Totally agree I love episodes with Dodongo! They need to have Dodongo specials were they just sit down with him and ask him questions have him tell stories and film him going on escapades.
Dodongo is living up to his fans' expectations without even trying too hard. A true legend.

+sikokiller12 The games were all 3 minute calls. Every time you checked your email on it (x-mail) it would be a 1 minute call. So when the bill came it was probably 150 pages of these. Dad found the ridiculousness of it hilarious.... but still made me pay it back with a part time job.

Great episode. Met these guys finally in Mesa at the game on expo. They did the robot with my daughter and I. Just really nice guys and Jay is pretty freaking good at Tekken, we played a few times. Hey Billy if you read this I still got that SNES storage case and enjoy the Munsters vhs tape/voltron toys. Retropalooza bound.

That Blockbuster NBA Jam is a legit tournament game holy shit! I played in one of those tournaments when I was like 8 years old. The only game they had in the tournament was NBA Jam and you played 1v1 against another person. Winner moved on to the next bracket. 1st place was a new car and a trip to hawaii. I would have definitely picked that up
Couldn't help but notice that copy of Lucienne's Quest in the glass case at Freaks and Geeks. Makes me feel a little grateful I managed to snag my copy, but unfortunately I paid 50 dollars more for it than what it was in the case. In all honesty if I waited any longer to get it, I probably would of paid more to get it. Still for a store in a house, its very neat and organized.
I forgot about this show, it was sooooo long since the last episode, its good to see another episode of one of the best series on you tube

Loved the point about game chasing not always being about finding something rare to be successful. It's about the experience. It can be a fun way to spend a day, whether you find something or not. Who you go with can make a big difference, too. When I go out, it's not about what I hope to find... but rather to see what I find while exploring.
Big ups for the Lords of Thunder music usage. Such a fantastic game. Was that a shout to the Lords of Thunder podcast, which I saw on the Final Bosses website? Hmmm.

That NBA Jam Blockbuster case brings back memories. Used to rent so many SNES and Genesis games there. Entered the competitions at my local store in 1994 and 1995. Blockbuster was once actually pretty cool.
One of my top favorite episodes. Can't exactly say why but I love the way it starts and it feels really chill.
Great episode! Snatcher music sooo good. The cool thing about that sealed Xband is that you can keep it sealed without much thought since it's unusable now anyways.

Glad the footage was safely recovered from the dead HD. Almost made it to Freaks & Geeks last time I was in the DFW area but I spent too much at Game & Movie Traders in Cleburne. It's ok though they let us rummage through their back room & hooked us up with 10% Discount for buying so much.

+The Game Chasers Yep, you really don't & we were dealing with a normal store employee not the owner mind you. We had been to that store previously (before they moved locations) & told her of how great of an experience we had before. There was a pretty big pile between us & were asking if she had a better copy of Actraiser on the SNES. She was like I think we have 10 extra copies. Go in the back & pick out whatever you guys want. It was an "Alright, Shrug" kinda moment. We found games not out front also & grabbed what we wanted. At this point the store was already closed. She was really cool & didn't try to rush us out or anything, & then gave us a discount. She also told us about Retropalooza & handed us a flyer which one of ya'll had dropped off at their store! A+ experience I would recommend Game & Movie Traders of Cleburne to any retro game collector.

I though it was very cool of the Freaks and Geeks guys to let you have their surveillance video for this episode. I'm also glad you found a way to restore the data from your busted hard drive although I was kinda looking forward to more drawings like the ones when in episode 21 you lost a memory card on your trip to Las Vegas. God you guys ares so lucky to have all these finds. Here in NYC all the retail stores are over priced and the flea markets are too upscale for video games, and the one that do only have Xbox and Playstation. It sucks.

Used to have a couple that sold games at a local flea market for cheap. Sad to say they're not there anymore and the person that took it over wants $10 a nes game for stuff like silent service and to top it off there's a reseller that has a building up front every day so they buy whatever is good and price it for eBay
