How did you make your GarageBand look like that
I have been a subscriber of your channel for several months now. When I moved from Cubase to Logic Pro - I found your instructional videos the most helpful. You always made it a point that professional production is possible with Logic's stock plugins and that is so helpful. Now that I have upgraded to Mac Mini Silicon (M1), I can only rely on the stock plugins as none of the other 3rd party plugin vendors yet release the Silicon version (except Fab Filter).
You’re the best teacher on Logic Pro x. Not only you tell us how to do it but you show it at the same time, thanks 🙏

I'm gonna make a handful of full mixes of the same tune. Tuts like yours help me get them to the mixing olympics of my mind. My first full mix is a fifth place olympiad, my 4th mix a 4th place olympiad of the same specific olympic sport and so on. Taking realistic breaks in between each full mix version gives me a fresh set of ears and a lucid mind. I admire your sweat put into individual post-video edits too. Thx. Valentina.

I noticed this too when just tuning my vocals without effects it sounds muddy and boxy and it's logical I can't believe people didn't know this with just effects and singing on key that's just what you need to sound greater than others

I use melodyne first to adjust it, i haven't tried flex pitch but im sure its similar just less bells and whistles but yeah i found slapping autotune on lightly after is nice

You’re the greatest! Would love to collab sometime if you are down! Also this was extremely helpful because I’m mixing someone else’s vocals with Autotunes and was having trouble getting all of his notes to tune properly. I believe this is the answer to my problem though!

Does it matter if Autotune is in the beginning or the end of the plug in chain?
Am I doing something wrong when I do the flex pitch it’s makes it have this metallic sound kinda lingering in the background on some of the words . Then when the autotune is added it makes that robotic sound stand out even more (yes I turned down the autotune)

Am having trouble when I record is cool for the 1st take and when I duplicate the track it starts crackling could u let me no why let I really need help asap
Let me know if my analogy is correct. Using flex pitch before autotune makes it work smoothly and not so obvious the same way that manually adjusting volume of uneven vocal tracks can make a compressor work less hard. Another analogy would be if I was using dynamic compression and reduced the volume of certain loud frequency ranges - this would smooth the compression and prevent the non-offending frequency ranges from getting too squashed by compression. I'm a newbie, but hopefully I'm on track LOL.

In your Pluginchain on the Screen it seems you do the pitchcorrectionplugin at the end after all the EQ and Comp stuff?
I think before the other plugins is a better choice, what do you think?
And without autotune FX I line your Voice also, I mean with it sounds synthetic and without it sounds natural and your own colour is more present, and I like your Colour.
It would be great if you can show us how to flexpitch with flextime inside logic.
I tried it but always you hear some bad artefacts bringing the flexpitch inside Logic.
I try always to not hear the Autotune on my own voice, because I like it more Natural.
