He carries himself very well, excited for his future!
Not surpised. He made the best with Sacramento and found ways to improve while being a good pro. He's a smart guy and ton of ability. Just scratching the surface.. I like Sabonis a ton, but Haliburton is gonna surpise a lot of folks, which is why fans of him were bullish on him being used to get Sabonis.
Fr went from sac rising star to a national star in 1 week
Ooooôôo
I'm even seeing a possibility of being an espn host. He's just a kid though he's still got a long road in the nba
This was probably the best interview session ever this year! loved the vibes

Man you gotta love Tyrese! Happy for his success!
Gentleman fr. Has a bright future ahead of him
As a 3 maybe 2 on a contender
Gentleman french.
As a Golden 1 Center employee........I watched him play live in Sacramento and he was fun to watch!! It was a bummer to see him traded to Indiana, but I wish him all the success. He should be an all star next season
How is working at an arena? I always imagined it would be either great or a pain
@@brendanhunter389 its fun depending on the event and/or the people you work with. I love working there because of the people I work with. It helped me get used to life in Sacramento because I just moved here from St. Louis almost 3 years ago
We got the greatest fans in Sac!
Had to be a huge bummer for you, but a blessing for an Indiana Pacer fan like me! You got a good one in return though!
@@cobralife0417 true. I moved here almost 3years ago so I'm still new to Sacramento. They were very happy to draft him
Tyrese about to go crazy😈 What a player!
Kings being the kings
@@kaiskajani5305 funny cuz the Kings did all that and still not gonnna make the playoffs anytime soon lol
@@Shortballa11 I know
He has made a lot a money in player props.
Very mature athlete I like him
He is one of those guys that can do it all on and off the court. Didn't know much about this guy before this interview but now I am a huge fan. HUGE FAN!
This dude is so motivated. I’m definitely rooting for the guy.
Pacers low-key building a MONSTER >:)>:)>:)
@Whyyoumadatfacts? 🤷♂️ honestly, pacers have always gotten close to beating the top dog but haven't been successful. It all depends how are top draft pick performs. You may be right but as a pacers fan, our future looks so much better from just 2 weeks ago lol
When Perk said “I was happy you got traded”
Awkward moment for Tyrese 🤣
Nah not really especially after he explained why he said it
@@jasonlovell651 tha he wants too see him with Chris Dort?
Doesnt make sense... he should have just said it as it was. Fox was holding you back.... it was either you or him ..they chose Fox
@@thefourfourfour9512 I mean him going to the Pacers with that duo is very promising potentially in the long run. Sac looking for an identity, trading away one of their young pieces is a strange one though.
@@thefourfourfour9512 nah he's saying look how long it's been since the king's have made the playoffs or had a season of significants & that with the potential & talent hali has shouldn't be wasted with the kings
@@thefourfourfour9512 not saying he's gonna win the championship with the pacers but he has a better chance of making the playoffs at least
Tyrese can def be in the media after he done playing he got an infectious personality.
He seems like a really good dude. All the best for him in Indiana. He's off to a great start there!
Pacers low-key building a MONSTER around this kid >:)>:)>:)
Instant sympathy for that guy. He has a new fan.
You should be happy for him to get out of Sacramento, no sympathy needed this is a blessing
@@matthewm3869 I don't mean sympathy as in pity. He seems like a really likable person is what I meant to say. Sorry, not a native speaker.
@@matthewm3869 i agree. it's a good thing for him to get out of a shitty market like sac. hopefully the pacers do him better. i mean not that indiana is known for being a good nba market but you get my point
Another thing with Haliburton is that it helps that he's the best player by some distance at the Pacers, which helps everything go through him. If he was at a bigger team like the sixers for example, both his points & assists per game would be a lot smaller obviously. Doesnt take anything away from him man as I'm sure he's gnna be an all star starter and win an MVP one day.
Better than Brogdon ?
MVP is a stretch
Ok dude you coulda just stopped at all star. He won’t ever be better than CJ McCollum
@@EJINSANE in his 4 games he’s looked slightly worse offensively, better playmaking and far better on defence. So yeh
@@jackmass4798 I agree
Hali is a good guy and he deserved more. His numbers in Pacers is going up and hope he keeps it up until next season.
3:32 couldn’t even say that with a straight face 🤣🤣🤣
6th most playoff wins the last 30years. Team hasn’t picked in the top 10 in as long either. Although never winning it all, Indiana has always put out a good, competitive product and that is something many teams can’t say.
@@dcross446 they were talkin about Sacramento 😅😅
@@justo2640 They were definitely talking about Indiana and they are definitely misinformed about Pacers history. I mean… without Jordan or LeBron, the Pacers probably have multiple titles the past few decades. Not their fault that LeBron, MJ, and Giannis all ended up in their division lol Pacers franchise has probably the worst luck in sports history for this and multiple other circumstances.
Wow! I've never heard this young man speak, but I'm instantly a fan now! Great, great charisma, very attentive, very thoughtful and knows how to express his thoughts. And that's literally all just OFF THE FIELD stuff. Couple that with his on field gifts, and I see a very, very bright future for this young man! Wish him many successes!!! 🥳💪🏽🔥

