Based on the success the UT & USC players had in the NFL, I would say that you are completely wrong. This game almost had 50 NFL players in it....Although insanely talented, the 13 FSU or 11 LSU/Bama aren't on the USC/UT level

Ironic considering Texas had such a bad track record against OU. But the Rose Bowl victory against Michigan the year before was the catalyst. Then having the absolute brass to challenge Ohio State in The Shoe and win was what gave them the confidence to beat OU when it mattered most. Finally ending with a final climatic showdown against USC. I’m surprised this championship run hasn’t been made into a movie yet.

As a huge Gator fan I am partial to the Gator's win over Oklahoma but this WAS the best game I have ever seen. No game has ever given me goosebumps like this one. I'll never forget it. I'm so proud of Vince Young turning his career around. I heard him in a recent interview and he was cheerful and playful. He had a lot of pressure on him coming out of college but Jeff Fisher proved once again he's the best player manager in the game. Congrats Vince!!
Know what the best part of that play was? The fact that he looked up the crowd, thought about celebrating, but was intelligent enough to not do a thing because he's SMART enough to not risk a flag of any sort.
