- Y'all asked for it, and we went back! I'm back home in Florida now, but filmed this before heading down. My friend Brian and I returned to the hotel dump along the river in hopes to learn more about what was going on here over 18 decades ago!

Just found you last week! Have binged through all your videos so glad there’s a new one. Enjoy them a lot!
Welcome to the channel! Thanks for watching. Glad to know you're enjoying them :)
It's crazy to see that old bottles from decades ago have survived with hardly any damage
It's really amazing!
The first piece with a grou,d lip is a salt shaker. Pressed glass is very pretty. It may even turn SCA.
10:27 croup is a cough yes but its a raspatory infection that mostly effected children and infants at the time
Wow you found a bottle with my last name on it woot
Oh no way that's awesome!!!
Ransom's hive syrup & tolu was a croup, cold, and cough syrup made with honey and balsam tree sap from around 1900
Yep. Tolu is a south american tree and it's sap used as medicine.
Didn't read all the comments to see if it was mentioned already but black square is a trophy base.
Man that is so relaxing watching underwater hunts! I love it
Glad it's relaxing for you! I enjoy them a lot too!
I was bottle hunting earlier and my cousin found a orange crush bottling works bottle and I found my first crock
I like the glass jar at 8:50.
Love the Ransomes bottle!
That patina on the crock is insane, so beautiful
I always loved finding bottles and antique shards on creeks and beaches but as a different "species" of collector i always saw them asmodern junk.. thank you for teaching me that they really are treasure after all! One sub for sure
Hey WILDKYLE love your videos - Especially the fossil ones. I am a fossil collector myself
Thank you :)
Hi Kyle! Great off camera finds! When I was younger, when we got bad colds and had a cough that was so deep down from the chest and sounded like a hound dog and a hard time breathing, that was called "Croup" and it was nasty. Super finds, the baby head goes without saying lol. The perfume bottles were a very nice surprise!
What a great spot to explore and find goodies because you know your gonna find something cool.
The ‘ decorative framework’ was a guard for a screen door
Check the heels of old shoes like that I have heard of people finding old coins that were hidden in false compartments. Thanks for the cool vid!
Woah! I never knew that! I'll have to keep that in mind from now on!
You guys found some really awesome stuff out there! That is just wild! But you wouldn't be wildkyle. if they weren't filmed its almost better this way, because they are all cleaned up and pretty! Awesome day Kyle!
How cool is it to see pieces of history! I noticed on some of the broken bottles, the embossing/words were still intact. I wonder if one could use a glass cutter and cut out the embossed part and make hangers or frame them or something. It's a shame to let them go to waste. 😊
Ohh yeah that's a great idea! Never really thought of that, but that could be fun!
I think that first very ornate bottle was probably a salt or pepper shaker
As soon as you pulled out the doll head, I busted out laughing!
If that place was near me I think I would be there any spare time I had... Its amazing, an old bottle lovers dream 😊
Would love to make wind chimes out of some of the old broken bottle tops! And mosaic pieces out of the broken dishes and things.
Watched this one last night Kyle. Thought it was great. Loved all the bottle finds.
Kyle and the haunted dolls….spooky! Figs are a heck of a laxative….must be the purpose of the syrup. Great video.
Such a cool spot! Glad you found some cool stuff.
Thanks Luciana! It was a great time!
Fun underwater hunt Kyle. You guys found lots of great items. Best regards and wishes to y'all !
That place is flipping cool , so much history to be found there , great video
New to you, but I sure hope you take all the broken finds with you. Love watching.
Sweet finds so glad you went back there 😮😊
That hospital bottle was a beautiful blue. I liked the soundtrack.
Hi Kyle, to clean those bottles really well from the inside without harsh chemicals fill them wiith newspaper flakes and fill all the way with water, let it stand for a day or 2 and poor of half of the water. Close the bottle with your thumb or the palm of your hand and give it a good shake. Then empty the bottle and do a rinse and check the result. Thank me later!
The flat rectangular thing you picked up first is a marble paper weight and it’s high end $$$.
Some beautiful bottles there, the perfumes and that last aqua square one are gorgeous, always look forward to your videos.
Perrigo is still a drug manufacture in Allegan
The ground lip small bottle from first dig is likely salt & pepper shaker.
Love your new finds. Really lovely stuff, guys! Be careful out there. Danger noodles and so forth. PS Nice music.
Those are some awesome finds. Glad to see a new video.
What fun. Glad your back on the bottles.
Thanks ❤😊
Cool finds.old bottles were stunning👍.i would have defenately take that iron thingy home.could be nice decorative thing in garden😁
Another fun adventure! Sounds like the hive syrup was the benedryl of the time! Lol
That ornamental jar (3rd one in the beginning) looks like a restaurant table sugar jar. Missing the top, of course.
