    I'm glad the mom immediately realized her fuck up, but the fact that she gets mad at her son for not telling her he was raped and kicking him out is still INFURIATING. Like you only gave him more reason than he'd already had to not tell you there.

      She wasn't mad at him, she had to remove him from the house because she didn't want to pour all her anger she had for herself, onto him. That's why she cried a ton when she called him and asked him to talk. I agree with your point, though.
      I personally don't know what to call my situation, but back in 3rd grade, my classmate constantly flashed himself at me and while we were at an assembly, he grabbed my hand made me *touch* him if you get what I'm saying. I was punished because the teacher saw me move my arm extremely quickly, and she only came over to tell me my mom came to pick me up, but she saw my arm moving quickly. She then told my mother I was doing something inappropriate in with him when she literally saw me trying to get away from him. He even tried to touch me and I grabbed his arm and threw it away from me. All 3rd grade students were there, but no one said anything to back me up. I was then whooped by both my mom and dad. I was even whooped for saying his name and explaining what happened. I just shut up and allowed that day to pass.
      Fast forward a week later, he cheap-shotted me on the back of my neck for not allowing him to touch me or let me touch him. My eyes were bloodshot red and he even put me in a chokehold. Ever since then, I stopped telling my parents much. I'm a victim, but no one cares since I'm a male.

    As someone who was also groomed/sa’d by his uncle Im sorry to think of a further consequence of just mental scarring. A whole other being being sourced from that misery and looking over your head. I hope they can make peace in someway and that the aunt rots.
    It’s not fair that you’re so young that you can’t even be fully aware or have the experience to unrepress and confess about the horrors you’ve gone through for well over a decade. My damn uncle fled to Mexico, he’s safe in a way, and my confession to my mother was a teary mess in a damn mall food court.

    His mom played and is still playing such a huge role on how messed up he is. This guy was so neglected that even now he is doing whatever he can to be accepted by his mother. After finding out he was abused by her sister, her first reaction was to kick him out. Then instead of getting him help and making sure he is cool with everything, she makes a unilateral decision to bring the kid over, adopt him and get him to call the son dad. Even now, she doesn't care about her son and how her actions impact him. She is going through life simply thinking about herself and what makes her feel good.
    Stories like this is why I have a hard stance of not getting into serious relationships with people that are damaged and/or are still connected to a/the source of damage. These kinds of people can never truly heal and just inflict damage onto other, forever repeating the cycle. OP's inability to see his mom as the toxic person means he is damaged to the degree he either accepts abuse because it's normalized, or he feels the need to fix abusive people by plying knight in shining armor. Both are bad.

    As an autistic adult, I also had an IEP in school. It means an Individualized Education Plan, with David's probably including elements that he has a translator help him work through his lessons, have psychological accommodations for any sexual abuse trauma he might still be carrying with him, and other specialized accommodations like further counseling to break the bad habits that would be inbred by him being dyslexic or suffering something like attention deficit disorder.

    I feel like we can blame the OP's mom and dad,. they abandoned them but recall when you were 14 and tell me if you can take care of a baby with a problem. When I was 14 I was thinking about how to get into a good college and get girls and sh*t like that. I will give them a partial pass because of that. And the rest is the most f*&K up I think I have seen and I have no comments other than I hope there all going okay. (Note I may be wrong and feel free to tell me your opinion.)

  • @qq84
    @qq84 Před 9 měsíci +7

    Your mother is the problem. Your mother doesn't wish she could save your, she's angry at you because her abuse/neglect got uncovered because of you.
    She kicking you out only proofs the point further. She only talked to you afterwards because she got (rightfully so) a lot of heat for kicking you out.
    You need to press criminal charges against you aunt. - That also works in Taiwan.

      Pretty sure it’s not easy for a boy to say his aunt is abusing him like that. 1. Incest 2. Female on male r is treated as a joke 3. Abusers often coerce victims not to tell with threats

    Wait but isn’t a 16 y/o boy stronger than the average woman? Why couldn’t he fight back
    Edit: some good insights in the comments on the psychology and circumstance behind how this could happen

    • @MxHavmir
      @MxHavmir Před 9 měsíci +46

      there are a varity of factors for why people get SA'd other than who is stronger than who.
      It's why "not fighting back" isn't considered consent.

    • @Jafar545
      @Jafar545 Před 9 měsíci +25

      We don't know their physiques here, and OP also said that it started when he was 13. So it's likely that he was still physically weaker back then and was traumatized by it, which quite possibly could have led to the development of some kind of anxiety disorder. Those can be pretty severe, to the point where he wouldn't be able to rationalize the strength difference anymore even when he would have physically outgrown her.

    • @darcash1738
      @darcash1738 Před 9 měsíci +7

      @@Jafar545 Yeah that is true. Even at 13 you could make the case for the average being stronger based on pushup benchmarks for a woman vs 13 year old boy, but it's not like we can assume for the average. And you might be right, maybe it hadn't even crossed his mind as a possibility if he was weaker at 13 and by 16, she forced him; just too blinded by his past abuse to rationalize the strength diff. Maybe he wasn't even stronger at that point either.
