  • How it´s done:
    As a tonegenerator I used the sampler in Logic Pro X. The preset is called "Arco Strings". Next I created 17 software instrument tracks, all with the sampler initiated. On each track I generated exaclty one very long note: G on the first track, A on the second and so on. The output number matched the track number: Track 1 - Output 1, Track 2 - output 2, Track 3 - Output , etc pp.
    On the mixer I used the USB - B input and assignd the USB as inputsource for all channels. To be able to play full chords (triads), I ganged the channels accordingly. Because the chords C, F and G all share notes I had to double some notes in Logic. The reason is that each channel can only be in one gan. I ended up with:
    1= G (gang 1)
    2 = A (gang 2)
    3 = c (gang 1)
    4 = c (gang 2)
    5 = e (gang 1)
    6 = f (gang 2)
    7 = g (gang 3)
    8 = B (gang 3)
    9 = d (gang 3)
    Channels 10 to 16 are c, d, e, f, g, a and (surprise) a high c (for the grand finale). The last "trick" is a loop on channel 32. It´s called "Cheering Crowd Studio" and does what it says on the tin.
    And then I really had to practise it. It was harder to execute then I initially thought. Give it a try.
