In this video, I will be talking about shapeshifting and specifically 5 facts about shape shifting in Native American culture. Native American shapeshifting serves many purposes. Native shapeshifting is traditionally believed to play a role in healing and Indigenous shapeshifting plays a role in protecting indigenous communities as well. Indigenous shape shifting is the transformation of a human into animal form. Native American shape shifting is a way that people can become fully in tune with their natural instincts. Shape shifting Native American occurs during dances, rituals, and other ceremonies. Shapeshifting Native American isn't just about moving as the animal would, it is about becoming the animal. Shape-shifting takes a special headspace for the shapeshifter. Shapeshifting and a spirit animal have similar meanings and lessons to teach us about ourselves. While spirit animals and shapeshifting may be similar, shapeshifting and spirit animals have drastically different experiences to offer us and each holds a unique place in Native American culture. As mentioned earlier, shapeshifting for healing is one of its fundamental purpose as well as shapeshifting for protection.

Thank you for sharing this, it's very informative and show a beautiful part of your culture. This was shared by a therian/otherkin as a topic for discussion and as one myself I personally to this very much! We have various terms to describe our experiences which may be psychological or spiritual as we do not ourselves to the human experience. Is there actual physical change? fair and just person . So was sitting with my grandma and was feeling especially close and also had my medicine keeping me pretty awake. I’ll never forget her saying to me.. “😮why is your head sitting up like that?” And I could feel my forehead and top of my head in a wierd way as she was saying it. Not sure what it meant or if something was happening to me in fro t of her. Just reminds me.

As a Native-american, I had a feeling my Uncle, (who died of cancer) was a shapeshifter. on our reservation, we have a gas station that was really far away from our house. My Auntie drove us to the gas station for treats. And when we went to leave, my Uncle told us to just leave him there and he'd be at our house before us... LOW AND BEHOLD, WE DROVE HOME IN 5 MINS AND HE WAS THERE BEFORE US... (keep in mind, he was 75)

I am friends with a shape shifter, I've seen him transform into several different animals, and insects. He always has my back if I need it. But only in the woods. I have asked to see him in his true shape, but he does not comply. The active camouflage he uses, I see clearly. No one believes me, yet that doesn't discourage me from doubting myself. My great grandmother was a Salem Witch, and this is why some believe I'm able to see things. But I'm totally amazed and confused.

@@moonstar3833 he looked as if he has "active camouflage" on, it blended with the trees, but shiny kinda. I saw him jump from one, to another. Then back to same tree again, and when he landed in the next tree, he was a squirrel just looking at me. And there aren't any, or many at this location, due to the predators.

I know this seems outlandish, but I wasn't on drugs or alcohol lol but why am I the only one that's seen this when others do go there to fish and hunt for flint...I am the third person that has seen the "Stikini" which is just down the river from there. I don't think they are the same, but they are close. I get a bad feeling from it, but I don't from this shape shifter.

Here in Washington state there are “ closed “ ceremonies by the native Americans here within the Quinault Indian nation in what are called WOLF TENTS. I know this to be true what you said. When a Native American brother shapeshift they actually are called the protectors. It is an absolute belief that this is a “ gift”.

While it is true God does move in different ways. For example Jesus healed people in different ways one person He spat in the ground, took the mud & healed a blind person, another He simply spoke & they were healed, another He told to go wash 7 times in a river & they were healed. Remember that, though all of what You said is true, a very physical shapeshifting is also possible. Many magickal cultures and sorcerers around the world are able to physically alter that entire bodily tissues in order to trully become the animal they connect to. It's very hard art to surpass the laws of physics but what You mentioned are indeed very first steps to gain a physical transformation, but the process is very complex and takes years to achieve. Every culture has it differently though so I'm only speaking from my (Daoist and Indonesian occult) point of view. Love from Poland 🥰😍

I came across shapeshifting not too recently, but I was unconsciously unaware that there are the culture, aka native americans that does it as well. I use shapeshifting for spiritual warfare for war in heaven. I have many forms i take on to accomplish the tasks. Thats when i realize that the Spirit that native american serves is The Lord himself. Same God in Bible. Watching this video makes me feel relieved that Im not only one. Im not even a native american by blood but I am part of culture through spiritual blood (soul history).
I've had dreams where I have shape shifted into a bird. Earlier dreams I was trying to fly, and my most recent dream I transformed into a bird of prey (raptor type bird-perhaps a hawk or eagle or owl) and I was flying in a school of life, and then found and exit door. Once I found an exit door, the stairs below where made of wood and then on my right was a large, orange glowing rabbit and I finally felt free. There was more to this dream, but in correspondence with this video I think it resonates.

