- The Dynasty Mode trailer dropped for College Football 25 along with a lengthy deep dive article. I'm making multiple videos breaking down the news in great detail. This video focuses on recruiting and all the new features related to building your team. Recruiting looks far more interesting than what we experienced previously, and I like how they've implemented the transfer portal.

What are we thinking about recruiting? I'm liking the depth of this system and I think they did the transfer portal well. Can't wait to build the best running back scout in the game.
it is very much better this way where you have to dedicate time to learning each prospect’s 3 key interests, because you could be wasting lots of time on them. in the past you knew them right away and could avoid them to better utilize points elsewhere, now there’s risk and time invested into every potential prospect you’re interested in

cant wait to see you recruit a tight end who isnt that great at receiving but is a great run blocker that will serve as TE #2 on the depth chart
Cane I (unironically) can not wait for you to spend and insane amount of time and effort to get a back up 2 star running back as a lower level team only for him to stab you in the back and go to your rival were he inevitably rushes for 200 yards against you costing you the game. Excited(same thing will happen to me with corners)

Just want to say I saw the news that the FCS teams are being named after some content creators (like the Pandas). Cane's Kalispell team should 100% have been included. Cane is an OG at NCAA 14 dynasty and his Warhawks dynasty was the best series on here.

I like that it has depth to it. There’s going to be a learning curve but once we get the hang of it I think it’ll be really fun.

@@MrHurriicane it’s still gonna have its people that whole heartedly believe it’s a good game & who loves the arcade aspect of it .. I genuinely only purchased the deluxe edition even tho the mvp bundle was a great bang for ya buck .. after 11 years I’m burnt out of that product.
@@JustAnAccountLmao810I had pretty much made my mind up that I was going to get the bundle even though I was really just interested in CFB 25. After the deep dive today, I decided there was no way Madden’s franchise mode wasn’t going to be able to compete with dynasty. Ended up going Deluxe CFB25 just like you.
Only way Madden will have life is if they add all the coaching carousal and upgrade the offseason
I still remember a Cane video with UTSA where he thought he had a recruit and he defected, prompting Cane to say “…but he decided to be a jackass and go to…”

The difference in just raw recruiting points really makes it seem like the difference in a big and small school will be monumental. Almost like it’s two different games.

Everyone was agreeing your miles ahead of the other guys in terms of realism,and immersion,with many saying your content has been there favorite going back to utsa in 13. They were saying they don’t think you get the love you deserve for your series,and I couldn’t agree more. I hope you keep pushing out your immersive,player focused dynasty’s,with CFB 25 included. We all love the work you put in,I think I’ll even add kalispell as a dynasty school in your honor. I’ve been watching you since 9th grade,I am in my mid 20s now,and you’ve taught me a lot and helped me get through tough times. I was watching kalispell series to get through a math class I had to retake online,and finished early. You should be on the Mount Rushmore on sports gaming YT guys,and I hope you never stop working

Seems like a great blend of keeping the great features from NCAA 14 while adding modern, fresh features of modern day. Very happy with the detail I saw

@@tylerfischer768 I know this is an absolute shot in the dark here but my UMD Terps have only had one 10-win season in the past 20 years... Probably an unlikely choice though. UNC and Syrcause also fit that criteria. And if we're talking perenial underperformers that have had TWO 10-win seasons since 2003, there's Miami, SMU, Minnesota, and Pitt. I can't wait to see who Cane picks

Totally stoked - has anyone heard if the players will progress to the NFL? Remember back in the day, College players graduating could be imported to Madden as the next draft class? Is that a thing? That was always fun - play your team in college, and your badass Senior declares for the NFL, and at the end of the season, you could import those players as the new Madden class - so then you play madden, import the class, and there's your badass player available for scouting and hopefully draft to your NFL team...
Unfortunately it's not going to be in the game. Because the college players are going to be licensed, EA can't import them into Madden since they're not NFL-liscensed as well
@@JaredB12 That sucks - like... after the first couple seasons, most of the players are auto-generated anyway so I was hoping it would be possible, because that was fun.
@@wchaza67 I totally agree. And it seems like the exact same thing is going to be why we apparently can’t edit the names/numbers/attributes of ANY players including auto-generated guys. Draft class exporting I can understand. This one blows my mind

Crazy part is if u want to be your own own for team u want. U now have to start as a coordinator then work up to a coach job and that's kinda cool

If you haven’t decided on a school yet, I’d love throw my school into the ring. I think you’d have fun with building up Marshall. It’s a small West Virginia school in a smaller, but fairy competitive conference in the Sun Belt conference and we have a rich history.

I think the high school class column in recruiting is used to differentiate between high school and JUCO.
Something that stands out is I don’t see OVR in the scouting/recruiting pages.
I also would like a prospect history tab or something to keep track of what they were as a recruit and where they have played previously.
The need in the recruiting screen seems more likely to be about team needs than dealbreakers to me

The recruit hours was in it before so was calling home but I’m glad they brought it back
So much depth in this. One of the best things is going to be the logic and difficulty of the recruiting mechanics. In ‘14 you could take the worst team and within 1/2 offseason be the best team in the country. It was far too easy and unrealistic, their plan for recruiting in this game seems super realistic and challenging. Looking forward to it even more if that’s possible.
They went in on this years game on the work they added to bring this back. It looks so real

If EA really wants to make this game authentic they should add recruiting juniors. In a lot of ways that’s where you make progress with prospects.

