    yup. i completely agree with everything you said. i do view the lions and packers as having equal shots to win the division however. its 50-50 for me. im hoping that our defense finally has what it takes to get over the hump. everyone we drafted plays downhill and fast and all of our other young players are entering year 3(ish) when you would expect them to make that jump. go pack!

    Love has shown greatness the second half of the season. They have a plethora of skill position players that can slay defenses. The moves made on defense along with the coaching changes r gonna pay off. Watch

    As a Lions fan, I wouldn't expect a Packers fan to feel any other way. On paper, these two teams are evenly matched.
    The division is gonna be brutal, especially if Minnesota and Chicago get decent play from their QBs. Gonna be fun!
    Go Lions!!!

    One metric doesn’t mean if a team is better. Yes the Packers have improved but I would also say the lions have improved. They’ve addressed their secondary, which was their biggest need. They add DJ so good luck running the ball on them when they are ready a top five run defense And offense is just as good as last year if not better. Another thing you need to consider is have teams figured out Jordan love going into a second year. Does he have a sophomore slump? Only time will tell.

    Shut and prove it. To be the best, you have to beat the best so come on, being it.

    As I've always said to my Packer fan friends, you just have to play the Bears and the Cowboys in every playoff game and you'll be in the Super Bowl, where the Packers would likely lose to the Chiefs. Any other teams, one and done.

    • @packnthat9823
      @packnthat9823 Před 29 dny +1

      Yes. Let's account for why.
      1. Early in the season EVERYONE was figuring stuff out.
      2. Rookie wrs trying to be in the right place.
      3. Jordan getting his bearings behind him
      4. The coaches limiting the pkaybook based off of what the team was showing.
      Once the team showed they could handle it the playbook opened and the coaches unleashed Jordan and the rookies. The beginning was just growing pains.

    Kool-aid. You're drinking too much Packers kool-aid. The Packers are the youngest team in the league. The Lions are the 5th youngest... and they're winning. The Lions have graded an A or A+ for offseason moves. They're not getting worse... they're getting BETTER. So, to make up the difference you have to hit on like 7 rookies. That aint happening.

      Sure there is great hype and expectation(s) But that's why they Play the Games . The whole scenario is VERY Different now from the start of the 2023 Season After being a rookie laden team not predicted to do much And facing the start of 2024 with lofty expectation The Young Packers will be facing and have to own up to those expectations OR show me that last years 2nd half was not just a " fluke " Can the team maintain that level ? With the teams in the North have gotten better thru the draft and FA ? Time will tell .It's a long arduous season where so much can change Good Health , and Best if luck for

    As a Lions fan, I will accept this crayon challenge! You say you only want to use the second half of the season for the Packers? Well, I only want to use the first half of the Lions season! Let the tantrums begin! With all your deep research, you said that the Lions didn't beat any good teams in the playoffs like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Is that the same Buccaneers that stomp the Packers at the end of the season that you only want to use 34-20? I'll wait for toys to be stomped and thrown...loud screaming. In the 2023 pass defense, the Packers were ranked 9th and the Lions ranked 27th yet in your head it's flipped? Rush defense the Lions ranked 2nd and the Packers ranked 28th. The Lions signed 3 vets and drafted 2 top rookies for the secondary and picked up one of the top run-stoppers in the league. So good luck with your Christmas list...but if you are good I will get you a cheese-flavored lollypop
