Honestly been looking for something like this as a modpack. This is already a good selection of mods but if I could add something, it would be The Graveyard mod. I think it suits this modpack.
Here is a list including the one I made Trepidation Hunting Monsters: The Witcher Modpack Forge lab's modpack And there is one more I remember in 1.12 but forgot the name
I'm glad you brought these up, people are missing out on the thrill of what they do in-game. I added these to make raising a village more difficult. I would suggest also adding the Butcher's Delight mod and another similar mod where the mob you kill will not drop their items until you carve up their carcass. EDIT: sadly the 1.18 version is no longer available for some reason. I would also suggest Habitat mod it adds some dangerous plants especially when accidentally stepping on them. Aging Mobs mod also makes already difficult mobs harder to defeat when they transform into other mobs, some villagers can also become hostile.
Of course we want this modpack published ! I just love hardcore and themed modpack like that, quite hard to set up ourselves. I do that myself, currently working on some themed modpack. Tho i struggle ‘cause i can’t fix some issues...
I think you should call it bloody road. And i think you should try to add some dark magic mods or maybe some normal magic mods but change the config of some recipes that requires you to sacrifice your blood or maybe your pets. And btw there is a mod called majruszs-progressive-difficulty it's really good mod that adds a bit more difficulty like bleeding
@@bstylia14 actually i tried it in my modded server with my friends it really is a good mod that prevents you from being too op the more stronger you are the more hard the game is
This might be one of the best "How to turn Minecraft into an X Game" videos I have seen. Not only did you go into good detail about what mods to download, but also what adjustments to make. I really enjoyed that you added gameplay as well! Thank you! Would love to know if you published this pack!
If Im being honest, this is beautifully terrifying and makes me wanna try it then my mind goes "What if we F1?" F1 Hides the UI/HUD of the game, it's like you don't know which hotbor is your map, your sword or your torch etc., And makes this much more cinematic since there's no HUD!! Which will make me feel anxious! ooh I love it already! and was thinking of adding mods such as Tough as Nails or/and First Aid, I mean, if it comes to difficulty they are my favorite ^^
Thinking of a terraria style modpack with progressive bosses that require you to obtain certain items/accessories prior to the fight. Unfortunately it would be really difficult to combine mods into a balanced progression system but I’m leaving this comment here if it inspires. Maybe 1.19 will bring out some really good mods for the concept, considering the change in world height and generation.
I think you should reduce the rate of hostile mobs spawn instead of increasing it, not only it makes the player lower their guard for a bit and builds tension making the encounters more scary. But also more mobs can easily increase the difficulty in ways that make it frustrating and making the player angry is the last thing you want to do in a horror game.
I'd say go for it, the pack looks interesting. I particularly like the unique atmosphere. Can you imagine making a 'haunted house' on here and playing the game "ghost in the graveyard" with friends? lol
Removing the soundtracks, and thus making the game silent if nothing is happening makes it even more nerve wracking when a sudden noise pops out of nowhere...
it would be great to see all this mods and config in a modpack, please do it, i admire the dedication that you put on your videos btw, keep up the good work!
I think if yoy fleshed it out this would be a very popular modpack. The only modpacks on curse forge for 1.18 are vanilla style ones, so I think this would do really well. Also, please continue to update Allusiveness! Its the best for 1.18! Only looking would be a cool addition for that:)
Zonko's Monsters, Sons of Sins, and Scape and Run Parasites are good contenders if you want to go all-in on the monster department. Though S&R isn't very up-to-date. Edit: Fish's Undead Rising, Rotten Piglins, and Whisperwoods also come to mind.
A few possible problems related to perfomance here for people using lower-end computers. You'll need a good amount of RAM in order to use all of this resource packs together (8 or higher). Also, you'll need a powerful graphic card to combine all of this mods and resource packs with shaders. (~RTX 3060 or similar). To obtain a good experience using less RAM or graphic/cpu consumption try using less view distance since you'll be applying a lot of fob, use less resource packs and use mods that increase darkness without using shaders. A few mods that will be cool to add: Wild Update mod (The Warden is scary), Ambient sounds, RPG stats (to balance difficulty and start with less hearts), enhaced celestials for blood moons, creeper overhaul and mods related to survival issues. This modpack will be amazing!
@@knxll270Hi, I have an rtx 3060 and if you put a good amount of resource packs + shaders + mods + datapacks + the bad performance of 1.18 you can have a huge fps drop. Of course it depends on which resource packs you are using, but the ones that have custom animations are more difficult to run. Maybe your game runs well when you start playing but if you do some farms with a lot of entities you'll see huge drops. I can't even run the modpack "Mineshafts & Monsters" without having random lag spikes or just lag in some places. Using just a few resource packs and shaders shouldn't be a problem, I also play like that.
@@jaumedameson Yeah your right especially of the performance on 1.18. For the lag spikes it might be because of the lack of ram. For the fps dropping in certain areas i recommend getting a mod that helps with entity crowding. I forgot the name of the mod sadly but hopefully this helps.
The ambient music could be just changed into like, fake noises, where you'll hear random sound effects but it isn't coming from a mob, but the ambience, like maybe a fast paced running noise, and maybe a sound effect from a mob, like a horse dying. Or it could also include like quiet, eerie, and uncomfortable noises like a little wind noise in the background. Or if you want to play psychological horror then you can add random iron golem footsteps making the player think there's something to protect them, even when there aren't
Definitely publish this! I would love to play it. It’s totally my type of horror. It would actually be pretty fun to see you do a 100 days vid with this like you did for the apocalypse one if you got the time.
Honestly when i think of mods that add horror to Minecraft i think of the hellforged version of lycanite's mobs plus the author is working on porting it to 1.18.1. but imagine this pack with hellforged and no redux😰😰
Since Weeping Angels are literally the only movie monster to ever invade my dreams and scare the crap out of me? I'd say you already made it too scary there but brother you went above and beyond! I could not play this but I think you did a great job!
@@bstylia14 The sound effects were quite nice. Does it take much to learn how to replace those? I would love to add some into my own modpack sometime. Playing with sounds is like my happiest memory in early game deving XD Like I legit recorded my own attack and special EFX dialogue in my room. Wasn't always great but I still have some that are playable and they make me laugh to this day, even the cringe ones.
for anyone who doesn't like the mobs exploding you can edit the way every single mob dies. i recommend having creepers set to fractured blood and skeletons set to blocky, that way they fall apart like the skeletons from skyrim, and when creepers explode it'll be alot more disturbing. i left everything else on ragdoll (which is default) because thats what i prefer but i just wanted to let people know that its very customizable
I say you should add it where the UI automatically disables and have it where the blood spots are the only way to tell if you are close to death. Then you can bump up the scary factor with having it so you need harder crafting recipes and you can see them form ONTO the crafting table physically making it so the Player is essentially throwing things onto a crafting table while surviving the horrors of the world. Similar to some horror games where you usually don't know your condition unless you pause the game into some special menu for status or some creative way like a watch or a phone but in this modpack there can be so many ideas maybe even have players make a device they must check to SEE their current condition and maybe even add some quest with a quest book for the players to eventually escape their condition. ( Maybe the end game can be something like the Player gets sent to the real original Minecraft. ) Overall this modpack is very amazing I can see this being a popular modpack for the community.

For the nights minecraft has a dig 3 blocks down and put 1 abov your head. Dark wood handled it way bater: before the next day arives you have to difend yoursealf from something.