One thing I really like is that you only see 10 attributes and no overall. Adds alot more guess work to recruiting as opposed to perfect knowledge

I hate the school pipelines never changing..it essentially ensures big schools will never fall off. Also hate how mental abilities can't grow or get added.
Can you still create your own players to recruit? I used to love doing that.

Only thing I don't like is that a school's pipeline can't change. If you want to build a small school legitimately and are now a 4.5☆ school from a 2☆ and your coaching pipeline is to East Texas but the school's is something weak then that wouldn't be realistic anymore. It should have some "traditional" pipelines that don't change (Ohio St. dominating Ohio) but if a school has consistently recruited well from a pipeline for 4-5 years and those players performed well then that should become a new pipeline for the school. And they can lose it if they don't continue to win recruits from there or the players from there perform badly. And since it's not a "traditional" pipeline it can be lost
School pipelines are static but coach pipelines can change which makes sense. Like kalen Dabeor is a west coast guy atm but Alabama is still gonna be a south east recruiting.
@winstonlewis5630 right but that's still only 1 place if the school's pipeline is weak. And realistically powerhouse school's have more than 2 pipelines off their tradition alone. And u can't tell me that a team can't rise from nothing to become one if those powerhouses because that's exactly what The U did with coach Schnellenberger. And now "The State of Miami" that used to be their pipeline has extended into different regions such as Texas and Georgia. If a school can create a pipeline in a real life based off their success I don't see why it can't be in the game. But that's my only true criticism so far. Everything seems potentially good. We won't know for sure until release I just don't want to get my hopes too high and we're still talking about EA here
@@shinglesshingles it seems my point wasn’t relayed very well. Well first off schools have more than 1 pipeline. And second So let’s say you are playing Miami you will get a boost in south Florida because you are Miami. But as a coach (Schnellenberger) you can create pipelines elsewhere. You can make as many pipelines as your coach skill allows you to as addition to the schools pipeline.
@winstonlewis5630 if that's the case then cool but I still feel like the dynamic pipelines should be there for the school itself. Because even after a coach leaves if that program is good enough to sustain itself then why not let it keep pipelines that were developed under the first coach (back to Schnellenberger and how it went to Jimmy Johnson then Erikson and onto Butch Davis) if the school can continue to pull kids from there and win. It just feels like a missed opportunity to make all these great changes to pipelines then deadlock them so players/fans can't take full advantage of the feature just because their school was 2☆. And it doesn't have to be easy to establish a new pipeline like before where just having 3-5 guys on the roster was enough. Like I said establishing a pipeline should take years but it is a real thing for universities even outside of coaches and the changes that may happen. But yet again it is my only critique so far
I hope we can customize and turn things on or off. Haven't watched a college football game in a couple years because it's just not fun for me anymore. The death of the Pac 12 was kind of the final blow. I'd love more realistic transfers than we have but I don't want to be buying players out that I no longer want, begging some booster to spend 25k of his own money to get rid of Johnny
I'm glad the game looks so good but at the same time im annoyed im about to buy a new console just to play one game.
Interesting that it seems like we have 700 hours per week. Seems like way too many. 700 minutes would make way more sense.

I would assume they dont show you speed, acceleration, or strength because they show their 40 time and bench/squat
They actually don’t, at least not for everybody, according to Bordeaux at least who did have hands on experience from the beta event earlier this year. That makes sense tho as there’s no way every player would have a 40 time. Thats really not how that works. I image if speed doesn’t show up in the main 10 attributes it’s some what if a guessing game based of position, height, weight, and archetype. Could be mistaken here tho just what I have pieced together
@@mitchellima7548 Thats interesting. Like I said I was just assuming. I will say at least with skill position players even if scouts don't have a players 40 time irl they can watch film or go live to get a feel for their speed. Interested to see how it works in game.

@@mitchellima7548 looking back at the deep dive it did show speed, acceleration and strength on a defensive ended they scouted. So maybe it’s completely random.
@@Hargis40 it could be. I have mixed feeling if it is random (physical attributes like speed strength acceleration in particular). First and foremost scouting looks amazing and I’m so glad it seem challenging and interesting. And I do enjoy fog of war aspects. But not knowing speed for a wr can be a deal breaker off the bat. Strength for an online as well. But I think I like that. It’s makes it so what you know about players is just what defines them, and everything else is sorta a hoping game(which isn’t that far from real life). I’m just excited to get my hands on the game
Has anybody heard anything about two way players in dynasty? Find it baffling with Travis Hunter on the game this hasn’t been a speaking point in any video!

It's not. The recruiting system is better than just having to put points into players. It might look the same overall bc they just took what they did in 14 and expanded upon it!! Still gets me excited for it
No way you got thought this entire deep dive and came to that conclusion when there is a shit tone of changes and it is clearly way more in depth. Team management, staff management, play attributes abilities and play style, coaching attribute abilities and play style, coach carousel, recruiting, transfers, week to week player management, and an insane amount of interconnectivity that ties everything together. This is an asinine comment. Every aspect I mention is not just way different then 14 but also much improved and more in depth.
Some of the views are identical, like the coach summary showing past records. But there is a ton of new stuff too
