I even make a space ship out of paper playing g force for years as a kid. Thanks. I'm 52 now .
Hey i also did it too... ✋👍

OMG ME N MY BROTHER MADE PAPER AIRPLANE ships watching this show what year 82? Im trying toi find out
I remember watching G-force in the early 90's as a Kid, What fond memories.
Ditto! This is the G-Force that I grew up with along with Speed Racer. I was in elementary around the time.
Same. Also, Dic Dub of Seasons 1 & 2, & Cloverway Dub of Season 3 of Sailor Moon.

The background music. Legendary!!
My golden childhood memory and i am 38 now.
I never SAW BOTP or Gotchaman, but I did see this as a kid. Thanks for the nostalgia.
My favorite Classic Anime TV show! God we need this show back.
I recognise so many of the dub voice artists. They were used on so many Anime dubs in the late 70’s and 80’s
Hell yeah Barbara Goodson as Agatha June!
So would I. Cam Clarke was Dirk Daring before TMNT!
I’m 41 tomorrow and this just made my day. Happy times
This is the version I remember as a child. Thanks for this I loved this show
Alan Brandon: Thanks.
This is the version I grew up on & now seek on DVD. Thanks for the upload!
Better than the censored BOTP.
Bring back good memories from 1979
The version they played when I was a kid the little one had Tourette’s - was unintelligible just spoke in tiks and beep doop brrrr
Battle of the Planets G-Force is the Coolest show ever.
if not a bit confusing how they put the american shows together.. the original art is amazing.
One of kind show miss Casey kasam and Alan Young think my kids watched this version while I remember the 70s version from my childhood either way ❤ 😍 both of them I'm 56 now still loving this show star wars all over again ,now my grand kids can see it today Damn now that's 😎.
Except this isnt Casey Kasem in this one from the 80's. He was in The Battle of The Planets, which is basically this same show but from a different run back in 1978. Look up Battle of the Planets and watch a clip of that and you'll hear him right away. He isnt part of this G Force cast.
Was my favorite cartoon. . thanks
I remember watching this when I was a kid. But, their names are different. Used to be Mark, Jason, Princess, Keyop, and Tiny.
That was the Battle of the Planets version of the series from the late 70's, early 80's with Casey Kasem voicing Mark. I know, so confusing! I can remember watching both but honestly prefer the G-Force version. "Keyop" always bothered me with the computer chatter.. All I know is I loved this show as a child and my VHS tapes have deteriorated enough that I just keep them on a shelf as a childhood souvenir. I would give my soul to find all the episodes somewhere!
I liked BOTP myself.
Don't know why they changed the names of the character's?
This! This is the cartoon I remember! How I wish the whole series was on DVD, VHS, just something!!!
it is.
@@jonnyb70 No, it isn’t no. It never has been, only a select few episodes are available on DVD. The original show, Gatchaman is, however G-Force isn’t
I used to live for this show.
dana t.
the staging of the key scenes and the artwork on these episodes are top notch man.. amazing. this was a memorable part of my television watching as a young boy. and I remember noticing these differences on some episodes.. this is like movie quality in some parts. Like Robotech as well..some art great.. then you can tell when it was farmed out to Taiwan
I remember watching this on the Cartoon Network. It was kinda violent.
The people at King Features Entertainment left in the more violent parts as in the original Gatchaman.
Me too.
By Far The BEST Version of Battle of The Planets aways known as G - Force Guardiands of Space to me always, these are The Original Voices of G-Force Heart and Soul put into this.
Thanks for uploading these, I really wish they would find a way to release the G-force serie. And while I'm wishing, Gatchaman 2 and Gatchman Fighter
Greywarden5129 your wish partly came true gatchaman ii amd fighter are on dvd now thanks to sentai filmworks
i grow up with this cartoon .........love it
@@chrishill9311 - Are they dubbed, or just subbed like most of their stuff?
I need this beat for working out.
Or saving the world from a terrorist.
I grew watching them in Spanish. But in English with that opening theme song, ufff !!!
great memories!!!
❤
Thanks for sharing. Loved this as a child.
This is the another one of my favorite cartoons and voltes V
Thanks for this version of G-Force upload .. we can't find this Anywhere.................
Watched this on Cartoon Network back in the 1990's never knew it was based on Japanese anime although not surprising the best kid shows from the 90s seem to be based on a darker Japanese version would love to see the original.
That anime was from 1972...
When I watch this it bring back memories of the gud old days I wish I could turn back times
Damn, with that beat, are they going to save the world or going to a disco ball? 😂
