God I love Sam. He's just as charming and funny as Nate, but in the same way that Nate has a fatal flaw in his heroism, Sam's is his greed. and that humanizes him, to the point where the character feels real. I swear, Uncharted's characters and their development is so underrated

I don’t think Sam is very greedy in Uncharted 4, he wants to find his treasure for his mother’s sake because she committed suicidal after getting mocked at by presenting her theory,

Actually this game was supposed to be a Sam and Sully story, but the devs thought that Chloe and Nadine deserved their own story. But they did say that they weren't completely scrapping the idea of a Sam and Sully story.

Naughty Dog is incredible at making you fall in love with their characters. As much as I love Nate, I think 4 was a perfect send off for him. If we ever do get another Uncharted, I wouldn't mind them focusing on Sully and Sam, Chloe and Nadine, or any other combination of that grouping; heck, maybe throw in Cutter too. Lost Legacy shows they can do it well.
They definitelly gotta bring Cutter back in the mix!

Who wouldn’t? Unfortunately his mocap actor Troy Baker is already married.
Nadine wanting to kill Sam more than Sam wanting to kill Nadine is kind of baffling to me considering the fact she's done the most harm to the brothers than they ever could inflict on Nadine.
She is mercenary leader, they killed like 200 of her men, nearly headshot her, fuck up her business, cause her company turn again her. If you are born and rise in mercenary company, and killing only way you know to resolve problem, i would understand why she reaction like that. Luckily, like Sully said, she not that kind of person who trying to revenge at all cost.
The banter between these 3 is golden....they have to make another game.

What'd be really cool is if they did these three like they did GTA 5, where you can switch between the three characters in the fly and each character has their own play style. Maybe Chloe is the stealthy one and the driver, Nadine is the fighter and the gunner, and Sam is the explorer/navigator and the puzzle solver.

There aren't really plans for there to be another Uncharted game. They concluded Nate's journey definitively, and going back to tell more stories because you've written yourself into a corner is lazy. If you want a prequel, play Golden Abyss, because that's exactly what you're describing. They've also turned this time period into novels, comics, and the 2021 Uncharted movie is also a prequel to the games and from all accounts will be canon

Everybody wants Cassie or Sully for the next uncharted games. But i really want Sam!! He is a great character and he can take easily the lead on the series! It will be even better if along side with him is Chloe and Nadine.

it's honestly a very sweet thing to add to her character, she really did love nathan and he left a positive impact on her
Yeah I love her growth. In U2, she was the one who didn't want to be a hero and leave things instead of taking them on herself. But now, it's the complete opposite and her referring to U2 in saying she's "tired of walking away" was great and shows how much she's changed from a petty thief to the hero she loathed before.

If they make Uncharted 5, I can see it being about One of Nate’s old enemies kidnapping Cassie cause she knows too much of another treasure or lost city or something else entirely, and then Everybody gets involved. Nate, Sam, Elena, Sully, Chloe. Maybe even Charlie and Nadine. I just hope that they don’t go with Cassie shooting guns, cause that’ll just be Uncharted 1 all over again, and nobody wants that.

One thing I like more than the gameplay and the story are the characters
They made a great change to the original Sam character, and I'm glad that made that change. Hate to see Sam as the bad guy in U4, and we wouldn't have ULL story featuring him like this if they've gone with that direction.

Either Chloe met Sam along with Nate before the jail incident, or in the two years Sam was out of jail before he contacted Nate, he contacted/met Chloe. But I don't know.
My theory is that Chloe probably looked for Nate as her first choice of help but since Nate has retired from the treasure hunting gig, he may have recommended his brother Sam instead
