A good alternative for softwood in the plaza is to use the small decorative topiary trees you find in the plaza originally. They spawn lots of softwood and then you don't need big trees taking up space there. And thank you for the hardwood tip!

Thanks for the tip. I need hardwood for friends for crafting projects but hardwood isn’t as easy to get since it doesn’t spawn as much but having more trees that spawn hardwood closer to you is great.

Loved this video. I needed that clarification with wood types spawning from specific trees or not. Would you be able to do a video on pebbles. I didn't have many, don't know where then generate and really want to make a zen garden but it requires crazy amounts of pebbles 🥺

Pebbles come from digging holes. You get soil, clay or pebbles

I hated all the trees because they kept blocking my view. Especially when seeking out critters to feed. Forest of valor and the Forgotten lands was the most difficult to maneuver around due to those stupid trees.

Yes, you can do this trick in any biome. Put about 5 plaza trees and get rid of the others.

Oooh I added more trees to my forest thinking it would spawn more wood, but all it did was spread them out more and make it harder. 😭 Glad I can finally yoink them out, they were annoying

Some of the preset original trees are bigger than any you can place. Frosted heights snowy firs for example. Much taller. Dont delete just shift or shuffle them around somewhere else

Wood spawns in specific biomes. Check the collections to see where They spawn. I also recommend planting 6 trees just in case

You have to remove all the trees in the entire biome. The ones on the other side that are blocked off as well. Do that and then collect the wood that dropped over there by using the well trick. After all trees and wood are gone, it will start spawning under the trees you place :)