In original Gatchaman, it was dead silence in some scenes.
Or inducing migraines, depending on your point of view! 🤣
@@bobbibaker5877 Sometimes I wanted to strangle the audio editor, but then someone says "Hooty" and I start laughing again.
Omg..... my childhood
It's canon, Leader of Red Impulse is G-Force Leader's father. What a revelation!!
He died at the events during Gatchaman II.
I saw this on Cartoon Network in 1995. My dad found it funny that I liked this show. He compared it to he he liked the original Godzilla movies when he was young.
The Jellyfish Lens episode sounds much like the "Godzilla vs the Smog Monster" movie.
The "Smog Monster" your dad's referring to is none other than...Hedorah
@@TORNAD38 I actually told my dad that if he got bored, he should watched those monster movies uncut and subtitled because there were probably major changes to the storyline.
Thank god for Ted turner
Dave M he was the one who bought the American gatchaman rights from sandy frank and enlisted the help of anime dubbing pioneer Fred Ladd to create G-Force. They aimed to make a more faithful adaptation of gatchaman than battle of the planets and they did a very remarkable job in that aspect.
Fred Ladd, the guy who pioneered American dubs of Anime starting with Astro Boy was also involved with this show.
"I don't have any choice Hooty as you can see my mouth hasn't stopped moving yet so I have to keep spouting words and delivering lines until the yap-flapping stops!" 😆
Wish everytime I had a downtime moment in life, suddenly this 80s beat would start playing. 38:36
Even on CRT, this show always looked murky and fuzzy! The broadcast tapes were in really rough shape in the 1990s!
Probably duped from 1970s materials that were aged and at least 2nd or 3rd generation tapes.
Even the dark, murky, unrestored DVD releases of Gatchaman looked better than this! I haven't seen the Blu rays but I imagine they fixed what was economical for hi-def. There were episodes that looked dark or vinegar in the DVDs but they were NOT as fuzzy as what you see here!
this doesn't make any damn sense, of all places, as much anime there is on the internet g-force can only be found here. what the hell is going on ?!?!?
The G-Force dub has never had a full home video release; as much fans as its had (myself included), it hasn't been enough for the rights holders (formerly Sandy Frank, now Sentai Filmworks) to re-release more than just a few episodes. Also, considering the original show (Gatchaman) has since had a full English dub, it would muddle things to release yet another, older English dub.
G-Force lives on in VHS recordings and CZcams videos!
Does anyone know where it can be found to stream? This is maddening that I can't find it
@@wadealleyne1919 You can't find it on streaming in full. Again, you had to record it off TV when it originally aired. I'm not aware of ANY channel in the US that aired all G-Force dubbed episodes when they ran the series. They usually ran only a select amount of episodes. They edited and dubbed 85 episodes of the original Gatchaman. They never to my knowledge showed all 85 dubbed episodes on Cartoon Network or TBS and I wasn't even aware this show aired on Sci Fi Channel because of their erratic schedule for anime!
Besides, the third English dub by ADV Films, is a lot more faithful and MUCH better-directed than this one or Battle of the Planets.
They butchered this show in the first two English dubs. Unedited or in the third dub it's a much better series.
I know right.. and it's not talked about much I notice.
What i would pay to have G-force on dvd (not botp or gatchaman)
Check eBay
They got that lol
@ANUPTAH Wrong. This is the mid -eighties G-FORCE: GUARDIANS OF SPACE dub localized by Fred Ladd, not the 1978 BATTLE OF THE PLANET'S dub localized by Jameson Brewer for Sandy Frank. The G-FORCE dub can be identified by the repetitive continual porno music synthesizer drum machine backbeat and cheesy names like Dr. Brighthead, Ace Goodheart, and Dirk Daring. BotP can be differentiated by the inclusion of grafted on scenes featuring 7-Zark-7, 1-Rover-1 and Susan, and more conventional character names like Security Chief Anderson, Mark and Jason, and supplemental heroic incidental music by Hanna-Barbera mainstay Hoyt Curtin and vocal performances by established actors like Casey Kasem, Janet Waldo, and Alan Young.
@ANUPTAH I never said he was. Kasem was Mark. Ronnie Schell was Jason, except in the pilot, "The Space Terrapin" in which Schell played Tiny and another voice actor, most likely David Joliffe (formerly Bernie from ROOM 222), played Jason.
@ANUPTAH And I never said he was, since Mark wasn't the character's name in G-FORCE, and Kasem never performed in G-FORCE. The G-FORCE equivalent character, Ace Goodheart, featured in the above video, was voiced by Sam Fontana.
nice to hear cam clarque is in this

