Great job Drew. Can't helping remembering you as a pre- teen. You've come so far and I'm almost as proud of you as your Dad is. Every video I see has been better than the previous and I'm confident that improvements will continue.
Right 6 numbers on Saturday night and I am buying one of each.
Thanks so much, Mr. Mitchell!
Great review. I purchased my Caesar Guerini Magnus Sporting in 2007 and since then have shot countless registered skeet tournaments and a fair share of Sporting clays and have never has a single issue with the gun. I believe it's a very under-rated gun.
Thanks for watching!
Drew and his team are extremely knowledgeable and provide exceptional service. I purchased my Caesar Guerini Magnus Limited Edition Sporting Shotgun with a color case hardened receiver from him. It's a magnificent piece of Italian engineering. I highly recommend engaging Drew and his team at Orion if you are seeking a fine shotgun.
Beautiful Shotgun's 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
I was surprised to note that Zoli did not make the list. I shoot the Zoli HR and find it to be very well balanced and a pleasure to shoot. Regardless, the review was very informative.
I own one K80 and one Blaser F3, but both stay at home. When I go for sporting clay it is always my Zoli Z gun I take with me. More hits and even more importand much less recoil.
I agree... I own a few brands and my Zoli is the nicest and shoots the best. I almost don't want to shoot it because it's so nice but, it's my favorite gun to shoot so I feel foolish not shooting it.
FYI - I have the 100th anniversary edition... it's one sweet gun.
Enjoyable video. Surprised DT11 not shown since it is popular, a good shooter, quality and good value. Wouldn’t think you would end with Kemen. Kolar definitely should have been mentioned over Kemen since you targeted the video to the American shooter. I realize you are a Kemen distributor and not a Kolar distributor but still. Kolar is American made, precision manufactured, balanced, customizable, a great shooter, a good value and Kolar has greater service. Steer us to our best gun and not your best sale.
I use a mossberg 940 field with 28 inch barrel for semi and a browning citori cxs for over under. I like to use one then the other especially if its a 150 or more clay tournament.
I also have a beretta a400 extreme plus ko that shoots like a dream.
Every gun listed is an outstanding shotgun. I love my 725- I've had more fun with that gun than any others in my collection. Thanks for the fun list!
As a K-80 competitor with a TSK stock. I have shot every gun on your list except the Kemen. I absolutely love the K-80 performance. Kemen needs to get into one of the high grade dealers so that it gets seen and demo’ed at events through out then country. I also have a 725 sportier 20 gage as my backup gun, so in love them as well. Loved the video.but your are unlikely to convince me to give up my 391 gun for doubles.
Excellent review, thank you👍🏻
Surprised the DT11 was not in this review ?
Awesome review. Most non biased I’ve seen.
I'm glad to see a review that doesn't cater to the big names only. Your review has me looking at Fabarm Semi-auto for a club raffle gun over the Bereta A400. The Kemen is a beautiful gun. I always wondered how the service would be handled on the Spanish made gun. The K80 is one hell of a gun, but I recently decided to become part of the Kolar family and I'm glad I made that decision. Loved your review. Very thorough and you show a gun for every level of experience and budget.
Thank you for your positive feedback and for watching! Feel free to give us a shout if you have any further questions on the Fabarm L4S or any other gun for that matter.
Nice review Drew thank you
Notable guns certainly, but the list is incomplete without the DT11, Zoli, Perazzi and Kolar among the higher end standouts.
Thanks for watching and for your feedback!
Our intent was to produce a top 10 video with selections from different price points as to tailor to varying levels of shooters.
Had we included all of those guns, there would certainly be more than 10. In the future we will look into doing a top 10 of only higher-end guns.
That being said, we did consider the guns you suggested for the last 3 slots. We ultimately chose the Blaser F3, Krieghoff K-80 and Kemen KM-4 over the ones you suggested because they ranked higher than the rest in a combination of three criteria: reliability/dependability, point-ability and value (price).
