But, to wait as long as he did, just speaks to him feeling justified as defending his wife. Had Chris been armed then once Will assulted Chris with justification of defending Jada honor. Chris would have been equally under law in CA justified by defending himself physically, calling police and having Will arrested, or by use of firearm as Chris was confronted assulted anything that occurred as a result would fall under justified defense against harm.
