I lived 1 year in Lisbon, the first 2-3 months were nice. But the city is too expensive to live with the salary you get. And the food is mostly bad

Hello maam I please need some guidance I have a gap of 5 years because I was doing degree but I failed in it. Now I want to start fresh in any university abroad based on high school diploma. Please tell me how can I increase my visa acceptance I am concerned about my study visa acceptance due to gaps for any country either USA or anywhere in Europe which country would be best or what should i do?
I want to have my mom to Portugal from Turkey. She is old and lonely and depressed in Turkey. Do you think living in Portugal will be a good change of scenery for her ? I currently live in Germany but it's hard to bring parent here.

She is fluent in 5 languages and loves learning languages, so that's not a problem.Also she is fluent in English and I doubt the majority of nomads speak Portuguese including Yulia. I don't like Nazis like you.