Kemen fantastic handling gun reliability not so much . K80 point ability not so much and reliability average. Blaser just lacks substance.
Where does the Kolar excel?
If i had the funds, I would def give Kemen a try, ive shot K 80s and i thought it was awesome, Blasers do not fit me well, but IMHO, i would go with a highe end CG Ascent style, love them midribs!
You two gentlemen are not only entertaining but very informative.😊
I look forward to your vidios every week.
Glad you like them!
@@orionoutdoors Being a Rookie to these...I had no idea about some of these fine shotguns. I was brought up in the lower class guns as I did not have the money...and my Dad made me Work..there was no time for shooting guns on his 10k acre Ranch...we worked...no play..
I did not expect to see a Kemen as your top gun, as you mentioned they were popular shotgun in the U.K.
I used to have one years ago.
But I now shoot a Zoli.😀
They are showing guns I have never heard of??? And I am 73 yrs old...Wow!! Guess I am way behind times..I will just stay with my Brownings and Peraza and Kreghoff..
I like your reviews. Would you please give me your opinion on what would you choose between the Beretta Ultraleggero OU (12-28) or the Beretta 687 Silver pigeon Walnut OU (12-28)? upland hunting
Excelente video..!!
Very good review would love to see a Kemen up close have never seen a high end Spanish Shotgun.
This by far is the most informative CZcams I have ever watched.
Thank you much for your time.
بہت خوب صورت گن ھے بھائی جان واہ واہ بھائی
Yes,my thoughts are this is the Best tutorial on 10 guns I've ever seen. Son you knocked it out of the park good job. The lighting was superb but you do need more light on the gun at all times when explaining each gun showing them off ,you know making the gun pop with wood grain and lines of the gun. Brilliance of engraving with light
on the weapon. You explained in detail like no one I ever watched
I'll be back for more. Enjoy you just made me comfortable watching. And I own three of these top guns and love to shoot them.
Thank you for watching and for your insightful feedback! Will work on adjusting the firearm lighting for the next video.
@@orionoutdoors you guys are spot on I enjoyed it
Great opinion piece, I agree on most items save for the Fabarm guns, I’ve had horrible issues with the ones I owned.
I’ll stick to the A400 models since they’ve been flawless in my use.
Great channel i’ve just subscribed !
Thank you, sir!
Great review by a great person and dealer
Thank you, Mr. Yates! We appreciate the feedback!
Very informative.
GREAT video
Very good review of guns👍 I’m viewing from the uk and we have nothing so unbiased
Thank you for watching from the UK!
very very beautiful all guns
Barretta DT-11 is also a high end gun (see Olympic skeet). The SKB 400 series is a best bang for the buck for semi auto.
Love my Beretta 687 EELL sporting….
How does the new Rizzini BR110 Sporter IPS stack up to the Fabarms Elos N2 Allsport? I'm curious as this new Rizzini has (mostly) the same features and price as the Elos Allsport. Thanks.
Looking to upgrade from my browning grand prix, I've tried the blaser f3 twice now and disagree with you on recoil of the f3. The f3 recoils significantly less than my browning, im pleased with my performance with the f3 on the skeet range 24/25 and 25/25.
Thank you for the feedback and for watching, Paul! The f3 stock characteristics seem to either fit individuals very well or very poorly. If poorly, we have found that users perceive more recoil. Their tapered drop dimensions and pitch angle is a bit non-standard. We offer our customers an Orion Exclusive stock which has unique dimensions that we feel fit a wider variety of shooters and the feedback has been very positive.
Interesting Video.
My comment on your choice of Auto. I do not shoot my Beretta 391s often, but I do not think I would like the release on the left side. It might be ok for hunting. When shooting Trap, Skeet, 5 Stand or Sporting Clays your left hand stays on the forestock. The gun is rotated to insert the shell. When rotated back the right hand is in position to push the release. Reaching around with my right hand trigger finger to push the release does not seem natural. There would be a lot of crazy movement to try and release with your left hand. Most of my 10,000 round this year have been fired in my Beretta DT10, Beretta SO4 or Beretta 682 4 barrel Skeet set.. Them old Berettas just keep on shooting.
