Not all traffic to your website will lead to affiliate commissions. And you shouldn't forcefully plug products just for the sake of getting an affiliate commission either.
People won't click a link just because it's there.
You need to find topics that a) get searched in Google, CZcams or whatever search engine you're optimizing for and b) topics where it's natural to plug product recommendations.
If you're new as an affiliate marketer, you'll need to understand search intent. And in the video, you'll learn what that is and why that is important to affiliate marketing.
Once you understand the concept of search intent, you'll learn about the 4 different types of affiliate marketing keywords.
They are:
► General comparisons
► Branded comparisons
► Product reviews
► T&A
The first type of keywords are general comparisons.
These are your typical "Best [product name]" keywords. And these types of affiliate keywords are super easy to recommend products because that's essentially what the post is about. The keyword, "best" implies that there are comparisons that need to be made.
On top of that, people searching for these "best product name" keywords are likely in the market to purchase something in the near future.
The second type of keywords are branded comparisons. These are keywords where a searcher wants to compare the differences between two branded products.
These types of keywords usually have lower search demand, but they convert well because the searcher has likely narrowed down their purchase decision to a few products.
The third type of keywords are detailed product reviews.
Searchers that are looking for reviews on these topics are probably close to making a purchase. They've researched multiple products, and now they want a more in-depth review on one of the products.
The last type of keywords are Trust & Authority keywords, aka T & A.
They don't directly contribute to your affiliate revenue, but they serve an important purpose. You need backlinks to rank your pages, but most of your pages are commercial in nature, which makes it tough to get links.
So, you'll need these topics to acquire links and build up your page-level and website authority.
And in this tutorial, you'll learn how to find all four types of keywords in any affiliate niche.

First, I would like to thank you for these valuable videos. I have a suggestion related to the Ahrefs product.
I think Ahrefs should offer a beginner friendly plan in a price range of 25-30$ per month, because beginners from developing countries can't really afford the current lite plan. I'm from India and here average monthly salary of IT employees are just 250$ and I believe most of the other developing countries also pay similarly. So it is impossible for us to purchase Ahrefs and, I think this move would really increase your revenue as well. You can reduce the number of projects, search quota, data retention, etc to make it more affordable.
Sir, please consider this request. If such a plan is introduced, it'll be highly appreciated.

Sam, you are referring to T&A Section that, it is not good practice to get backlinks on commercial/affiliate pages rather have backlinks on Info content, but while analyzing the SERP of competitors it has been observed that many of them have backlinks in commercial content pages. Is there any risk from google on it to have backlinks on affiliate content?
Otherwise, how could new competitors beat the same existing competitors without having minimum levels of backlinks (say 2 0r 3 Backlinks)? In that case, Do new competitors need to grow their DR and grow their authority?
I don't believe Sam said it's not good practice to get links on commercial pages. It's just harder.

It differs from niche to niche, video to video. Just because we get a certain result doesn't mean you'll need to get that result, or it necessarily works the same way in your industry, etc.

Can I use the same heading and write a brief content and get more quality backlinks to outrank them?
Backlinks are important but aren't the only factor in ranking. So, you still need to create great content - not just simply copy some H1 tag and write some random content and hope to rank just because you have more backlinks.
Stop trying to game the system and focus on creating good content to serve your customers.

Hi Sam, when you check for keywords and it says "we estimate you need XX backlinks to rank top 10", are they dofollow, nofollow, a mix or it matters in any way ? We all know contextual dofollow coming from high DR websites are better but how does these links affect in this scenario ? If it says you need 10 backlinks and you bring 10 nofollow obviously you are behind than someone who gets 10 dofollow so you better improve the understanding please because I'm a bit confused. thanks
It's just an estimate based on how many backlinks are pointing at the top 10 pages. It's impossible to accurately say how many of what kind of backlinks you need.

According to me, searchers who uses "Branded comparision" keywords are probably more close to purchase than the searchers who uses "product reviews" keywords. Agree?????

hey in product reviews if I include review", nothing appears but when I include review , keywords showing.
if my product is banjo , the brands phrase match with review include, no result.
There I given banjo review instead review , and the results come. it's ok?
When searching for "banjo" as the seed and using the "include" function with "review" set as the modifier, I'm seeing over 840 keywords. Try again or contact support if you need help.

I need serious help as I am not able to find out the solution. I am using shared hosting and currently, 2 WordPress websites are hosted. I have noticed that the traffic spike will go down and go up for both of the websites at once., I.E. if site 1 has fewer visits as compared to last day, surprisingly site 2 will also show the traffic drop. Simultaneously if site 1 gets more visitors co0mpared to last day, then site 2 will also show spikes in traffic,. I checked for a downtime of the server but found it to be normal. Also, Google console won't show any coverage error. I have noticed several other websites in my niche have more traffic ever they are having poor DA PA and poor content. I am using the same set of theme and plugins on both websites. They have a different niche and 100+ posts each. All I barely get is 150 visits a day each. both websites are 1+ year old(DA 30+) with quality content and well researched using Ahref and KGR.
I AM CONFUSED !!! ANY SUGGESTIONS!! THANKS IN ADVANCE
