- They Left All of This Gold Just Laying On The Ground!
During the gold rush of the 1800s the sluice boxes and gold wash plants did not have the abilities to break apart clays. This means a lot of the bigger chunks of gold, that are dense enough to sink deep into the clays, are able to be found in creeks and rivers today where the old tailings piles are eroding.
On this trip i look for gold on Nugget creek using my gold pan and sluice box and walk away with hundreds of dollars of gold and little pickers!

Your front tooth is now made out of gold, but it must have a symbol on it.
You must choose either:
- pepper pig.
- bluey.
Peppa pig
Bluey
I haven’t been prospecting since last September and I can guarantee if my tooth was gold I’d have smashed myself in a face with a hammer and panned the eff out of it….
I'll take a Pepper Pig... Oink. .Oink.. Snort.. Snort
Bluey. She’s an Aussie. 🇦🇺
I love the hundred buckets challenge, very cool idea! Been watching from bucket one!👏👏👏👍👍👍
Sluicing for gold gave me the idea 💡 great series
Keep all the gold, tin and lead and give a weight of all 3 at the end of your 100 bucket event
That's basically what I'm doing except for the tin.
Awesome video man, the flour gold adds up but the chunkier gold is more exciting to find. I'm always excited to see what you post.
Mine your business 💪
I like both for different reasons
@@VoGusProspecting tru dat, tru dat lol. For me, if I'm getting 50-100 colors of flour in a pan it's just as exciting as getting chunky stuff.
Absolutely, those magic pans where you get 500+
@@VoGusProspecting hahaha yes! There you go talking dirty gold miner talk 😁
Good point about the specimens im going to start keeping a better eye on my heavys. 👍🏴⚒️
I think you need another no name bucket and another classifier and run 2 buckets at a time. You should nearly double your productivity.
I would do that! But I often forget to bring everything, like my scoop, water and an extra bucket
@@VoGusProspecting sounds like your memory is as good as mine.🤘
How long have you been doing this now, Chris? You should have it all figured out by now and have everything packed up for a rapid response for good weather!
Mark from Melbourne Australia
Holy smokes....mr chris thats some very good gold man...totally awesome man👍✨️💫✨️💫✨️australian gold is amazink!🇱🇺ive got a little bit of australian gold aswell...🤭 hihihi😂Gold ! Greetings from the Netherlands 🎉🎉
When u mentioned crushing EVERYTHING in the sluice I thought that was a GREAT idea. Imagine all the concentrates through the eons that didn’t have visible gold and people just discarded them! To this day there are piles of non visible gold across the world where placer mining has taken place.
Yeah man, I'm doing that as a stand alone episode
I admire Gadsy's commitment to the scientific process; maintaining a healthy scepticism until a hypothesis has been tested. "I think there are some sticks there as well." *tests sticks* Premium stickage identified. This is why you two do so well at this gold prospecting malarkey.
All gold should be measured in consumable foods 😂
Well, its a scale of sorts
Challenge is going great. Go get em Chris. Tell Gadzee to stop hopping around and get serious. Stay safe out there and gold bless you always
You hear that @buckshot ya got to get serious.
Seriously could be using those buckets more efficiently Chris, old timers did it, and has been forgotten over time, y I don't know when seams so simple
The 100 bucket challenge is going great! I also think that take is way more than respectful! 😮. Good job, dude. A grouse spot, I just wish my creek was a little less boulders and more manageable rocks like nugget creek. 😢
Cheers big ears
You get more gold in 1 bucket than I would doing the 100 bucket challenge.
Maybe, but gold is gold. At least you can get a little hey
@@VoGusProspecting definitely
That shirt Gadseys was wareing buckshot prospector was funny😂
He has the best shirts
You can buy one at my store if ya wantvone

Loved those chunkies in your pans, Chris. If I had enough of them I'd deck my smile out with such delights and, of course, there'd be a turquise and onynx Bluey!
Loved the ADHD Montage!
Been looking at some geological maps of NE Victoria and trying to work out how the original folding and uplifting from the west, plus the galcial effects you often mention, those that deposit moraine in and around the river systems and am wondering if you'd like to comment a bit more on these in relation to gold deposits you encounter evidence of, in your videos as you look for further gold.
