Pls don't even mention kante in the same sentence as caicedo. He has a lot to learn. He plays back pass a lot even when Chelsea are chasing the game. He's got sp much to learn so he can help the defense line better, and also make passes into the opponent's half more.
Yet the pass to Reece to set up Jackson’s winner was a world class forward pass from caicedo…

Poch is massively underrated. He is actually improving players across the team. Us fans are all clamouring for him to move on but forget how dismal last season was under four (!) different managers. Difficult to say that any other manager would've done better with this squad. He had recognised that the squad is young and mentally fragile thus shielding the squad from criticism by taking the blame. Other managers with the so-called "winning mentality", as we so desire, would've probably hung these players out to dry in the media either to save face....the team needs time and more importantly Poch needs time!
In my opinion I think caicedo deserved MOTM but Palmer also played well so I’m still happy

This Chelsea team is far from the finished article. Dealing with a glut of injuries and youth has meant flashes, but no semblance of a team. Not to speak of new ownership and a club being rebuilt from scratch... imagine what the manager has dealt with behind the scenes.

Caicedo -Enzo midfield combination is terrible…caicedo plays base on his players trusting that central area to him & in turn trusting his forward players utilising the ball perfectly….imagine the 1-2 pass to James in the build up to Jackson…kind of pass from world-class midfielder

Ever since Enzo went down tbh I love the team more. Caicedo came to life and he plays so different to what he does when Enzo is around. Marc has played great in midfield and them embracing more of a leader role is a sight to see. No way we're firing Poch man. Let's go blues💙

Negativity infesting some Chelsea fans contributes to expecting Sterling to 'pull a rabbit out of a hat' every game.
Sterling, when his confidence is high, is truly unplayable.
He has the talent, experience and leads by making things happen.
His £350k a week salary tag has been a mill stone around his neck.
It saps on-pitch concentration energy, that's better saved for match performances.
He's one of a team and it's unreasonable to expect him to do it every time alone.
An easy answer would be convincing him to take a significant salary cut, but no professional player can be expected to be taken seriously, if agreeing to that sort of fantasy land solution, just to get impatient fans off his back.
More than a few Chelsea 'greats' have taken a couple of seasons to be consistent, but not all were on high salaries like Sterling. . .
True to his word, he has recently come back stronger and proved his worth by getting the equaliser against Notts Forest. If he scores again against either Brighton or Bournemouth, that will hammer home his point.
