How come no one holds Chris rock accountable for bullying jada in which we all teach our children to not do. It doesn't justify the reaction but also should not just cancel out the initial action. It's like if you push someone and they get up and shoot you in the leg. You can't say there was overreaction because the initial action should have never happened... One thing I guarantee is that Chris rock will think twice before insulting a man's wife especially a black woman going through hair issues....if we re going to be real, we have to be all the way real. The reason comedians are who they are is because they push the line of what is socially acceptable or not. It's a gamble and at any given time you are telling a joke it can either land or not, or can be taken seriously and not accepted as a joke. It only takes one time for it to go wrong but that's what makes being a comedian so great, it's the risk. I can't say that will smith was wrong for defending his wife..no matter what they got going on in house it's still his wife and his duty to protect his family, end of discussion. I don't think just words or a discussion would have been taken serious enough to understand how jada and will felt in the moment whether other people would have been as offended or not us irrelevant because they were offended and those feelings are real and should not be played down or looked over because that is the definition of gaslighting. I don't agree with the reaction but I also don't agree with the initial action, first. People are going to probably be more attentive of how they address jada around will in which that's exactly how it should be no matter who the wife or the husband is. Some people just don't play when it comes to their significant other.
