Tip at 18:37 about 808s and kicks is really helpful, especially when you have kicks that are literally 808s themselves and the tone of kick and seperate 808 clash so much respect for that 100.

(Only tip I’d add further for anyone reading this is add the gain plugin to your master and turn mono mode on so when you’re mixing the volume and effects of each track they sit sweet.. then once you’ve done that remove the gain plugin from the master and hear the magic)
(Calvin Harris DM’d me back once and said mix the drums and vocal first in mono.. then everything else just sits in) 🤙🏻
