Oregon the pacific northwest in 8K.Portland, Crater Lake, Mt. Hood, Bend, Smith Rock, Multnomah Falls, Columbia River Gorge, Hood River, Oregon Coast, and some of my favorite places in Oregon.
Filmed over the course of 4 seasons and 3 years in 8K with the Red Raptor and Monstro. All drone shots captured with the DJI Inspire 2 X7, in 6K.
Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro

I grew up in Oregon and these are the places I grew up exploring with my family, who I also included in the video too :) I even made sure to include my HighSchool I went to, which most videos I couldn't justify a way to do that, haha. Yes, pretty magical actually, and honestly a ton of pressure because Oregon means so much to me I didn't want to screw it up so I've been terrified to release this video because Oregon means so much to me, so the video becomes much more personal.

I’m a New Zealander who spent the best part of 3 years (mainly during the pandemic) in Oregon. My heart mourns every day about leaving (that song “I left my heart in Oregon” lol) What a stunning place to call home and it was an absolute honour being part or the Bend/Oregon community for that time. You have something special and will never find something quite like “Home”
This is wild because I live in Bend and am dying to visit New Zealand again

Magnificent, Devin. I have not been to Oregon in about 20 years. I was a very young lad then, but have fond memories of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River. Now that I am an adult, with a camper van, and limited time, Oregon is on my list of places to visit again.

This was so beautiful. I really loved your Instagram post talking about making this video as well. I grew up in OR and WA and recognized so many shots in this, it was very nostalgic for me too. One of my favorite shots was the broody drone shot over Haystack Rock.

This video is basically a masterclass in how you can tell a complete, epic story visually in about 5 minutes. Yes, Devin does have a RED camera but you could do this with a Sony a7...camera or any other good quality mirrorless. I doubt he's flying his RED but maybe. Again, you could get great video with a Mavic 3 or 3 Mini. It's not totally about the gear, it's THE STORY. Of course, I would like to have a three YEAR timeline!
I’ve lived in Portland for the past 20 years and moved away to pursue schooling. It’s been the most bittersweet feeling. It’s been my home since I was a teenager and I miss it so much already. Thanks for this video Devin! It highlights all I love so much about the PNW.
All the work that goes into everything i’ve seen you and your team do is wonderful. I’m still trying to find people that I can share my life with and i’m still puzzled of where to even start.