I have seen two times in my life seeing shapeshifters. One was an white owl shapeshifter and the other one was a lady who was 45 years old and shapeshifted into a lady who was 18 years old. I would go walking in a National Park and spirits would say, would I like to have powers, even to shapeshift but i said no.

I have a little story: In the beginning of my relationship with my girlfriend I was kind of paranoid and afraid of her, and thought she was a tiger that was after me, through some experiences. It turns out she is a tiger, chinese zodiac wise. Later we grew more to each other and we were ourselves more and more, and then I saw a vision in my eyes of two tigers having fun, playing with each other in the water. Those were us.
I'm Inuit/Eskimo. My people had always relied on Shamanism before Christianity arrived to the Arctic.
My great grandmother was a Shaman, or as we say, an Angakuk. My mom said that she was able to transform into a bird and travel to help other Inuit and heal those in need.

When I was younger I had a dog team. An eagle would follow my team to watch us for awhile.
I have lots of bright energy and large groups of birds always fly over me and it is awesome. While spending time outside. My outdoor cats are always positioned around me with me in the center.
I’m German, Irish and have a little bit of Hopi. I am mostly white and was raised as a white person, but I’ve always felt a very very strong inclination towards magick and shape shifting. When I was younger I would regularly get so far into the headspace of a wolf, that parts of myself would transform (such as my eyes turning golden, being able to suddenly walk on all 4s comfortably and even run in that position, and shifts in my facial structure scared the crap out of me when I saw it in the mirror for the first time LOL). I could do it much easier back then with much more dramatic results, but I’m trying to get back into it again. To my knowledge I’ve never full body shifted, but I have had experiences and weird memories that make me question if maybe I just forgot about it. All of my lineage is deeply steeped in magick, with my entire biological family being witches. The Irish have strong connections to the fae and nature, the Germans have powerful shape shifting lore and connections to “hedge” or “folk” magick, and obviously my native side also has strong connections. It certainly has helped me when I’ve had experiences, such as dreaming in my wolf form, feeling the wolf underneath my skin, etc, because the wolf is male. You see, I was born biologically female but I’m transgender and identify as male, which obviously a lot of people haven’t liked. They’ve called me delusional, along with a whole slew of worse things. Knowing the wolf is also male has validated me quite a bit, despite peoples constant hate. I cannot fake myself in wolf form, and what I am when mentally shifted, dream shifted, or otherwise, is what I truly am. And it’s always been a male wolf. Now I no longer care what others say about me, or their opinions on me being trans, because I know the truth about myself and don’t care what their feelings about it are anymore. I was either simply put in the wrong body by accident, or as some sort of lesson that I have yet to learn. Maybe one in strength, as that seems to be what everything has been trying to teach me. I’m rambling now, but yeah. -T

This is news to me. I'm not Native but in the past few years I've been racking up quite a few friends, acquaintances and studying, and whenever I come across shapeshifting it almost always has a negative connotation, as with Skinwalkers and so forth.
Thank you for making us video, I've practice spirituality and studied negative American culture and techniques medicines since I was in grade school since middle school. I've become a master at lucid dreaming and I used to practice shapeshifting. I never fully formed or anything, but I got really close one time before I jolted and wasn't able to get back into the groove recently. I've been sitting more on astral traveling but I've been studying more on this topic lately, is there any other tips or tricks I should know with practicing?
My friend is native american and he said to be a shapeshifter you have to be given the ability at birth...be born with nagual blood (Not sure about spelling). Very interesting...i have seen his eyes shapeshift, ive seen a wolf face in his pupils. His spirit guardian is the Wolf. I notice his face go greyish shape shifting in many of his photos, very interesting. For some reason i can see it but his family others around him dont notice.

I feel like I'm formless or shapeless during my meditation. To become formless or shapeless, I have to raise my vibration so much during my meditation that I can't feel my physical body anymore. I'm aware of my energy field, but when I expand my energy field during my meditation then it feels like I become a formless/shapeless being. That's when I can't feel my physical body anymore. It's like the entire universe is within me. I feel myself as an infinite being at that moment, and then there is an infinite amount of energy available for me, especially if I can stay in that state forever. That's why I think shapeshifting is possible. I believe what I think is what I can become, but only if my vibrational state is so high that I'm experiencing myself as an infinite being. Then I think it's possible to change my physical body with my thoughts, but it requires a lot of practice.

Shape shifting is most likely done by entering a deep meditation as meditation=magic and more time awake=deep meditation and the deepest meditation=dreamtime !