Cool sluice shot, keep up the great work Chris, really digging all your videos lately
Nice haul!! Good job Chris!!
I keep noticing the Bunnings logo on the buckets and it make me associate their name with good times. I feel i need to go buy some stuff there! They sould sponsor this channel or something.
Very nice finds , enjoyed the video🎉keep it up 😊
Heck ya them chunky monkeys added up to a big ol heap of bananas (you said to measure it in food so….) great episode thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼 p.s. the bigger gold is farther downstream on an outside bend it takes a while for the clay to break down in flood waters and it’s moving fast so go downstream a ways find a good outside bend and get those bigger pickers.😬 (trust me but don’t tell anyone the secret eh)
Awesome video! Really fun to see all you experience and hard work paying off - and it really looked like you were having a gas capturing those chunk of gold. Wonderful video - and the weather looks pretty nice there! 👍👍
Yknow, if you're not finding gold with the superchamp pans, you can always take a frolf break! Crazy how chunky gold adds up fast, nice job man
Great video, as always Chris. I was wondering if you are going to be doing any hard rock prospecting?. Love your channel, keep your passion, and above all, do what you enjoy.
nice gold thank you for sharing the advenure and information.
There is nothing more fun than having your friend looking for the shiny and I think maybe you find more shiny when your friend or just maybe you find Les because you are having fun with your friend sitting back having a few beers hey you probably don't show on video but you know what I have fun with my friend and I drink a lot of beer and I still find it shiny so you two enjoy yourself that's what it is all about enjoy having fun drinking beer maybe start up a barbecue sometime while you're doing it fry up some chicken
@VoGusProspecting Where did you get those wire baskets from? They are amazing. The ones that go into the bucket to wash aggregate. Awesome video. Thankyou
Hey Chris, great video, allways good seeing chunky gold! Gold gods are smiling!!
@7:21 thru 7:34… what a fabulous shot.
I'm confused about what people are talking about. I'm on here watching him dig and finding gold. But everyone is talking about Bitcoin.
@@Frank-vx5pc Bitcoin? Don’t remember that in the episode but my attention span is not the best. Never mind I see the spam post now.
Still love watching your videos Chris. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Cheers
Really good going Chris. Good you have a creek that still has water. Slowly getting those buckets down. Well done mate 😁👍
You two's reminds me of the Aussie version of the old time American comedy team Laurel and Hardy. ❤
Thinking you on the right track, probably should have watched before judging and commenting,
26 👍's up VGP thank you for sharing 🤗
Thank you too
Gadsy, I'm pretty sure Chris just started his CZcams channel to cover for him talking to himself. Now he's got you doing it too...
Peppa Pig
We're all friends with the voices in our heads... well. Most of us are.
The voices tell me to do bad things
You know why they say great minds think alike? Because we all come from the same mind.
God
Thanks for the videos!
Big rock big gold, @Twotoes taught me that, cheers legends 👌
Can’t wait to see the new range of “We like chunky bits!” merchandise… 😆
I bet that Mick scored as much gold in half the time that you did Chris! He probably also scored double what Gadzee scored because he wasn't rock hopping!
Let's have an episode where you really move some paydirt just to see how much you can recover in a day?
Mark from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 Melbourne
It's a wonderful idea. But I'll pass. Honestly I have not get enough energy anymore to do more than 10 buckets in a day
Another productive day at the creek! Love your work fellas.
I always come for the gold but the best part of the videos always end up being two dudes being as weird as they want to be...
Well done mate keep up the challenge. I thought you had the water perfect on the 1080 sluice
Nice camera work on the montage. Also nice gold
That's what I like about Cris he is nuts like me 😂 hope you two find them big nuggets or just a lot of gold good video though keep up the good work 👍😁
Hello Chris, folded glossy paper, regards George
Born in Kyabram and grew up in Benalla, its an absolutely beautiful bit of country. Also spent some time out towards moyhu and by God is it beautiful out there, I always wondered if there was gold out in the creek we lived by.
That was great gold! Chunky chunky. Thanks for sharing
Great day on the creek with CHUNKIES.
Idea. Series on creatures you encounter on prospecting trips. Both dangerous and safe.