Netflix or Disney needs to pick this up! Characters, outfits, vehicles, weapons, the tech were way ahead of its time! We need a reboot!!!!

Man they make cartoons like this anymore
Does anyone know where to find the episode where they had to fight some plants? That was a terifying episode for kids cartoon.
Great version!
That Sandy Frank version was a disservice to the original version, but in fairness it was a victim of its time too as all animation was for children only.
Much better than battle of the planets
I don't know even though this is the version I grew up on I think the battle of the planets version is a lot better
Anybody know where I can find the ova version? CZcams keep blocking them
I saw an episode of "Battle of The PLanets" and hated it with a passion. Whenever someone complains about localizations that suck, I just point to what BOTP did to Gatchaman.
@Adelaine Delabin as much as I love the G-Force intro, I absolutely agree that the BOTP intro and score were much better
G-Force is better because it's true to the original Gatchaman and it's uncensored. It shows civilians getting killed unlike BOTP.
22:36 Best G-Force Villan Voices OMG!!
Wondering why they had not made a movie out of GForce yet? ,,, Just a thought since we have a Batman and Spiderman movies already ???

Great version! That Sandy Frank version was s disservice to the original version but in fairness it was a victim of its time too.
Was this an 80's cartoon only? I...think I remember watching it after school in the late 70's too. If not, it began in the VERY early 80's. This music is certainly 80's though.
In the 70s, it was called "Battle of The Planets" and the localization was terrible.
78 to 80 the replayed until 85. I loved this show when I was a kid.
@@reneefariasphoto40 ok, I must have seen it '78-'80. In fact I'm sure I did.
It was on in 1978 originally, then replayed in the UK continuously till the mid 80’s. They doctor’d it to make it kid safe though and thats how most us will remember it.
@@pkf4124 Yup. Because actually I’m certain I remember seeing it late 70’s.
I'm pretty sure we had this show in the UK but it was known as battle of the planets. The bad guy was called zoltar and it was narrated by an annoying robot called 7-zark-7. Pretty sweet 80s cartoon though

There are some Asei Kobayashi's Gatchaman BGMs still exitsts in G Force except their Japanese openings.
Most of the action BGMs were composed by Bob Sakuma.

Isn't this Battle of the planets?
It was the late 70’s adaptation of Gatcha man but the watered down version, G-Force was the mid 80’s adaptation but still kept most of the original music from Gatchaman and kept some of the violence.
Nice one dr.armstrong you leave Voltes 5 to lead the Gforce
Wow, so EVERYTHING after the Sandy Frank and Jameson Brewer adaptation of Battle of the Planets is just one terrible remix after another. The music and voices of BOTP was the best out of all the different incarnations except, of course, for the original Gatchaman, which had much of the music mixed into it.
Gotcha man IS THE original version
Gatchaman
The ova version is better. It's timeless
The original three Gatchaman series were way better than Crowds.
Gforce transform? Oh no ☹️😫
They should've been "Bird, Go!" or something like in Eagle Riders like "Eagle Mode, Activate!"
I like the ova series better they keep taking it down
