Tbh I didn't even think about the fact this would coincide with Michael's birthday when I started posting these member spotlights this week... but hey it's great timing, so happy birthday Michael!
Each day this week I posted a video like this for each member. I thought this series would be fun to make because although Michael was the obvious star of the group, it's nice to highlight each member and what they brought! You can find other brothers best moments on my playlist I made for this series.

Folks say MJ was so talented, but talent is an incorrect word. There's lots of "talented" people, so many in fact that talent is dime a dozen. MJ transcended talent and raised it to a level--- supernatural!!! Most certainly the rarest of gems.

...I think that you're on to something Jessica - there seems to be a correlation between the sensitivity and compassion of a person , with their passion for music, or the arts in general.
Not a hard-fast rule, but an indication of some sort. Definitely true in the case of Michael - huge heart, and huge soul!

He's 2 years older than me and I remember growing up watching him and how amazed people were but my brothers and I used to laugh seeing this kid our size dancing better than any human but he put soul and funk in it and it was funny to watch because it wasn't normal it was different, unique, ground breaking and goals. Amazing.

but l remember playing with the
complete set of Hot Wheels
even had the gas station shot
the cars out around the track
in the basement, but what made
it very special was playing with the Hot Wheels and listening to the Jackson 5 on the radio
at same time, l think the songs
l remember the most was something like ,
"One bad apple don't spoil
the hole bunch girl" and "Ben",
and "l'll be there".Sorry to talk so much but it was one of the few highlights l had up to that point,

TheRoShow actually when he was little, he was the only one confronting joe, his brothers called him crazy for that! He would throw a shoe at his father cause of the beatings and say that if he kept beating him, he wouldn't perform. He sure had some hood in him especially as a kid😭

This kid was an old professional soul before the age of 10. Amazing and sad at the same time. Michael was, and still is, treated as a commodity. From his family to his estate and everyone in between. 😪

He was sent from the high with gifts aplenty to show everyone how to do it and he did it to the best of his ability. I know it sounds crazy to think but it will be a million lifetimes until we find anyone that can come close to him. From his very 1st breathe he became the greatest showman to have ever lived.

This was LOVELY! I ENJOYED every second of it. MJ at any age is mesmerizing! He's just one of those kinds of performers that catches your eye and he's all you're really looking at. He had us under his spell---he had a certain kind of "je ne sais quoi" that set him apart---he was just born with it. He was funny, cute, handsome, sweet, insanely talented & giving. I feel sad that he never found true love in his life.

As a little kid, I was so fascinated by The Jackson 5. So much talent, showmanship and fun!
I forgot his b-day is in August, same as mine, back then when the Jackson 5 performed, it felt like christmas every time I would see them on television....I truly miss the J 5.

It makes me sad from the part where he says to Dick Clark that he is not "shy" to what society made him fear the most. He was truly wonderful throughout his entire life. Rest in peace, forever in our ❤️'s.
Michael jackson was born to entertain he was a professional at a very young age.
I think the clip at about 3:49 is very telling. Michael famously wanted his voice to stay youthful and versatile and was very soft spoken. I bet he remembered that interview question for the rest of his life. Shame that the interviewer tried to imply to Michael that his talent would fade as he got older.
Quite the opposite, and he became just as big if not bigger than The Beatles. Michael adapted to his changing voice in a very impressive way. He was so versatile with his voice yet also made it instantly recognizable. I remember a similar interview moment with a young Venus and Serena, but their dad interjected and encouraged them rather than let the interviewer play into their insecurities (or plant insecurities where there were none to begin with).

Yeah he was a king of Pop. And in his life Lisa Marie married him and her dad was the king of rock n roll. And both of them passed away because of drugs. I had read he told Lisa Marie he didn't want to go like that and then he did. Also in both cases a doctor was accused for giving them too many drugs. When I heard on TV he passed away I was in total shock long live the King of Pop sadly missed. He was great entertainer. He was only 50 when we lost him and Elvis was 42 both to young.
