I like Henry's last statement, "Life is filled with risks, you take them or you don't. You have to go all out, you can't live in the middle."
He talks so gently
So wholesome
One of the most beautiful humans to ever grace this planet
I'm so thankful I was around for his lifetime
Henry was one of the few celebrities that no one had any bad things to say about-and that means a lot!
I agree with you. Henry is so sweet. He inspired me to follow my acting dream on Twitter. I really admire and appreciate him. :)
anothony peterson Totally agree! That was back in the day where egos weren’t out of control, and men were still gentlemen. Tom Hanks is another one. Too bad today’s celebrities have become so jaded, and the machine of “Hollywood” has allowed it to occur. Same thing applies to professional athletes today. I remember when players had to have second jobs and made 30K a year. Today those men are philanthropists and have had successful secondary careers after retirement from ball. Today’s athletes are paid ungodly amounts of money and most probably don’t have a lot to show for it after their careers end. I miss the old days.
nerd that slept with about 3,000 women
Didn't Tom Hanks get him fired....
@@shopgirl10 pretty sure Tom Hanks got Henry Winkler fired from a movie....
WOW!!!
When I was a kid.... we ALL wanted to be the Fonz!
And if anyone ever deserved love in Hollywood.... it was Winkler.
A Loving Gentleman
Never a Bad Word About Anyone
Always Appreciative of His Fans
Merv Griffin
Always was Very Polite and Respectful to Everyone Including
His Audience
He might be the most adorable human being on the planet
I would have cuddled him
He wad handsome back in the day
Henrys is so sweet💓💓💓
my favorite celebrity ever!
Henry is 180 from the FOnz charactor - Educated at Yale, so humble, great parent etc Hollywood filth just didn't rub off on his teflone jacket!
Kind of like Carol O’Conner and Archie
Always been a sweetheart!
He's so adorable
He was hilarious in ‘Night Shift.’
I watched the first place he showed the Movie Hero's when it first went out. It was a theatre in San jose Ca. After the movie Henry came in there with a white suit on and waved. They wanted to see the reactions and gave us a paper to rate the movie on how we liked it. People went crazy when he came out with a smile and a wave.
He really was so handsome. And just an all around great guy
Henry Winkler was known as one of the truly nice guys in Hollywood.
MERV Griffin and Mike Douglas.. were the best... great interviewers
I liked him as Benedict Slade in An American Christmas Carol which was a very challenging role for a young man. It was filmed in Canada with an all Canadian Cast.
That was a great spin off on the original Dickens version
Great interview with a legend the fonz!👍👍👍🍻😎
Always comes across as a really nice guy.
CREDIT TO HIS AWESOME ACTING SKILLS BECAUSE HE IS
ONE TOTALLY DIFFERENT DUDE BEING HIMSELF 💪
one of my heroes. would love to meet him,😎
Love Henry!
how amazingly little he has changed over the years.
classic interview with Henry Winkler the fonz! a great actor . and great person, who really cares.
Yes ....life is full of risks and you have to take risks ...very meaningful statement even nowadays in today's day and age....
It’s kinda crazy how he sounds nothing like The Fonz, proof of a great actor
Henry done some great movies also.
1:21 strange statement about "Heroes" since Henry Winkler already appeared in two films, a bit part in "Crazy Joe" and of course a co-starring role in "The Lords of Flatbush," both from 1974.
he had a Tom Cruise thing going on (before Tom Cruise had a Tom Cruise thing going on)
bleebloe 😂😂😂😂
I was just thinking how he sounds like Tom Cruise, too
HIS VOICE😂❤️❤️❤️😭🥺
the, fonz, and Henry Winkler, are legends, 👍👍😎
Henry Winkler was the coolest on Happy Days but appears to be a nerd in real life,. Lol.
he got with thousands of girls back then. no nerd
Lol so tru
Yep thats why it’s called acting
Yep sadly
He is the most humble and nice guy
I met him!
I told him about how he was my dad's childhood hero & got him to give a little video message to him.
Thats awsome....The Fonz was really cool when i was a kid
The movie Hero's was a movie where Henry played a troubled Vietnam Vet. Its a good movie for its time, & if you look real close, you'll notice it also had Harrison Ford who later starred in those Star Wars films & it also it had Sally Field who went on to star in those Smokey & the Bandit films with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed, & Jackie Gleason. Lucky me, I have all those great movies & I even have Hero's with Henry Winkler. I loved the Camero that was in the movie. That was a fast car. lol And to Jerry & Jack may they RIP We miss you !!!
Lords of Flatbush was ok too
+Regular John Yea it was. I have it on video, though its been a while since I watched it. I've been watching the Twilight Zone of late.
+defiantone Lol Twilight Zones are cool too
+Regular John Yea, I have the complete series on dvd. All the shows I like, I buy the complete series or I don't buy em at all. My cousin flew to Germany with her husband on one of their planes for a 2nd honeymoon & she brought back one of my all time favorite shows from the 80's BJ & The Bear. The complete series on dvd. This was before it was released. It was a bootleg, but NAILED IT!!! lol I also have the complete Buck Rogers, the complete Battle Star Galactica, & the list just goes on & on. Hell, who needs cable? I don't. lol I also have the complete Wonder Woman on dvd. The only 2 shows I don't have complete are a 80's sitcom called "Just The Ten Of Us" only cos its never been released yet, & my all time favorite show "Heartland" And that's only cos its still on TV going strong. Its in its 9th season & I have the first 8 on dvd. Its a great show. Has great acting, a great cast & it also has purdy woman & my critters. Who could ask for more. lol You can watch it on youtube. Just type in Heartland & you'll be all set. I also have the complete Knight Rider on dvd & so much more. Back when shows were fun to watch & not all this garbage junk TV they have nowadays. The only exception today that I see, is Heartland. If you have kids & are looking for a good wholesome show you can watch & not worry if your kids watch it by themselves, this show is it. You get no half naked woman, or foul language & its a show if you have kids, you can be proud of. Its filmed in Canada & the snow IS real. Just ask the cast. lol And the scenery is gorgeous. In short, its a great show.
+defiantone Hahaha FUCK YEA DUDE .. Buck Rogers, Battle Star Galactica fucking awsome...dont forget The Incredible Hulk and Dukes of Hazard too LOL AWSOME AWSOME
Merv Griffin show was one of kind missed it
His performance and the movie HEROES is underrated. he should have been a huge star, but I think Fonzie got in his way.

God bless H.W!
The character of fonz was a character with many flaws but as his role of a character with so many visible flaws he played off the role well but later to become something grown into..
Which opened him into a great actor with many talents and many different roles...he will always be a legend in the acting field...in a time when actors were substance and life.
Aw.
I wanna get a coffee with Winkler.
It's fun to hear his voice without the big Brooklyn accent.
Hank Winkler is a great guy!
This is more traumatic that hearing Mike Tyson speak for the first time.
Haha…that is funny!!! I remember the first time I heard Tyson speak after a fight before he was a heavy weight champ.. I was stunned.
I love the fonz

I didn't watch this to the end, but I think he played Potsie in "Happy Days." Potsie can sing in real life I heard. They should have let him sing on Merv!
Yeah, he played Potsie😁
