On my save file, Booster would give my party massive troubles: On the first round, there is a hefty chance where Engine 023 will go off without you being able to do a single move, effectively getting rid of 060% of your party in the process; if the player is lucky enough to get in a move immediately after Booster ends up in Busy status, the method that I would use is the Neutral Strat when everybody is between Level 028 and 030: ~ Start with Mario, Geno, and Toadstool; prepare the Barrier via their Triple Move, then have Toadstool Mute the Sniffets. ~ Switch the party mid~battle to the ones best equipped to deliver the most Physical Damage, only focusing on Booster; retain at least Peach to keep Muting and Healing as needed. ~ Hope that Super and/or Ultra Jump gets 027 Hits or better every time in order to keep the Cycle Count low. If I had known about the weaknesses earlier on, I would've definitely done your method instead of simply brute forcing all damage on Booster, it only took four attempts on my first run and it is honestly astounding that I was even able to do this without too many Specials; my play habit with Super Mario RPG since 2008 has always been to resort to Physical Attacks and only use Specials when absolutely needed (in this case, Bosses Only), ironically the best gear does more damage than the best abilities at times and it's fortunate that the Neutral Strat works in time before Booster can get 023 to leave the station for a second time.
What speed up accessories are you using? The Jinx Belt, Feather or Troopa medal can make several party members fast enough to stop Booster. Also, do you not use Mallow’s Though Peek to learn enemy weaknesses?
@@alexanderg9940 At this point, I had the Feather go unused and the Jinx Belt on Bowser, Mario had the Quartz Charm and the only other accessories in use by the others were the Booster Charm, Experience Booster, and Ghost Medal; by this point, Toadstool was already at Level 030 as I had her farm with the Experience Booster in the main campaign up until a little after the Axem Rangers, and Thought Peek was in partial use throughout the entirety of the game, my Speedrunner mentality kind of made me overlook it for the revisits but it was good fun figuring out some of the methods from scratch with minimal guidance, especially in the case of Punchinello and Culex Three~D. (:

EVEN WITH speed boosting accessories I had Booster attempt the train attack EVERY TURN until it either kills you or he DIES. I also could NOT do even more then 10 Ultra/Super jumps at all so I could NOT equip the Super suit on Mario EVER.
But sometimes booster USES the train attack like at the START of the fight BEFORE you get even 1 turn to cancel it and that's even WITH a 50 speed stat on at least 3 party members.
I just got my super suit I got to that part do I have to wait till later because I'm looking I was supposed to get the tax scarf for getting 30 jumps but I don't have it in my inventory do I have to wait until later I'm scratching my head I'm trying to figure out where is my attack scarf at because I can't find it or maybe I got to do them both separate I'm thinking after I already did the hundred jumps and after I collect the super suit maybe I got to do another 30 by itself because I don't understand why I don't have my attack scarf maybe I got to do two jumps separate
The only real reason why I want a new game plus in this game is to keep all of my stuff just in case if I want to go back and play it again I can play it with all of my stuff that I've collected what is still not that big of a deal if they never add a new game plus I just won't do that hundred jump again I never doing that again
I found the attack scarf I had to go to sleep it didn't pop up right away I gave Mario the super suit should I give Mario the super scarf the attack scarf I meant should I give give him both and sorry for all of the messages it's just you didn't make a new video yet
About that I can't even get 10 super jumps Star Rain is the same while IT could get rid of the 4 Crystals in the Culex rematch in 3 to 4 turns IF you can get the full 17 hits in but even on the SNES game I couldn't even get 1 HIT of Mallow's Star Rain attack off at all.
as someone who beat culex first try both times but got absolutely smoked by this damn train, this video is very cathartic to me

A lot of people don’t know or never tried it but Geno Whirl can insta kill the snifsters to make this fight a LOT easier
It’s a lot more guaranteed and quicker this way because using whirl would require Geno needing 3 turns!!

@@Royameadow Bowser is too naturally slow. If you put a speed-up accessory on Mario or Geno then you can easily keep booster from getting off the 023.

Wow this is much easier than my stragrty that I used. I simply just muted them with Peach and just use Snowy from Mallow.
Muting the Snifits is really smart though.

Make sure Mario has the highest speed stat! If he wears the supersuit, that’s guaranteed.

Ultra has more base damage as well so if done on a single target will have more damage output!

This video is 1000% useless if you are unable to get the super suit and cannot outspeed Booster and the snifits.
Using the team attack is still effective and you can use the troopa medal and attack scarf for speed!
Ok i used Snowy and it only does around 400 damage. It doesn’t do as much damage as you’re showing here.

Super Jump would've destroyed every bosses alone if pulling 80-99 jumps weren't so pain in the ass to execute.
