I built a house here over ten years ago and nothing was out here. I watched it grow so beautifully! I raised both my children here and we all love it. They are now 29 & 21 & out on their own. I plan to build my last & final house (flat) & I will be staying in this area.

I have lived in Frisco for over 10 years. It is a safe city to live in, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best. Frisco is a great place for someone who values easy accesible living. The buildings are new, the stores are close, and you’ll never run out of a restaurant to choose from. There’s almost a gas station, nail salon, and donut shop on every corner. That being said, I would not want to spend the rest of my life in Frisco. Frisco has a very materialistic culture and is very heavily focused on sports. If you identify with that culture, it’s a great place to live. However, it’s lacking in the arts department and multicultural sector. Frisco is what I would call the typical suburb. As a high school student, I have been through FISD schools for the majority of my life. The schools are new, clean, and overall good quality. One of the weaknesses of FISD schools is that they are very academically centered. The students are pushed to their limits to excel in their education. I believe FISD has provided me with a good education, but for a parent who wants their child to learn the love of learning, rather than learn how to excel at school, I don’t recommend FISD. We lead a very privileged life in Frisco, and it is like a bubble. For a parent who wants their kid to be exposed to the world and learn about different experiences and cultures, I would not recommend Frisco. However, Frisco does have many luxuries that a lot of cities do not. If anyone is interested on moving to Frisco I hope this helped!

I live in Frisco and it's a great town. If you're a fan of live sports and events we've got Toyota Stadium with FC Dallas and concerts, Dr Pepper Stadium where the Rough Riders play, Comerica Center where The Stars practice and The Legend plays and The Star which is the home of the Cowboys, not to mention the new home of the PGA. Schools are great, lots of nice neighborhoods to choose from, good people, good churches, nice community. It is getting a little congested, all the surrounding highways are toll roads and restaurants, night life and shopping aren't as developed as some other areas, but it's close to so many things including the nicest beach and park around in Little Elm. Overall it's a great place to live and I'd rank it at the top in the DFW area.

It's expensive to live here because of all the drifters moving here. I meet so many people who don't have family moving here and then move back because its too expensive to live here. You can't get an apartment unless you make 3x the rent, property taxes are 11k. Mortgage rate is like 4k a month. If you listen to this person and you don't make enough, you will lose thousands of dollars quickly. The jobs out here don't pay enough to make a living. So be smart and don't move to Texas. 10 years ago it was fine to move here, now its to late. I am trying to help people from making a big financial mistake. 💯

Ok let's get real. Frisco is an upper middle class bedroom community with plenty of Karens running around. I'm sure the DEBT LOAD of it's average resident is really high to show that you can keep up with the Joneses. Houses, BMW's, trips, clothes, college tuition, furniture and other things all paid on DEBT to show you fit in. This is a status driven and materialistic city. It's all about talking about your college degrees and high powered jobs to afford those massive mortgages to fit in. Your 8 ft. high privacy fence will be just like your neighbors to fit in with the Stepford Wives subdivision look. Karens need privacy after all. As somebody who lived in Plano for awhile, I can attest to it's neighbor to the north which is like West Plano mostly. Anybody that knows about Frisco will tell you these observations of Frisco are pretty much spot on. If you want your sister cousin city in the Midwest, move to Mason, Ohio home to Kings Island amusement park. If you want REAL WEALTH where people actually OWN practically everything you see, go to Highland Park and University Park closer to Dallas. More actual wealth there and not DEBT driven appearances.

I want to go to the ATP school or any good school for aviation around that area and Frisco seems to be my #1 choice at the moment.
