Truck companies are doing their part, now cyclists need to smarten up their part. I worked on Crossrail in 2013 and each delivery truck was inspected to ensure it was fitted with the correct mirrors and signs of that time. Yet walking on the pavements around Liverpool St. Station, from job site to job site I was nearly knocked over every day by cyclists taking short cuts to avoid one-way streets, jams etc. I'm sure it's even worse now with door dash delivery's, electric bikes with tourist who haven't a clue where they're going.
