I have a Citori CX with adjustable comb and have been satisfied with it. It does well in the field and on the range. Great video. Thanks.
The Fausti Caledon actually has Optiwood. It is not coated or dipped, but lasers are used to burn pre existing grains deeper into the wood and make a permanent enhancement to the appearance of wood grade. Beautiful gun!
Overall, an excellent review. I have both the Rizzini BR110 Sporting (12ga/32”) and Beretta 686 SP1 (12ga/30”) - both are excellent. I have around 12K rounds thru the 686, without an issue. I shoot the Rizzini now - I tend to favor the heavier Rizzini with its 32” barrels. Thanks for the review of less costly, but still solid & dependable shotguns.
I just bought a Browning Citori CX white (stainless receiver). I'm chomping at the bit to get to my local 5 stand range!
Very nice review (not too wordy) and all good choices. Great to see competition in this market segment.
Rizzini fan here as I am a lefty shooter and like a left handed cast with an adjustable comb--both available as reasonably priced options on the BR110 Sporter. The matte black finish looks sharp in my opinion and is reminiscent of higher end guns, and the lifetime warranty is a big plus.
The Rizzini wood to metal fit is acceptable for the price point but not equal to higher end guns. Mine is a 20g, 32”, mounts and swings beautifully.
Very informative. I inherited a like new red label 50th anniversary 28ga and haven’t shot it yet. Would it have made the list if it was still being produced?
Thank you.
Any chance you can review SKB sporting 30 inches barrel shotgun 90TSS sporting please ?
I have a Silver Pigeon was my first trap gun. I now shoot the Browning 725 pro trap and really like that. For sporting clays my Beretta 690 Black is also very good. Nice review.
Thank you for sharing! All are exceptional shotguns. We appreciate your support of our channel! 😊
Great video! Does anyone have any personal experience with the Fausti Caledon or BC100? Beautiful guns, but there isn't a whole lot of information on them here in the states.
I have the regular Rizzini BR110. It is my favorite 12 gauge o/u. I replaced the butt pad with a Limbsaver slip-on to solve my recoil pain. I hit more clays with this than any other quality o/u’s I have shot. I’m lefty and made no other modifications.
Thanks for sharing and for watching our video! Out of curiosity, did you order your BR110 in the left hand configuration?
I bought a 686 silver pigeon 2 years ago. I only shoot enough trap to get tuned up for grouse every year. Last year, mid season, I saw that there was rust forming from under the bluing. The bluing actually lifted and flaked off the rib. When I looked alot closer I saw pitting in the receiver end of the barrel steel. Very poor quality materials and finish. I've have my 1100s for 50 years and never had problems like this. Beretta QC was asleep when this gun was made. I'll never buy another Beretta gun of any kind. I just bought a Citori Hunter. We'll see...
Well done! Ignore the trolls. 👍
Bought a new silver pigeon 1 sporting less than a year ago 2800 rds though it .awesome gun
.
Not too much talking for me. I think it was just enough information. Thanks for great videos. I look forward to the next video.
Mossberg 500 series has shown that aluminum receivers are perfectly fine.
Look forward to the over $2500 video, but hope you don't go right up to the over $10k. I am looking for an adjustable comb clays gun, 32", preferably under $7500. Not sure if such a thing exists. Had a Silver Pigeon back in the '90's, but sold when I changed to registered skeet for a 682 tube set. Years ago was a member at DGC. Shout out to Pat Lieske for some of the best lessons and gun fitting I ever had. Love the adjustability of semi's but with ammo prices up want to get back to an OU to retain hulls for reloading. Thanks for the informative videos.
Thanks for your support! I think you'll very much enjoy our Top 10 over $2500, sir. Also, we will pass your compliment over to Pat!
The Faust L4 is a hammer of a gun and only $3500. The 4-locks lug system is very durable. Adjustable comb, 32” barrels, and extended chokes. Worth a look
top of these is MP234 $1800 Baikal, cut the pla pla, when mass production is cone to be under $1000.
Love my CZ redhead, dollar for dollar you cannot find a better gun/deal
Browning SX nombre 1 ❤
Excuse me while I take off my sunglasses...........Ooops, I don't have them on! Imagine that?
Thank you for your feedback! We are always looking to improve. We were going for a more cinematic approach with just the subject(s) lit but will try to address this a little differently in our next video. Thanks for watching our channel!
Ranger over and under made by winchester. I have a proto type first ever made befour it was mass prudeced I inherited from my great grand father. I all so have one mass produced fron the early 30 s well made and dependable mour dependable the any other over and under ever made My self put a good thousand rounds through both the proto type and the mass produced I stopped using them very sentemal saving for my grand child to teach him how to hunt and fish
Rizzini should of been placed higher than the citori
Beretta silver pigeon 1 sporting looks cheap. Wood looks manufactured and engraving is blurry. Beretta has no interest in making the silver pigeon 1 the quality of the 90s Onyx. I’d buy the Rizzini over the beretta any day.
Too much talking.
Thank you for your feedback! We are always looking to improve. What would you like to see more of? Thanks for watching our channel!
It’s a “review”. Did u expect singing?…. Hand puppets? …magic tricks?
Should he just stand there and move them around? Lol. It's a review video.
Not a Beretta fan Ive had the 686 ejection issues safety would stick and the bottom barrel was at least 6 inches off Beretta has terrible customer service
I purchased a Rizzini BR 110 Sporter 12g, 30" barrel with adjustable comb earlier this year. I have about 3500 rounds through it. I really like the matt black barrels as I have no glare issues at all. Rizzini did a great job making an affordable clay bustin' gun.
