When connecting the points, you only have to click the points that you want to connect, you do not have to drag them to each other. Thank you for the tutorial!

You can also add extra waypoints by left clicking an empty space then joint the lines together
This also works to 2 way paths. You just have to make the connection one way and then make the connection again the other way and the line will turn blue. You can also use this to remove connections.

Wow this is excellent! I usually disable this mod (I just always install all the mods available from the in-game mod source) because I never knew how to operate it. However with this fantastically simple, yet informative and easy to understand, “How-To” guide I intend to try using. I am an older fellow and it is hard for me to figure this stuff out on my own nowadays and a lot of tutorials lose me as well. This was perfect with just the basic presented in a step-by-step format that is perfectly legitimate and informative. Thank you for helping an old man out!

@@FarmerCop If you liked 1, you will love 2. A lot more control over your vehicles, cities and routes. Kinda skimpy on mods but more added every day

Any idea how to use the loop feature? (and if more than one vehicle can use a route at a time?) I would like to use this to create traffic on a specific road during gameplay.
Yes, so sadly the loop feature only works for when you are using the pickup and deliver or pickup and sell functions. So adding traffic can be tricky, you could record over the top of a route tons of times so a vehicle would just keep following the route until it reached the destination at the end of the long route. And yes you can have as many vehicles using the same route as you would like

Hi, the engines of the machines stop after they reach the point , oh and by the way I don’t sit in them, they go by themselves. And nice tutorial.

4:50 Even the expert may do it wrong ( I think). You just left click on the first node, then click on the second node. I don't think it need to be that close.
7:08 Again I don't know if because I in the future and it change but you only need to left click the first then the second, the direction will follow first -> second node. No need the whole "Drag".

Very Good Informative video and love this mod! I have a tip I just discovered if you hit the right control key on pc, you can see the lines on the road to check for small missing connections. I spent hours trying to find out why my one route was not working and turns out by accidently hitting the right control key i could see line paths in some areas of the map easier. To re enable the dots is the same right control to view again.

It was pretty entertaining to watch you struggle with how to connect the nodes when it is as simple as clicking one and then the other instead of dragging them overtop of one another. It's like you were "accidentally" making it work.

I've seen videos where the narrator shows views from high overhead and can zoom around the landscape and show aerial views. How can I get into the mode of travel and views ?

I exited out of that menu on one of my tractor. And I cannot figure out how to get it back on?

WHAT KEY BRINGS IT UP? ALSO HOW DO YOU LOAD A LIST THAT WAS GIVEN TO YOU?
Look at your key bindings to see what key it is set to, I believe default is L ALT and NUM 0 but that may be just what I set mine too, and I dont know the answer to the second question
Can I use an Xbox controller instead of a mouse to configure the autodrive routes?
You may be able to if you set some of the keybindings to the controller
why i cant drag the points, right click them but i cant drag them
i recomend doing the route with a pick up truck
Make sure you hold down left ctrl and then hold left click down on the points to drag the points around. Then to connect them left click on one point then the one you want to connect to

For routes, no, once a route is made you can get into any vehicle and it should all work

how do i make it loop infinately? im setting a track to have basically more realistic ai cars. they run the loop, but stop at the beginning of it. i cant figure out how to make it loop without stopping.
There is currently no way to make them loop forever

I am unable to move the waypoints around to adjust a course. I notice in this video that the waypoint markers are orange while on my Ravenport map I am using as a test and learning map the markers are red. I am holding the Lcntrl as I click-on the marks and they refuse to move - and I thought my cat was stubborn. What am I missing? Your video is very helpful but I am just unable to duplicate the simplest function.
If you do what your doing by holding down lctrl and then right click. Hold down on the right click and you can drag them around :) hope this helps!!
Just got started in the game and found autdrive and course play highly recommended I managed to get them downloaded and installed. They show up in the mods as installed but when you load ingame they do not appear with the rest to checkmark. Any ideas? You have some of the more informative vids. Ty
Courseplay can be a number of issues, did you download them together? If that is the case they may need to be unzipped to get a zipped folder of each, I would recommend downloading autodrive from the modhub directly and then download courseplay from the external site. And make sure they are for FS19 not a previous version, hope this helps!

what is the purpose of auto drive? why would I create an autodrive route? can you hlep me understand that?
Of course! In general if yiu have an autodrive route,lets say from the store to your farm, you can have a worker do all the traveling in the background while you work on other stuff

The default key to open it is left alt and 0 on the numpad, you can change the keybinding in the controls tab of the menu when you are loaded into a game

um where do you explain how to make a route?
you programmed the Map GPS drive path not the route. (AD Open Route Manager Command LCtrl, Lalt, Keypad 1 for me)

Sadly no
I hate the updated autodrive... Older one was so much easier to connect the routes... I decided to keep the older version. Why they think this is better I will never know
How to delete the complete path after the travel. Please
There is no way to delete the whole path, you have to delete each individual point

I'm thinking about getting this mod to add a bit of life to some maps. Just one question: Do you have to hire a helper to let the car run the route? Or does it run it without a helper?
It charges you for a "helper" when you activate autodrive, however, you can make the wages in the settings None so it does not cost you anything

How do you delete all the default routes ?
You have to click the delete button until all the way points are gone

I finally got time to watch this. Can you use this to add traffic to a map like No Mans Land? It would be great to add a little life to my map lol. Thanks for the video.
So you can make a lomg loop and set the vehicle to travel around it 8 times but then you would have to destart the vehucle after it finished. Ill play around with it later tonight and see if I cant figure a way to do an infiinite loop, ill test and respond back to you!
So I played around with it and I cannot find a way to make it feasible, you would have to set up a long route and every time the vehicle went all the way around you would have to restart it after every loop.

You just have to record them and connect them, watch the whole series

Make sure you install it directly from the in game mod hub
how do you delete the whole route and start over
Don, as far as I know (and this is my least favorite feature) you have to repeatedly hit the delete way point button tons of time until every way point is deleted.
The disk icon opens the route save/delete options. Be very careful. If you delete a route it will delete ALL routes that were under that save. Recommend you look at this video. czcams.com/video/R0tUTZoi8EY/video.html Hope this helps

Question, me and my friend loved this mod as we started to use it. But when we rejoin the server, we have to load the routes and it just breaks the game :/ How would you fix this
Could be a map issue, I have a map I play on that has issues saving the routes and causes issues when loading them back in. Sadly it may be that it is the map and it just wont work on a specific map.

I download it and unzip it in downloads but how do i open this? Wich button lol
