Excellent game as always, it was super close !
I noticed a few things during the video.
1) Your wife has a new tattoo.
2) You were able to get one of the Vincent Van Gogh playmats. That must have been exciting!
3) It looks like you may have gotten some extra slippery sets of Dragon Shield Mattes in your bulk order. I’ve heard that Ultra Pro Eclipses sometimes stick to sweaty hands, but I suppose the tradeoff would be making the sleeves more slippery, and since you had a few occasions of the decks falling over during the great sleeving live streams, I’m guessing the problem may persist.
4) That was an insane ending. I was absolutely rooting for the Celebi player to find the Gust to KO Shaymin!
Also, yesterday I got to play a game of the Prop 15/3 format with a close friend who hasn’t played Pokémon regularly since he was a child. We played together one other time, in January. I published my first CZcams video, a commentated Prop 15/3 battle, a few weeks ago, and while I’ve since filmed enough footage to make five more videos, I lost steam halfway through editing the first one. Now I feel motivated to finish that video, and perhaps the five part series.
That's pretty cool! And yeah, editing videos does take a long time but worth it
I mean, I haven’t been doing intensive amounts of editing. I’m using a fairly simple program (the one you get for free on a Macbook) which doesn’t let me make anything multiple videos long, and I can’t have gaps between audio clips either, so for some reason, instead of finding a better free program, I’ve been struggling to figure out how to do the commentary in a single take, then trying to squeeze in as much introductory information into the 24 seconds without commentary at the beginning. Next time I’ll need to find a better program, do my research, and make something higher quality.
(P.S. In my first video I had the music alternating between two pieces when it changed from my turn to Jason’s and back again. I really liked the effect, but it required an incredible amount of trimming, and making sure I trimmed at the right places was probably taking me longer than it should. Yes, I’m new to this.)
Why aren't you using the classic collection damage markers and randomizer? I personally can't bring myself to go back
By the way, do you still have those extra Eeveelution ex’s you mentioned during the livestream? I can’t remember if you said you still had them, and it would be interesting to see you build Jay Hornung’s 2006 Speed Jolteon ex deck if you already have all the ex’s and Holon Transceivers.
I do have the eeveelutions, but no more Transceivers
But you did give me an idea for a new video. Maybe I can show all my spare WC cards and see what i can do with them
Ooh! That’s actually a very cool idea! At that point, though, it probably wouldn’t hurt to show some notable playable cards from your collection, too, so we can help you cook more effectively.

Personally, I would define retro either as "pre-Expanded format cardpool," "pre-COVID," or "anything before the current standard format." The fact that I can't decide which is only one of the minor reasons why the question of what is a retro format is confusing.