That sluice is set up 100% perfect in my opinion. 😊
I miss seeing fern in your videos :(
Cool vid, nice gold for that area!..
Thanks 👍 it's not the regular kind hey
Atta boy chris get that gold
*running after the gold* get back here
WOW that was a Awesome Spot to find Gold 😁👍🏻X💯😎 . SKK .
Hey mate good day bro sup with you awesome sauce video you the Man
Nice, that's about what I get dredging a 3" per day in WY
Imagine being sent back to 1875, and bunch of old timers watched and listend to you 2!
@VoGusProspecting where did you get your large classifier???????? 🎉
Mats crevice tools on Facebook
Chris.... My Grandfather was born in Wang... He used to blow things up....he was a powder monkey for the MMBW. should have heard his gold stories from Melbourne.
Thank you for the ADHD montage. Fantastic.
We all needed that after all the talking
good to see 3 of you again
14 mins in, I thought you said the Italians didn't wash properly 🤣
Aww man cant wait to buy a couple of your pans aye
Thank you chris for the montage of my condition lol
Cheers for the vid Chris, always good :)
It was great to see that Mick wore his special OZ safety thongs. They are are fantastic at protecting your delicate tootsies from those big nasty rocks.😜
Shapely pieces and who could objectively deny their beauty as measured in weight?! Gold! Ah! Always believed in your sale, you're indestructible! Always believe it! Simple abc.
Thanks Chris!
You said 1.1 and I was like "huh I was thinking 2", so I guess larger gold really does add up to more. WAIT! What about crushing the chunk of quartz and heavies?
Look at you Roughing it🤣👍
I gotta ask. How does one go about obtaining an awesome classifier like yours?
That wasnt a gold sinker , it is what us amwricans call a swivel keeps your line from twisting up.
Gday mate am so ready to come down under need to leave the states crazy here in USA
The only good sausage roll.. Is a homemade sausage roll.. Everything else is just sh!t & mostly breadcrumbs with something that resembles meat of some animal possibly from rats or stray cats... maybe even homeless people
Anyway keep up the awesome job.. Love the videos.. Take care & be safe out there guys
Dad’s reef please. I know it’s a gnarly long hike to get in there but…. I wanna see it
"That's about half a sausage roll." And people say Americans will do anything to avoid the metric system.
So, how many times did you bang your head against that log? I know I would have left the creek with some lumps on my noggin.
None, did fill my boot up though
A pleasure as usual 👋🏻🎩
Hey mate where abouts did you get that classifier??
MORE GADSY!1❤
I doubt I could get 100 buckets this season
Sure you can, you back might hurt, but you can do it!
Great content
Thank you 😊
Definitely a stick and not a danger noodle :P
Thanks!
No thank you!
Fat Bottomed Gold you make the rockin' world go 'round. (Take it away, Freddie Mercury)
good run.
Wasn't there gold already in his pan before he tipped the the bucket in? 12:08
Love some chunky gold
Me too, fat bois

Is there such places where can find gold in swamps and bouys areas because they say every where in world u can find gold even if it's even nano dots of it
The key is to know if your area has major geological disturbances. Like fault lines from volcano's.
backyard gold is good, too
Is gadzee a brother to that busted knuckles guy?
Ewww, lord no
haven't seen mick very much with you .
lol that man bit the stick like it was gold
Proper stick evaluation and assessment is extremely important for site inspection protocols.....
Hi there I am a subscriber and am heading north to the sunshine through Victoria Was wondering if you know of a spot where I could do some gold panning and have a day of fun playing about
Tony
Reedy Creek is literally 10 minutes off the Hume. That's what I'd do
Any particular part. Or any bit will do ?
U 3 should have a gold challenge. Most obtained in a week. 3 pan-ateers challenge😅.
Could you just agitate what's in the bucket and get rid of everything but the bottom inch or so?
Do you still use your magnet stick for probing the ground?
Yeah man, not in every situation.
@@VoGusProspecting I feel like it'd help a bit if the golds sporadic
Nice chris, nice 😊🎉
Beans and grits to keep u going
Gadsie THE SERIAL KILLER from DOWN UNDER!
Maybe you need a bow saw and cut the log in half to move it 🤷♂️
