I love it. I worked at Herman Miller for 41 years, 16 of those years as a seamstress in the Chair plant, sewing Eames products, including the Eames Lounge chair.
That’s such a huge compliment coming from a pro like yourself! Thank you 😊
Very cool! To think of how many people must be enjoying your hard work and attention to detail at this very moment is really something!
That chair looks like you took a shrink-ray gun and shrunk a real Eames chair! Beautiful. Thank you for sharing this tutorial. You are such an amazing artist!
Awww that’s a huge compliment! Thank you so much!
I can almost hear Frasier complaining about having to move this chair so his dad's ugly chair can sit front and center in the living room. 😂 Seriously, though, great attention to detail! I love it! ❤ Thank you for sharing. 😊
😂😂😂
Amazing!!!! I want to live in your dollhouse :) the detail and workmanship blows me away!!!!
Not only are your videos fun to watch, your voice is so soothing! Not to mention the incredible projects.
Amazing! ... and thank you so much for doing a tutorial without the 3D printer!! I'm excited to try and recreate this one!
You're very welcome! It was nice to work exclusively with wood and fabrics again :)
Your detailing, material knowledge everything is so great. But what I envy the most about your videos is that silky voice giving instructions and your well groomed hands not blocking the shots. When I'm editing my videos, my ugly hands are always in the way. Keep up the good work!
Aww thank you! I used to do the same thing! Now I record each step several times and just delete the clips where I’m blocking the project in any way. Still have trouble ensuring the lighting and focus is good, but it’s a work in progress :)
Artonkarton because of your comment I have now subscribed to you as well! I just love watching people do these kinds of things.
@@chrinamint Thank you so much! You know we arts & crafts people cant survive in the real world much these days without your support :) So I really appreciate it :)
You always have the best instructions. Appreciate two ways to bend the wood. So much time and effort must have gone into this video! Thank you
Thank you very much!!! I’m so glad you liked it!
I’ve seen that you can actually buy these as a finished miniature. I was tempted to do so since we have an actual Eames chair but now I think I might try and make my own. Thanks so much for the awesome tutorial, you never disappoint!
Go for it!! I bet you’ll love your own version even more than the one you can buy ;)
So nice to have you back. Thanks for showing that things don't always go right on the very first try and for providing alternatives when they do not (re/wood bending). Chair looks great, but then your work always does.
Aww thanks for that feedback. I’ve considered cutting that piece out but now I’m glad I included it
another mini masterpiece!!! the time and effort you put into your projects and videos is so apparent. and i love that you’re willing to show missteps along the way and how to correct them. A+++!!
Thank you so very much!! I love sharing my process so you can learn from my mistakes and do it right the first time 😅 if I were to build this again, it would take a fraction of the time it took to build this first one
I have never seen giant craft sticks! This is awesome.
Wow thank you for this! I made this chair following almost the exact same techniques a few years ago but it didn’t turn out as well as I’d hoped. I look forward to trying again and following this tutorial with all your great tips! The finished piece looks so amazing!
Thank you so much! I’m excited for you to try it again!
I love how randomly that Christmas musisic it is in April ❤️
IMHO one of the best miniaturists on Utube! Very inspirational and easy detailed instructions. Thank you so much for sharing. I always love your videos ❤
That is so so kind of you to say! I’m in good company of so many incredible miniaturists here that continue to inspire me ❤️
That set looked awesome at the end. 😊
Definitely going to try to bend wood for my dioramas :) thank you so much for sharing :)
Hi Ryan's mom Sam commenting... I love it 😅 and I love videos like this using raw materials and telling us how to bend wood 😮 wow amazing ❤❤
Hi Sam!! Thank you so much! Im so glad you found the video helpful ☺️
What an amazing excellent tutorial. I cannot wait to try this. I’ve learned so much from you! An Eames chair! Thank you !
You are so welcome! ❤️
Looks amazing and, as a beginner, I truly appreciate the clear instructions/tips.
I’m so glad it was helpful!
Try microwaving the wood after it’s soaked for a long time, way more pliable. Be careful of heat though
It’s mind blowing that this came from a popsicle stick, I adore it! I’m only a year or so into miniatures and you’re such an inspiration. Not to mention you’re a great teacher!
Your video angle looks so comfortable and effortless yet I know it’s anything but. Everything you do is top-notch!
Thank you so much! You’re so right!! Those camera angles were the result of some very uncomfortable camera positioning 😂
I'm in awe every video I watch of yours, so talented
Wonderful tutorial! The chair looks amazing 😍

13:26 doll boomerangs, for when you want to throw another shrimp on the Barbie.
I would love for you to do a miniature craft out of clay. ❤ Great work as always.
Thank you! I’ve tried in the past (you’ll find it in some older videos) but I am terrible at it 😂
Beautiful
Thank you!
the queen has posted! (srry just checked my yt)
I love it🎉🎉🎉😂❤
you have to try plaswood with air gun it"s work!!!!
Now can you just make that about 12 times bigger???
😅😁
17:46 did the little flip she did trip anyone else out?
Cath, this is amazing! Where do you get your thin leather fabric? I've looked all over for something thin enough for mini upholstery.
Hi there! I got mine from a local fabric store and it was definitely hard to find! I’ve scoured the internet for years but always had trouble. Something I’ve seen other creators do is thin out the leather with a blade. If you look up “thinning skiver”, you’ll see the tool I’m talking about :)
❤😊
❤❤❤❣
What glue do you use to attach wood segments? Beautiful project!
This is amazing! Where do you acquire the thin leather?
The Christmas music threw me off. I had to look at the date of post. Lol!
Why is there christmas music?
What would you recommend for 1:6 scale
Hi there! I would double all the measurements for 1:6 and you can use a pliable dollhouse wood like basswood sheets :)
Is this 1/12 size?
I own this dumb chair irl, I like/want this mini more.
Your minatures are so inspirational! Where is your accent?? Can't place it!
Excellent video!!!
Can you pinned me? Because today Is my birthday and no ones remember that
Happy Birthday 🎉
@@melissadevore9774 tank you so much

I thought you quit utube cause of policy changes?
Nope :) I still love sharing my projects and will continue to do so for as long as I can. It’s hard to find time these days but I try my best :)
You sound a little stuffy. Allergies getting to you? 😢
Awww you noticed! Yes! I love the warmer weather but all this pollen is wreaking havoc on my sinuses 🤧
