The Gewehr 98 Mauser Rifle on the firing line during a marksmanship competition. The rifle has stamped markings on the receiver stating "Waffenfabrik Mauser A. G. Oberndorf 1918." It's a 100 year old war horse that is still kicking.

I have the same rifle and only 89 serial numbers apart. Crescent moon shows that these rifles spent time in Turkey.
