Yes I agree with everything said about Zurich. I've stayed 2 months in Switzerland, in Aarau just sbout 30 minutes train ride from Zurich so I often go to Zurich just to visit and enjoy the beauty of the city. How zi wish I could go back there.

Loved Zurich! Had a lot of fun swimming in the river! Loved the lake, the swans, the mountains and the city itself. Prices are skyrocketing, a small capuccino at starbucks 7 francs, or 7ish euros and a burger with a coke at Burger King, 13 euros, and that was the cheapest. Dont think that prices get anybetter if you go to the dely in the super markets, theree the cheapest you will find is a croisant for 5 euros haha. crazy!!! You said the Zurich has more water fountains than any other city, i doubt it. I live in Rome which way biggeer than zurich and we have a water fountains with very clean and high quality water everywhere in the city.

I live in Zurich, and did not know that Lenin used to live here nor that Einstein studied at ETH. One interesting fact about Zurich that you didn't mention was that the art movement "Dadaism" was created here.

Thanks for the beautiful video.I have been living in Zurich for a long time, it's beautiful, a lot of goodies, the transportation system is the best and always on time, but the apartments are too expensive and almost unaffordable.

mate average salary is 7820 CHF. You can easily afford an apartmenr
@@SH-io3li nah that's not the average but it's the median, which is not the same thing. Half of the people earn more than 7820 CHF and the other halb below 7820 CHF. So the most people don't earn 7820 CHF but it's exactly the value in the middle between the lowest and highest salary. And even if you earn 7k what many people do, the most people from switzerland would still say it's too expensive and so many swiss people are living in the outskirt of zurich. Compared to countries like spain where they almost go every day in restaurant, the swiss people are just going to restaurant 3 times in 1 - 2 months because with that high salary it's still expensive for us. So the swiss people learned how to live an expensive life but at the same also to save money (for example going to restaurant not that much).

Very interesting! My great great grandparents came from Switzerland and the Swiss German dialect has been passed down in the family to my dads generation. I live in the US and visited Switzerland for the first time last year. I’d love to move there if I could. It’s the most beautiful and peaceful place on earth.

There is a mistake about the the age of the Neolithic site in Zurich. Considering that the Neolithic period in Switzerland was between 5500 BCE and 2500 BCE, it cannot be 11000 BCE !

If you want to visit the real culture of switzerland than I would go to the mountains and not in cities. Cities are of course also nice, but mostly they are a bit international and so are they not typical representation of switzerland. If you want to visit the two very beautiful cities, than it is zurich and geneva. Also in fact zurich is the biggest city in switzerland. But zurich is more like the international and multicultural representation of switzerland. I'm from there too.

Yes, high salary as you said. But the cost of living is so but so expensive and all is So Expensive there .. From food , transportation, etc , comparing with other nations ... so at the end is the same or worst 😎..

no, you’ll get 5900 CHF for a qualified, but normal job. If you are well paid, you can earn 18.000CHF for example.... otherwise you couldn’t afford the high lifestyle (living close to the lake , driving luxury cars etc). On the other hand, in Zürich you’ll work youself to death, as the pressure is high and the working hours are the most. By the way - like in every city- there are poor people with less opportunites and low salaries, of course. Many greetings from Züri 🙋🏻♀️
