Maam what is the right year or semester for a 3 year LLB student to do internship as the 2020 batch is not having much time between there semester 1 and semester 2 because of delay in exam of MH CET due to covid. Can you please guide.
HI, I am Tanay Mandal ,this year I will take admission in 3 years LLB. As you told BCI has clearly mentioned that for 3 years law student 12 weeks internship is mandatory ,there are some college that says we dont give internship although they are affilated via BCI. Will it be a good choice to take admission on these colleges?

The opinion below is totally my personal experience and I'm a recent law graduate from GGSIPU.
I totally disagree on the point of free internships. Law students don't need to work for free, if you can get an internship that pay can pay stipend go for it. May be not initially but if you have some internship experience and you are looking to switch in some other law firm then you can get internships that can also pay you stipend as an intern. The women in this video is not correct according to my opinion, don't think the firm's or advocates don't need interns. They need interns for the paralegal work like filings, case briefings, legal research and many other things. Interns help the seniors being more productive with other works, which otherwise they wouldn't have time for if they were doing these paralegal works, so hopefully you got my point.
I would only suggest to work for free if you get a good branded law firm, in that case you will have to manage because their brand would be more important on your CV than stipend. So choose your internships wisely and in starting like 2nd & 3rd year try to get internships and try to get meaningful and internships with good exposure. I would also suggest not always go for the stipend, do you DUE DILIGENCE before accepting or declining any offers.
