- A visit to Pick-n-Pull in Edmonton, Alberta this past 2023 November, the 3rd car on our tour is this 1988 Buick Regal Custom Coupe. At first glance judging by the body rust and wear, it appeared to have some miles on it, but when I got a look at the odometer....wow! Its just a baby. Nothing to take off this car, honestly, no one has taken anything off this car yet. Should be in my yard rusting instead of here.
ABS didn't become available until late 89. Power steering was indeed standard.
Good to know.
And on that regal daytime running lights was added as a feature in mid 89
@@coololds85 Might be earlier than that as it was a Canadian mandated option.
Bet that was real nice new.
Also, is that the same luggage rack/spoiler that's in the fieros?
It really does look similar but I think this one is more curved.
Is this car available still? I can use some parts. I have one of these in the same color since my grandpa bought it new in the showroom. I can use some stuff if you don’t mind checking if it’s still there.
Pick-N-Pull Edmonton, check out the inventory on their website, it’s very up to date.
@@Turbo231 do you pull parts for people if I ever needed anything ?
@@coololds85 No, I’m 2.5 hours away and only go once every few months.
It must have been parked in a heated garage all its life .Cars rust out fast that way 😒
Yeah....if you needed the 2.8L with the 4 speed automatic, this is the car to pick it from. 3.33 FD ratio isn't bad either.
@@Turbo231 For 1988, all W body coupes...the 2.8 was the only engine option. A 3 speed automatic, 4 speed with overdrive, and 5 speed Getrag 282 manual were available. Nice video, thanks so much for posting!