The black object looks to have been an ink pen holder for a desk set.
Love the mini bottle and marble.. I have similar finds from a large river in WA state. I have a Bennington and toothbrushes made of bone 😉
Great collection of bottles, but I love the scrapper. Also, fig syrup sounds gak. . :-)
One helluva sweet spot! ♥
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lots of great finds!! 😊
Love the creek videos, gonna have to integrate some creek crawling into my schedule!
some beautiful glass there Kyle
I was just up in South Haven,Muskegon and Greenville and Ionia for a couple weeks. Found some pretty rocks in Lake MI. Not far from Allegan ( used to camp in Allegan Forrest when I was young.❤
I recommend take your old single sox and throw each bottle in there to carry. Love the fig syrup, common but thàts old! Tolu is very cool.
I live those 2 tiny perfumes you found!
Great video. My favorite was the flask you found first day off camera with the wonky neck and cross hatching pattern. That has to be one rare flask!!!
WILD!
Nice finds and place! Love that last bottle!
Loved the treasures but my favorite find of the day was the small rounded bottle at 8:45; with the little hold in the rim...i wonder what that was all about? Looks like your having a fun summer of treasure hunting!
Absolutely on the scraper!! Beautiful one at that.
My first ever from Michigan!
@@WILDKYLE Not the last!
Im a girl, but I can do without doll parts, beads, codd marbles, buttons, and stoppers for a looong while! Love the crocks. Nice amber ink. Wavy flask is cool!
What wonderful finds. You are so lucky to have places like that to explore and find antiques.
Hy Kyle i Love ink bottles too.hope you find gold or silver.
The black square thing almost looks like a hard drive lol
My parents got married in Alagan (sp) Michigan. In the late 20’s.
Great video. The old Ransom's hive syrup bottle is very nice.
Definitely my favorite of the day!
Some beautiful fines today Kyle really nice fines. It’s a shame that a lot of the crock jugs you found were broken but what can you do and I will be getting ready to pick up your album I have to hear it and would you autograph it if I sent it to you
Also that suspender clip looks like what was used by Civil War soldiers. Look it up a,d Ill bet $$$ it is.
Ohhhh very cool! I'll look them up!
Hi Kyle. The little Hobnail jar is a toothpick holder. Yes blown in a mold
Yep "Penny Perfumes"
The black shiny thing you found is the base to an old trophy....
With the decorative glass bottles, which are broken ( at the neck and depending upon shape ), you can use a simple glass cutter to score just beneath the “ shoulder “, of the bottle, gently tap and remove. You then need a Diamond file to smooth down the rim of your new drinking glasses, Kyle. This would be a fantastic talking point, at get together’s, of your collection. Recalling where you found them as well as a pretty cool addition to your kitchen , ( especially the bottles which have raised lettering). Fun hunt with some great finds! 😊🥛🍾🥃 Enjoy! Beware of the leaded glass though. It’s beautiful but does contain lead. ☺️ 🎉 Congratulations on the new album, by the way. 🎉
Nice finds! Are you planning to look for shark teeth or other types of fossils soon? I have a fossil craving after actually being able to go fossil hunting in a quarry this summer and finding two trilobites among all the squid... :)
I was born in Michigan. I would love to have an old Michigan bottle
Really cool finds from both videos! Curious what you do with the broken or junk stuff you find? Thanks.
You didn't keep the shoe? LOL Good finds!
Trophy base? idk kyle, nice n shiny.
The one with the screw top looks like a salt shaker maybe.
Take me with you! Lol
That black shinie thing looks like a battery pack.
Absolutely awesome finds 🔥👌 Question! When going under water in the rivers n creeks, do you typically need to do anything to protect from bacteria? Just curious!! Thanks! ☆
As you may have found out, Perrigo is still in existence. Might be under a different name now, but they are a major employer in the Allegan area. Allegan is pronounced more like Al i gun with the stress on the first syllable. My mom was born in Allegan County. What river were you on? Was it the Kalamazoo?
Screen door iron...
The black thing looks like a trophy mount
I wonder what that rounded object was @13:46?
Nice finds…I wanted to tell you about a stromadoporoid hotbed where I collect my jewelry pieces…couldn’t find any way to get a hold of you….lemme know if you are interested
Black rectangle - base of a lamp??
Do you sell any of your finds? I saw 1 I would love to have!
Lots of syrup of figs bottles in your excursions. People of the past must have been constipated a lot.
About a third of the way into the video you rolled a 'log' out of the way that looked suspiciously like a slender crock.
What town/county were you in or near?
The repetition music unfortunately is very distracting