Drew would love to hear your opinion on Longthorne shotguns grate job.
My son shoots a Beretta 694 that he LOVES for trap, skeet and sporting clays. I could not afford the Kolar he was eyeballing initially.
Is the CG Magnus Sporting 12g better than the Miroku MK38 or are they both very similar?
No Beretta 694? It's THE king of the mid range
I guess its not the most reliable, the reviewer states reliability is a major consideration in his choices. Ive been looking at upgrading and the 694 was on my shortlist, but after reading there's been a lot of warranty claims with faults on the trigger and ejectors.
@@blackadder1966 and broken forends
Leaving out Perazzi and ogling over Kemen renders this video less believable. Digweed shoots Perazzi and Faulds shoots a Caesar Guerini. And no Beretta semi in the mix? Makes me wonder exactly what criteria were used in this “evaluation “.
Obviously alot of commentors have their prefered brand and are not open to others and alot of people dont understand a field gun that cost $600 is NOT made to shoot thousands of shells every year they are made to shoot a few thousand in its lifetime. My Browning Citory only lasted 3 years of heavy shooting before having play in the reciever and needing firing pins replaced. My Perazzi has fired countless rounds with no play, no spring issues or pin issues at all. The perazzi is alot more expensive but it is truely better than having 10 Brownings in my experience.
...do you have any experience with the upland gun co...RFM guns from Italy....???
Just got a Caesar Guerini summit sporting. It’s trigger is so much better than Beretta 694 and Browning 725. I upgraded from a Browning Cynergy.
Choosing a Kemen over a Perazzi is crazy. If one of your selling points is spring durability go with coil springs. There are reasons why leaf springs were chosen. I’ve never blown any mid ribs on an mx8. I assume it could happen. If you can’t afford to have maintenance performed on a certain gun don’t buy it. Resale on a Kemen would take a hit compared to any of the higher end guns mentioned.
Good review .
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Interesting review, I would like to know your thoughts on the Beretta 694 please
If you are still interested we do have a full review of the 694 on our channel!

Is a browning good for a beginner shooter?
I am surprised Kolar didn’t make the list? Can the Kemen be ordered through you? How do you order one?
Thanks for watching! Yes, Kemen guns can be ordered through Orion Outdoors Co. We have a shipment arriving in the next month or so and can also place a custom order. Both the Kolar and the Kemen are, to some extent, a blend of Perazzi and Krieghoff characteristics. Being that the list was specific to 2023 and the Kemen will be making its debut in its next generation design this year, we chose Kemen over Kolar.
No complaints on my br110 Sporter x I bought from you
Thanks for watching and thank you for your business!
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen I found this video asking myself if you could probably give me an estimation of two "Sister-Shot-Guns". All the three parts of both of the guns are marked wit a "1"/"2". On the side of the guns is the engraving "J. Braddell & Son". Both of the guns come in a leather case. My father bought them in the early 80ies. If you need more information, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you very much for your support and best regards from Austia
I want a Kemen. KM4 32" left hand. Wanted one for 20 years, they disappeared. New owners or are they just expanding.
Thank you for watching!
Kemen of Spain is under the same ownership (3 generations), however there is a new U.S. importer - Pat and Drew Lieske. They have established Kemen USA and the gun has been specifically reconfigured for the American shooter. We do have some 32 inch left hand models on order that are expected in the next few months. Keep your eyes on orionoutdoorsco.com for availability!
Drew: Very well done. Please let me know when the Kemen arrives.
Will do, Jerry!
And Perazzi? It is the shotgun most used in the Olímpica Games by professional . Why will it be ?
K80 for any clay shooter is on any elite list so really
I prefer the spanish AYA
And the Perazzi Hi Tech???
Muy hermosa arma amigo saludos elegante
No entiendo nada porque no se inglés pero miro el video porque si entiendo Algo sobre escopetas .