Thank you so much for this. There really isn't much on Shapeshifting. I have recently started with the assistance of psilocybin - completely unplanned. I didn't know what was going on until it clicked - and I was reminded that a shaman told me about 6 years that my spirit guide is a Native American Medicine man, and to look into shape-shifting as it's in my field. 6 years later, I'm doing it! It's the most extraordinary, spectacular feeling I have ever experienced in my life. I filmed it on Friday (it's now Sunday). I don't feel comfortable sharing publically but I'd be happy to share here I think, or in a community, if you have one. Thanks again. Your spirit will re enter your body😂shape shifting is a complete awe inspiring experience. Have done it many times. While in animal form your whole environment changes, if you pay close attention you can hear people speak write a journal about your experiences. I had a dream Once where I got on all fours and a snow leopard walks right into my body. I went to the nearby pond and looked into the water. A leopard talisman on a necklace floated up to the surface and I knew I was to put it around my neck. Afterwards I went into the hut where the community Elder was sitting. I don't know what he said but he seemed to confirm whatever I just went through. He gave me one of his best horses and I had to go three days and three nights without food to wherever the horse might take me. He said that I would have a vision and then I woke up

So I had this happen 3 times. In all three times, the animal chose me, as opposed to me choosing the animal. The first was a cockroach, which I believe, was showing me where I was in my spiritual evolution. The second was a wolf, which I believe was because I was protecting the space and area around my friends as they slept. The third was a flying animal, not an eagle, but something else. And I flew over the fields. That one I can't explain or maybe shouldn't. Looking forward to more as they come. It hasn't happened for years and 2 of the 3 times it happened in a very sacred place on the planet.
I'm also open to learning from the elders. So, if there are some called to this post and teaching me more, let me know.

I tried meditation (imagining, feeling visualising ) how certain animals hunt and their perspective. I just started yesterday, and have already seen various animals (wolf, tiger and owls) when I closed my eyes. I was wondering if it is normal to feel muscle pain or wanting to move whilst meditating in this state as I am starting to feel my hands twitch and also feel my body jolt backwards?

I set an eagle free in a dream and then he flew above me and shaded me from the heat of the sun and he also grew larger.
In a later dream, the eagle led me out of danger at night. I followed his screams because it was night and I couldn't see him. He led me to safety.
My most recent eagle dream was I found an abandoned eagle's nest on the side of a high cliff (I didn't see how I was able to get up to it) it was full of eggs and began to hatch immediately upon my arrival. I sensed that the parents had been killed. It's always golden eagles.

Even my mind set, and body has gone into the age regression process to look more like an anime girl. That is what I see when I look in Mirror anyway. I see a cute anime girl looking back at me and I am like what the bloody hell. Is this Really happening to me and is this freakin real. What the hell happened to my reality.
Been dealing with these synchronicities from earlier childhood and it’s been using anime and anime girls as ways to get my attention even when I wasn’t looking for it or interested in it or you knew about it.
Back then I was more interested in about finding a dream job. Having a nice car. Nice house making big money nothing else mattered back then. Even if I found out what anime meant back then I didn’t give a damn about it because I was more interested in what I mentioned above.
Over time Anime revealed itself to in the form of synchronicities to me and told me what it was. It slammed me into the wall to make sure I knew what anime girls and magical girls were. Then over time the more I had to watch it off and on, I would start having fantasies and desires to be an anime girl living in anime girl worlds. For many years I was able to push it away and think it was nothing more than that.
I don't like anything about the Magical Girl Part because she is from Puella Mgi Madoka Magica multiverse. I seem to be an unintended victim of forced contact from Kyubey to be a Magical Girl. I am sick of all this suffering on top of suffering on top of suffering. I don't want to be a Magical girl knowing the suffering they must put up with. Magical Girls are made to suffer.
Please help me, because I don't know what to do any more. This is driving me into complete madness and I don't want to end up in no dam Phy ward again. I had a bad traumatic experience. I was put in there over a deviated septum last year in Feb of 2023 for 2 and half weeks.
What they did to me was just inhuman. I was having issues breathing and one day the head nurse and its helper came in the dark and ejected me with two syringes at the same time on both sides of my ribs. It felt like an alien abduction to me.

And I've had dreams about shapeshifting into this brown wolf and meeting a black wolf. .Also before my uncle passed, he taught me a little about the spirit world and shapeshifting(he was a shaman btw). But he could not teach me everything cause as I said he passed. And I want to learn more but to do that I have to visit his wife and tribe if they are okay with it, but my parents don't understand and won't allow it.
