I could help! ^-^
thank you bro saving my mental stability out here
Thanks, Pinky! This helped me out
thank you for a good tutorial ^-^
ur my hero, thank u thank u THANK U
this was very useful but one issue I'm having is that every time I try making this one avatar quest compatible, and then proceed to upload it and try it out, the leg movements or walking animations are just gone. Everything else is fine but that. Any idea on a remedy?
Thank u
I have been up all night tryin to figure this out
Whats your issue? any errors?
If you drag the VRChat control panel next to the inspector tab you won't have to keep reopening the control panel, and can just tab between the two of them :0
I kind of wish I was able to see what you were doing under your 2d avatar.
I test my avatar and I have one problem and is that my avatar eyes is fully white and I did everything like you said but do you know how to fix that problem?
This may be due to your avatar using either a special texture or a layer called a "specular"
this will require blender modifications (if your avatar does not have a shapekey to remove it)
if you need help doing this, reach out to me on discord ^-^
Do you have a tutorial on how to actually make an avatar??? (Btw such a good video thank you ❤)
When I improve my blender skills, ill end up making a full set up video. Including from scratch creation, unity setup, and other tid bits ^-^
hi!! your video was helpull, thank you!!! Just could you make a tutorial how to fix the blush please? I convert my avatar but the blush looks terrible. I just know can be fixed in blender or unity but theres any video related to that, I hope you could help please 😭
quest does not allow transparancy, my recomendation is making custom blush with blender or psd and implementing it
Id be happy to show you how over discord at some point! ^-^
❤
Heyo, I’m trying to fix my 2D avatar (png avatar) to be transparent but It won’t allow me to make transparent because I have to use the Vrchat/Mobile shaders and it all the shaders turn transparent image into a black background instead. I saw/used avatars without the black background that are quest compatible but I can’t really figure out how to fix. If you can help out it would mean alot to me 🙏
Transparancy is not allowed / supported by quest :(
@@PxINKY Ah damn 🥲
was wondering if it's possible to get a voice emissions tutorial, been wondering how people did that for their avatars forever now cause its really cool.
I actually have a video on this! its the voice slider video
just swap out the animation to adjusting the brightness of a shader (like poiyomi)
I have a question for you. How do you make all of your files go to your d:/ file instead of your C:/ file
You can change the path that your projects are saved / accessed from via the settings tab in VRChat Creator Companion
hey! My avatar is using unsupported shaders for quest but i dont know what to do because i dont wanna mess up my avatar
Swap them! If you are super worried, just back it up before changing!
My avatar toggles will not show up for quest when I turn on my toggle for PC. Any idea how to fix this problem?
Lot of things could cause this, first is how you made the avatar
Did you duplicate your project or not?
i fixed it ^^@@PxINKY
i deleted all the physbones but its still telling me that theres too many, any idea why?
They could still be hidden on the avatar, a trick to see that is to enable "gizmo" setting and see if any are left (you would select your avatar to see them)
how do i optimize my avatar for quest? it says my avatar is 29.20 MB while the limit is 10 MB
The first step would be compressing textures, try to compact them down to 1024, and use crunch compress
I can’t build and publish for android and it doesn’t show up? At all
Did you get an error? Did you see it say "upload successful"
i do have a question, what do you do when all the texture of the avatar are made using poiomi? owo" but really useful otherwise :D
You follow this video and convert them to quest-compatible shaders ^-^
I also have a newer video for 2022 unity on my channel
I need help I can’t post it because everyone is so god dam mean to me and also no one will do it for me
depending what you need help with i could lend a hand ^-^
I followed all of the steps, but my quest version won’t sync up with my PC version, like if I have clothes on, they won’t be on for quest, but sometimes they are and sometimes they aren’t any advice?
Did you add stuff to your pc version? If you change them at all after it will break them
@@PxINKY I didn’t add anything to the pc version I just imuploaded it to quest after following the tutorial. Like people on quest say my hands ain’t moving but my expressions are changing and such. Is it my parameters?
Yes, if your parameters done match itll cause issues like this
@@PxINKY I’m looking at my parameters rn and I don’t see any changes in them
@Sarfog are you using anything custom / anything that uses vrcfury on either?
for some reason when I press android it just doesn’t do anything
Try watching my newer updated tutorial, Specifically the PC one, as it'll tell you how to download the proper unity!
trying this on my avatar i made in vroid and changing the shaders to toonlit or matcaplit completely breaks the avatar, part of the forehead goes inside out, clothing goes pitch black on the edges, which almost fits my aesthetic of a suit and tie but just barely looks wrong, and the glasses are no longer see through. any ideas?
I would suggest trying out a tutorial on converting a vroid avatar to vrchat, i do not have much expertise there, so i may not be able to fully help. sorry
@@PxINKY alright, i think im just gonna deal with it as all the tutorials ive found are either outdated or pc only, and im just gonna shift the glasses so they cover the broken parts of the forehead, that way it at least looks kinda normalish
Import the model into blender and remove vertex colours to make the shader shade correct, as for your glasses. VRChat on Quest doesn't support transparency. So you can never have see through glasses.
what is the pysbones are ON the avatr its self?
Then look at the section that its linked to
Some will have a bone named and thatll let you know what part its pointing to
when i try to switch it to android it says Android:AndroidPlayer is Disabled
Do you have android SDK installed?
@@PxINKY yes
man when i changed it to toonlit everything turned white but its fine love the tutorial
That means it may be missing textures in the slots, check your material settings!
@@PxINKY i fixed it i completly restarted and used a quest converter thing
Hi Pinky its me Action you might remeber me anyways i have mann errors in unity like salve scenes and argument errors and build failed can you help i love your videos i would appreacite it :>
You are free to contact me on discord
@@PxINKY thx 😊
easy quest switcher exists for a reason bro 😭
This is for people who dont use / dont know about that ^-^
@@PxINKY fair enough, but why not just show them.. i mean thats why your making a tutorial
@@thistaken5550 ill get to it eventually, i have a catalog of video ideas
Also I normally do videos on things I know, and I have yet to touch easy quest switcher yet personally
good lord turn up your mic, i can barely hear you!
9:52
Unity killing my pc :(
I dont think i could understand that
Did you watch part 1? also this one is outdated, there is a newer set on my channel
@@PxINKY well, no sir
So i just got avatar with both pc and quest compatible and i didnt know to upload both of them so they would show up in one avatar and you saved me so much pain by just adding czcams.com/video/s9ATJ4IOXEc/video.html thank you so much! Keep up with the great work!
Thank you 💗
