But just because she got over her fear of the angler fish before, doesn't mean she's immune now. In fact, the angler fish become, once again, the biggest obstacle to face. But her significantly increased death count isn't the biggest upset. It's what happens at the very end, right when she thinks she's done it...

1:47:20 the fish blocking the entrance is not bad RNG. That happens when you try once, run away, and try again in the same loop. In the first try, the fish move towards the entrance to get you, and when you reenter, that doesn't reset their positions, because why would it. Basically, when you fail that part, you have no choice but to restart the loop.
Makes sense. I think we can all agree though that the angler fish will not be missed from this game 😂
33:30 "No one needs to see me failing repeatedly." If we wanted to see someone do all the things really really well, we'd just replay the game. The thing that makes watching Outer Wilds so fun is watching someone learn. Failing is a really big part of that. I *miss* being able to fail at Outer Wilds.
I won't lie, it upsets me that I won't be able to play Outer Wilds again as a first-time experience. Despite some challenges, it was a really fun game to learn the puzzles and clues as you explored!