Everybody thought it was a joke
Kings most hopeless franchise in sports most incompetent organization in sports
I still think its a joke.
He's already one of my favorite players. It sucks because I'm a huge knicks fan they of course passed on him, but I think he'll be great in Indiana.
He's a great interviewee, answers with confidence and well spoken
Make this kid a broadcaster when he retires. He’s holds himself very well and I can easily see him doing this for a living. Definitely will try to catch more pacers games
JJ Redick has already been "grooming" him.
No one should be mad, he got traded from the Kings. The trade helps Tyrese grow, let the Kings do Kings things
Indiana Pacers have never won an NBA championship
@@a-love-supremist he went from playing on a trash team to an occasional playoff team. He got the better of the stick.

Very likable guy very easy to interview, and his play keeps improving every game
3:33 when he said "they(Pacers) used to winning" and someone started cracking up in laughter, it had me rolling😂😂🤣🤣
The thing that I thought was interesting is the information from other GMS saying "I thought he was untouchable if I knew he was available I would have sent a trade package" because the other GMS look at him as a really good piece who could make your team insanely good and I have to imagine every other team was thinking de'aaron Fox was on the move and not Tyrese.
GMs should just assume the Kings have no idea what they’re doing and this is coming from a kings fan
That’s their fault matter the offer & let the team say no
@@versatillion15 should teams offer packages for every single player their interested in? No because they wouldn’t have enough time.

What better player than Sabonis could the kings have gotten for Halliburton without giving up any picks?
Well deserved. He deserve all the love.
Perk: "I got suites for sells" 😂😂😂
bruh I deadass thought he said sweets
He got sweets for sale too. 😂😂
LMAO I thought he was selling sweets
This is the first time I've heard Tyrese actually talk, he's a baller and I've been high on him after his rookie season. He's a star in the making and I liked his game, good luck to him in Indy and I hope he keeps balling!
Huge Halliburton fan now. Knows his stuff. Dude has a great personality and can ball!
Great interview and charisma. Definitely rooting for him now
aye this was a genuinely great interview what a good dude, rootin for him
If the interviews are like this. This is gonna be a great year for espn.
Poor Tyrese, he came to Sac and did everything he was supposed to do and he's already becoming a star at 21 years old! There's nothing more he could of done for that organization and this news must of really hurt him, i hope he continues to becoming a great superstar! best of luck TH

his energy is great man feel like a good person to be around

When he said the Pacers are "used to winning" compared to the Kings I knew this was gonna be the best interview in years
He went from a basement team to an occasional playoff team. From poor to midpack team. The Kings are going to regret this!

About time he gets some shine he's a very talented player 👏👏👏
As a kings fan this breaks my heart. He was often the best player on the court. His attitude and love for the city was clear. Another frustrating move from the kings 😤
He's clearly a better player to me than Fox and again I don't know what your organization is thinking
Loved the vibes of this interview
Whenever I think of the Sacramento Kings, I think of White Chocolate, Webber, Peja, Bibby, Hedo, Vlade and Doug Christie. Those were fun years to watch and I’m not even a Kings fan. That time was over two decades ago. It’s a shame the organization hasn’t given the fans as much to root for since.
That was a great era in basketball. Those battles with the Lakers was so fun to watch. I saw Peja light the Knicks up at the Garden once. I was in awe of how beautiful his jumper was. He was hitting rainbow three’s on my Knick’s!
He needed that trade more than he realizes, now he can flourish in the lead guard role with a great organization
Pacers low-key building a MONSTER around Hali >:)>:)>:)
I already knew he could average something like 18 and 10 on his own team. Good stuff
NBA today has been killing it. And hope all the best for Tyrese
Honestly seems like a really chill and likeable dude.
My man ty gonna be a multi time all star
potentially all-nba caliber once he reaches his prime, especially with the pacers developing around him. They always find a way to win around an organizational star

Honestly good for him. Indiana is a franchise where players get built, others rejuvenated. Just look at LeVert, Oladipo, PG, Sabonis, and so on.
Yep I'd sit there too, Tyrese.
Congrats to the Pacer fans and organization for landing this guy. I'm a small market guy myself(Portland) and love to see a small market team land a guy like this.

TV gold you guys are crushing it!
As a Kings fan I was stoked when he fell to us in the draft. Haliburton had a fantastic rookie season and his second he was getting better. I watched every game I could that he played in because he finally bought some excitement to a Kings game. And then Kings management does what kind management does and traded him away to try to get into the play in tournament which doesn't look to be happening. I personally feel Fox should have been traded. His five seasons and he just barely showed glimpses of a great player last year. Should have let Tyrese take the reins. Best of luck to you Tyrese!