Doing research because my local gun club opened some skeet and clay fields. So many choices! Do I go for an affordable one or a buy once/cry once gun? I can't decide.
Keep looking… you will find it. Don’t be rushed.
Beretta silver pigeon is a one and done for life shotgun o/u abou-2500 $ yea yikes. But if u hunt a lt 20 auto Remington 1100 for the best bang for buck out there bennelli and browning makes great shotguns.
Esa escopeta me refiero a Kemen es un ESCOPETON .❤
What about ultra X's or miroku38?
Unfortunately, those guns are not readily available or imported here in the States.
@@orionoutdoors thanks :)
Very doubtful choice, put on 1 place 2023 antique gun, and passing DT11 and Perazzi, both have more medals than all of the 10 in any disciplines.
Surprised Perazzi is not on the list.
Thanks for watching our video! The Perazzi is very comparable in concept and design as the Kemen. That being said, the Kemen ranked higher in our three determining criteria: dependability/reliability, pointability and value for money.
Did I hear EYE Talian? Come on!
''Best semi-auto...Fabarm'' *closes video*
Also the grips on the budget/entry level Beretta O/Us suck feel like nerf gun grips.
I used to get screamed at if I wore a ring and handled shotguns.
Ever heard of Kolar
fabarm l4s might be a good value ...but better than a benelli ....i doubt.
Dudes wearing a polka dot shirt
In the USA you won't likely find a Kemen. Only beginners will shoot a Fabarm semi auto. 99% will be shooting a Beretta semi auto
ha i shoot the kemen km4
What about Perazzi?
My Ceasar Summit 20g, while mechanically fine sports the absolutely WORST metal finish. It was returned once (my cost for shipping only but loss of use of several months) and within weeks, finish turned to ABSOLUTE CRAP.
Perazzi ; Antonio Zoli, Beretta , REnato Gamba, Perugini Vizini Browning; .... so many big gunmakers are missing in this video.... Top10? i dont hink so...
ANTONIO Zoli
Merkel 201e i caesar guerini tempio. 😊.
I can't see Turkish shotguns. 😢
Aga kesinlikle çok yanlı bir video yapmış
🇪🇨🇪🇨👍
Who’s paying 10k for an ENTRY LEVEL BOXLOCK
Avoid CZ shotguns. Bought one brand new, it was defective, CZ CS told me it would take 10-12 months to replace. You can't be serious !
Noone uses a semi auto for sporting clays surely 😉
you'd be surprised, even among the top dogs out there.
NO ONE uses a Fabarm semi-auto though
.
Not the gun… the person behind the gun.
The guy holding it doesnt make it last longer...
How could you tell yourself a 2000$ shotgun is a “beginner” gun? That’s kinda silly
yeah unless they're really wanting to shoot competition a lot i often recommend something cheaper. And if i want to breach the 2K mark i often recommend the Browning Cynergy
The worst list I have ever heard.
"Entry Level" holds up $2500 gun. 🤦♂️
Entry level when it comes to dedicated sporting clays guns made to handle the abuses of a high volume sporting clays competitor, yes. In the market of brand new guns, there are limited options under the $2k price point which are built specifically for the sporting clays competitor... we're talking 5,000 + rounds per year.
You are not objective.havent you seen Turkish shotguns invasion all of the market ????
i bought a yildiz 699.99 i have shot thousands of rounds no problem fit and trigger is awesome. my friend paid 2700 for his o/u he shot mine and was in disbelief that he just way over spent on his gun
You call $6900 for a shotgun a mid range price gun? I take it that orion outdoor company only caters to the snobby well endowed bank account holders because the average person can't afford such a ridiculously high price for a gun.
Thank you for watching our video! This top 10 list caters to the dedicated sporting clay shooter, as explained in the video. As in most every hobby, there are a wide range of options. The guns we discuss are all lifetime-use guns made for the high volume competitor.
I'm an average guy with an average income. My gun was around $13,000. I'll spend money on guns but I don't spend money on much else... I dont even have cable or internet.
