One thing I noticed is it’s barely anyone out there on the beach 🏝 which I love. I HATE when it’s crowded. It’s just me and Elohim (GOD) out there. *Sigh* one of these days it will happen. 🥰😉 Glad that you and your loved one had a good time sight seeing!! 😁

You should absolutely add it to your bucket list - as a matter of fact, Floripa is the one place we tell people they have to go when visiting Brazil now 😆 Like Marcos said, it's very safe, family-friendly and plenty of beautiful and peaceful places for you (and God) 😊❤️
If you like idilic empty places, try Lençóis Maranhenses Park, or the beaches of Alagoas (Ecological Route), surrounded by coconut trees. I've been to both places in my country. I love Florianopolis, but the beaches in the Northeast region are much better.

@@ourmine2349 I'd definitely recommend Floripa, in my opinion it is the best place in Brazil to live.. And I'd also suggest you to check out Balneario Camboriú and Itapema. Amazing places near the ocean.

@@sophiaotelo3433 Floripa tem todas as paisagens de todas as capitais do Brasil em um lugar só (dunas, cachoeiras, montanhas, enseadas, baias, lagoas), o que a torna uma cidade única. Meus pais ja rodaram boa parte das capitais do Brasil, eles afirmam que Floripa é a mais linda mesmo assim. O vídeo está incrível, mas não mostrou nem a metade da real beleza da ilha

Show esse video parabéns. Só faltou a indicação do Floripa By Bus. Passeio maravilhoso feito em ônibus aberto, que passa por tudo em Floripa e para nos principais pontos turísticos. As guias são maravilhosas e o passeio muito especial, eu sempre faço questão de recomendar.
É bem legal mesmo, mas como estávamos lá durante o começo da pandemia, eles não estavam fazendo os passeios :/

Where do foreigners mostly stay?
I think the most popular areas in my opinion are: Jurerê (north of the island), Lagoa (by Lagoa da Conceição), Downtown and Novo Campeche :) Out of those, the only area we didn't stay in was Lagoa but we probably will check it out next time we're there!

It’s southern Brazil, very European. Santa Catarina the state is the best in Brazil and I think Latin America frankly. It was settled by Europeans. Economically very advanced. Thus society is more advanced. Has some favelas but nothing really really like other places. Rising tech culture here. It’s less diverse, more educated. The south is refined. Is it safe to travel there? Can you get by while traveling just speaking English?
@@gracey5512 Santa Catarina is considered the safest state (low crime) in Brazil and one of the most beautiful. The English language is understood by some people but not by the majority of the local population.
